Do you agree with Capital punishment?
In the following essay I will discuss why some people believe capital punishment is necessary . I will look at the main reasons for this issue. However, there are always two sides to every argument, so for the purpose of this essay I will also discuss why the others believe capital punishment is not necessary. Lastly, having looked at both sides of this argument I will offer my opinion as a conclusion.(72)
W e must admit that capital punishment has a powerful strength to prevent the citizens to break the law and reduce the crime rate to society. Due to the lower crime rate people will have a security living environment and stable social environment. Futher more, I firmly believe that capital punishment is the resonable penalty to the offenders. They must be brought to justice and shoulder their responsibility.(67)
However, the others think that capital punishment is too blood-thirsty and inhuman. They believe it is the human natural to survival and anyone can not have the right to deprive another’s living right. The criminals should have the second chance to live though the rehabilitation programs. In terms of psychologically layer,
it is a huge trauma to the criminal’s relatives, maybe they will resent socirty or even break the law.(71)
Having looked at both sides of this argument, I firmly believe that capital punishment is necessary in society. It will educate the citizen to respect the law and maintain social order. But the judge and the jury must have a careful attitude about using capital punishment.(46)。
