UNIT 6 At a Farm 第四课时一、教学目标与要求1．能够听、说、认读本课时主要单词。

2．能够跟录音朗读生词。

3．能够说唱B部分的歌谣。

4．能够理解Story time的内容。

二、教学重、难点分析1．本课时的重点是B Let's learn部分的单词：potato，tomato，onion，cucumber，carrot。

2．本课时的教学难点是：potato，tomato的复数形式。

三、课前准备1．教师准备该部分的挂图。

2．教师准备相关的词卡和图卡。

3．教师准备录音机、录音带或VCD。

4．教师和学生共同准备实物若干。

四、教学步骤和建议1．热身（Warm-up）Let's sing（1）教师放歌曲的录音，学生看图欣赏。

（2）学生跟录音哼唱歌曲。

2．预习（Preview）教师利用实物，参照A部分的Let's talk的句型，指导学生做新旧单词的替换练习，如：Are they potatoes？3．新课呈现（Presentation）Let's learn（1）建议教师从歌谣导入本课的学习。

学生听录音唱歌谣后，教师手举实物与学生进行对话，如：Do you like tomatoes? 在这一环节教师要尽量创造一个宽松的环境，让学生充分表达自己的感受。

（2）教师指导学生运用实物或卡片进行各种形式的单词辨音、记忆练习，并适时穿插进行听录音、跟读、模仿等活动。

（3）教师设计巩固单词练习。

以下活动供参考：a．绘画游戏。

教师说：Two tomatoes．学生比赛看谁画得又快而正确。

b．每名学生手持蔬菜图片（自己喜欢吃的蔬菜）一张；另请五名学生手拿小篮子，并分别说出蔬菜的英文名称，其他学生根据听到的词将手中的图片分别放在相应的小篮子中，如其中一位学生说“Potato”，手拿土豆图片的学生将图片放在该学生的小篮子中。

练习做完后，可以统计一下全班学生都喜欢什么蔬菜。

（4）在指导学生熟悉名词复数形式时，教师可以用纸剪一些“s”和“es”，请学生进行给名词加复数后缀的比赛。
