二、教学重、难点分析1.本课时的重点是B Let's learn部分的单词:potato,tomato,onion,cucumber,carrot。
2.本课时的教学难点是:potato,tomato的复数形式。
三、课前准备1.教师准备该部分的挂图。
2.教师准备相关的词卡和图卡。
3.教师准备录音机、录音带或VCD。
4.教师和学生共同准备实物若干。
四、教学步骤和建议1.热身(Warm-up)Let's sing(1)教师放歌曲的录音,学生看图欣赏。
(2)学生跟录音哼唱歌曲。
2.预习(Preview)教师利用实物,参照A部分的Let's talk的句型,指导学生做新旧单词的替换练习,如:Are they potatoes?3.新课呈现(Presentation)Let's learn(1)建议教师从歌谣导入本课的学习。
学生听录音唱歌谣后,教师手举实物与学生进行对话,如:Do you like tomatoes? 在这一环节教师要尽量创造一个宽松的环境,让学生充分表达自己的感受。
(2)教师指导学生运用实物或卡片进行各种形式的单词辨音、记忆练习,并适时穿插进行听录音、跟读、模仿等活动。
(3)教师设计巩固单词练习。
以下活动供参考:a.绘画游戏。
教师说:Two tomatoes.学生比赛看谁画得又快而正确。
b.每名学生手持蔬菜图片(自己喜欢吃的蔬菜)一张;另请五名学生手拿小篮子,并分别说出蔬菜的英文名称,其他学生根据听到的词将手中的图片分别放在相应的小篮子中,如其中一位学生说“Potato”,手拿土豆图片的学生将图片放在该学生的小篮子中。
练习做完后,可以统计一下全班学生都喜欢什么蔬菜。
(4)在指导学生熟悉名词复数形式时,教师可以用纸剪一些“s”和“es”,请学生进行给名词加复数后缀的比赛。
