Write the three questions on the blackboard. Get the students to ask and answer in pairs. Then ask the class to open the books. Look at Section B on page 47,Part 1.Read the instructions to the students. Tell them to complete the chart on their own.Move around the classroom while the children are writing, giving help if necessary.After all of them have finished writing, ask some children to read their answers to the class and share the favorite book with the classmates after class.Step Ⅲ2aThis activity provides listening practice using the target language.Read the instructions to the class. Make sure each one knows what to do. First tell the students to have a look at the picture and let them guess what they are talking about.I’ll see who is good at guessing the answers. The task of us is to write out the three things that they are talking about.Play the tape the first time. Ask several students to tell the answers and see if the others have different ones. Play the tape again if the students need to listen to it again. Correct the answers.
