通过本节课的学习,对U2 学习其他动物的生活习性做铺垫,本课起到承上启下的作用。

二、学情分析:六年级学生已经掌握了比较丰富的单词和英语知识,三四年级已经接触过一般现在时,本节课让孩子继续感知和运用。

六年级学生识读能力比较强,所以单词教学部分相对来说比较容易,但在教学过程中培养学生语音语调尤为重要。

三、教学目标:(1 )知识与技能目标:识读并运用单词believe,lucky,fantastic,bamboo,dangerous;能听懂、能实际运用句型: Pandas eat for twelve hours a day. They love bamboo. Snakes can’t hear. The snake gets frightened.(2)过程与方法目标:掌握重点句子,灵活运用功能语句描述动物的生活习性。

(3)情感态度价值观目标:进一步了解其他动物的生活习性,懂得爱护动物的重要性。

3)由熊猫一天吃十二个小时,引出课题:I don’t believe it!Step2: Words learning & Sentence learning:1)由熊猫一天要吃十二个小时的竹子引出believe,通过不同的操练方式让孩子们学会拼读这个单词。

2)再询问孩子是否相信草丛中会有凶猛的动物出现来引出come out of这个短语。

讲解它,并让学生自己举例子,操练这个短语。

3)看到蛇的图片,询问孩子,是否感到害怕,孩子回答yes 或者no,引出get frightened这个短语,并让孩子展示害怕的表情。
