我们要多参加社交活动，扩大自己的社交圈，结交更多的朋友，积累更多的经验。

我们要时刻保持着自信和勇气，不断挑战自己，尝试新的事物，创造出更好的未来。

我们要珍惜时间，把握机遇。

时间对于每个人都是公平的，但是有一些人能够很好地把握时间，从而实现自己的价值和梦想。

一个叫塞尔玛的年轻女子，陪伴丈夫驻扎在一个沙漠的陆军基地里。

丈夫奉命到沙漠里演习，她一个人留在陆军的小铁皮房子里，不仅炎热难熬，而且没有人谈天。

她太难过了，就写信给父母说要回家。

她父亲的回信只有两行字：“两个人从牢房的铁窗望出去，一个人看到了泥土，一个人看到了星星。

”塞尔玛把这封信读了许多遍，感到非常惭愧，决心在沙漠里寻找自己的星星。

她开始和当地人交朋友，研究那些引人入迷的仙人掌和各种沙漠动植物知识。

她观看沙漠的日出日落，还寻找海螺壳。

这些都是几万年前这沙漠还是海床时留下来的。

沙漠没有变，印第安人没有变，只是塞尔玛的念头和心态改变了。

这一念之差使塞尔玛变成了另一个人，原先痛苦的生活变成了一生中最有意义的冒险。

她为自己的新发现兴奋不已。

两年后，塞尔玛的《快乐的城堡》出版了，她从自己的“牢房”看到了星星，那是满天的繁星，只有用心才能看到。

可见生活大大的改变都是从心态小小的改变开始的。

所以，我们今天来到这里，要把这骇人听闻的情况公诸于众。

从某种意义上说，我们来到国家的首都是为了兑现一张支票。

我们共和国的缔造者在拟写宪法和独立宣言的辉煌篇章时，就签署了一张每一个美国人都能继承的期票。

这张期票向所有人承诺——不论白人还是黑人——都享有不可让渡的生存权、自由权和追求幸福权。

然而，今天美国显然对她的有色公民拖欠着这张期票。

美国没有承兑这笔神圣的债务，而是开始给黑人一张空头支票——一张盖着“资金不足”的印戳被退回的支票。

但是，我们决不相信正义的银行会破产。

我们决不相信这个国家巨大的机会宝库会资金不足。
