My Amazing Journey to the National Vocational Skills Competition
Hi everyone! My name is Lily, and I'm a 9-year-old student from a small town called Sunshineville. Today, I want to share with you my incredible experience at the National Vocational Skills Competition for primary school students. It was like a dream come true!
First of all, let me tell you how I got there. It all started when my teacher, Miss Johnson, discovered my talent for English during one of our class activities. She encouraged me to participate in the English oral competition at our school. I was really nervous, but I practiced a lot and gave it my best shot. Guess what? I won first place at the school level!
Winning at the school level meant that I could represent our school at the district-level competition. There, I competed against students from different schools. It was challenging, but I didn't give up. I spoke confidently and impressed the judges with
my fluency and pronunciation. To my surprise, I won first place at the district level too!
The district-level victory meant that I would move on to the regional competition. This time, I was even more excited and determined to do my best. I prepared for the competition by practicing with my English teacher and reading lots of English books. The regional competition was tough, but I stayed calm and focused. When they announced the winners, I couldn't believe my ears - I had won first place again!
Becoming the regional champion meant that I had earned a spot in the National Vocational Skills Competition for primary school students. I was overjoyed! The competition took place in a big city, and I traveled there with my parents and Miss Johnson. The atmosphere was electrifying, with students from all over the country showcasing their skills.
On the day of the competition, I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. But as soon as I stepped on stage, all my nerves disappeared. I spoke about my favorite hobby, which is painting, and how it allows me to express my creativity. I also talked about the importance of art in our lives. The judges seemed impressed, and the audience cheered me on.
After the competition, there was a grand award ceremony. I held my breath as they announced the winners. When they called my name as the champion of the National Vocational Skills Competition for primary school students, I couldn't believe it! I was over the moon with joy. It was a moment I will never forget.
Participating in the competition was an incredible learning experience for me. Not only did it boost my confidence, but it also allowed me to meet talented students from different parts of the country. We exchanged ideas and learned from each other. It was a fantastic opportunity for personal growth.
I want to thank my parents for their unwavering support and encouragement throughout this journey. I also want to express my gratitude to Miss Johnson for believing in me and pushing me to reach my full potential.
In conclusion, the National Vocational Skills Competition was an amazing adventure that I will cherish forever. It taught me the importance of hard work, determination, and never giving up on my dreams. I hope that my story will inspire other young students to pursue their passions and believe in themselves. Remember, dreams really do come true if you work hard and never stop believing!
Thank you all for listening to my incredible journey!

Hi everyone! My name is Lily and I'm 8 years old. I love learning English because it's so much fun to speak a new language. Today I want to tell you all about my favorite animals - dogs!
Dogs are the best pets ever. They are so cute, fluffy, and always happy to see you. When you come home from school, dogs greet you with wagging tails and lots of licks. It makes me feel very loved. Dogs are always excited to play games like fetch or tug-of-war. You never feel bored with a doggy friend around!
There are all kinds of different dog breeds that come in many sizes and colors. Some dogs are tiny lapdogs that can fit in your arms. Others are huge working dogs that are as big as a horse! My favorite is the golden retriever because they have beautiful long fur and the happiest smiles. But I also really like bulldogs with their funny wrinkly faces. Poodles look so silly with their funny haircuts. Every breed is unique and special.
The best thing about dogs is how loving and loyal they are. Dogs think their owners are the most important people in the whole world. They follow you around the house and always want to cuddle or play. Dogs make the perfect best friend because
they never get mad at you or ditch you for someone else. Having a dog teaches you all about being a good friend yourself.
Taking care of a dog is a big responsibility though. You have to remember to feed them every day and give them fresh water. Dogs need to go on walks to exercise and do their bathroom business outside. You have to clean up their potties, which is pretty gross! But it's worth it for all the unconditional love dogs give.
Dogs are very smart too, and can learn all kinds of cool tricks. My dog Buddy knows how to sit, stay, shake a paw, and even roll over and play dead! We're working on teaching him to fetch my slippers. The most popular dog tricks are for working dogs though, like herding sheep, pulling sleds, or sniffing out smells. Service dogs help people with disabilities in amazing ways.
Sometimes dogs can get into trouble by barking too much, digging holes, or chewing on shoes. But they're just being playful pups. As long as you give a dog plenty of exercise, toys, and training, they'll be perfect pooches. The most important thing is to shower them with affection and treats!
I really want to get a job working with animals when I grow up, maybe as a dog groomer, walker, or trainer. Caring for dogs combines my biggest passions of helping cute critters and
making new friends. A dog is the ultimate pal that will stick by you through thick and thin, furry and faithful to the end. I'll always be a dog person through and through. Who's with me? Woof!

Hi everyone! My name is Lily, and I'm a fourth-grade student at Sunshine Elementary School. Today, I want to share my amazing adventure at the National Vocational College Skills Competition. It was a super exciting experience!
First of all, let me tell you how I got the opportunity to participate in this competition. Our school organized a talent show, and I decided to showcase my English speaking skills. I practiced really hard and won first place! My teacher, Miss Johnson, was so proud of me that she recommended me to represent our school at the national level. I couldn't believe it!
The competition took place in a big city called Brightville. When I arrived there, I was amazed by the vibrant atmosphere. The venue was enormous, filled with talented students from all over the country. The moment I stepped in, I felt a mix of
nervousness and excitement. The air was buzzing with anticipation.
The first part of the competition was the introduction round. Each participant had to introduce themselves in English and share something interesting about their hometown. I proudly introduced myself as Lily from Sunshine Elementary School, and I talked about our beautiful beach and friendly people. I even taught the audience a few words in my native language. They loved it!
Next came the impromptu speaking round. We were given a topic and had to speak about it for two minutes. My topic was "My Favorite Hobby." I love painting, so I spoke about how painting makes me happy and helps me express my creativity. I shared a funny story about the time I accidentally spilled paint all over my dog. The judges and the audience laughed, and it made me feel more confident.
After a short break, it was time for the group activity. We were divided into teams and had to work together to solve a series of puzzles and challenges. It was a language-based game that tested our communication and problem-solving skills. My team was called "The Language Wizards." We had so much fun cracking codes, answering riddles, and completing tasks. We
cheered for each other and encouraged one another. It was a true team effort!
In the final round, we had to deliver a prepared speech on the topic "My Dream for the Future." I spoke about my dream of becoming an astronaut and exploring outer space. I described the wonders of the universe and how I wanted to contribute to scientific discoveries. I ended my speech with a quote from Neil Armstrong: "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." The audience applauded, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment.
Finally, the moment we had all been waiting for arrived—the award ceremony. The top three participants in each category would receive medals and certificates. I was beyond thrilled when they announced my name as the winner of the English Speaking Competition for primary school students! Hello everyone! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. I'm a student in 5th grade at Meadowbrook Elementary School. Today, I want to tell you about my dream job when I grow up - I want to be a veterinarian!
Ever since I was a little girl, I've loved animals of all kinds - dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, birds, you name it! My parents always joke that I was born a animal lover. I can still remember my 5th birthday party when my parents got me a puppy. His name was Rufus and he was the cutest golden retriever ever. I was overjoyed!
From that day on, Rufus was my best friend. We did everything together - playing fetch, going for walks, and he even
slept at the foot of my bed every night. When he got sick a few years later, I was heartbroken. Thankfully, our wonderful veterinarian Dr. Martinez was able to help Rufus get healthy again after just a few visits to her animal clinic.
Watching Dr. Martinez work was amazing. She was so caring and gentle with Rufus, but also really knowledgeable about all his medical needs. I knew from that moment that I wanted to be just like her when I grew up so I could help make sick pets healthy and happy again.
Since then, I've been learning everything I can about being a veterinarian. Last year for my science fair project, I did all this research on how vets diagnose and treat common pet diseases. I even got to interview Dr. Martinez about her job which was really cool!
She explained to me all the different things vets do, like giving pets their vaccinations, performing surgery, prescribing medicine, and educating owners on how to properly care for their animals. It sounds like such an interesting and rewarding career. I can't wait to start working towards becoming a vet myself!
I know there will be some challenging times, like when pets are very sick or injured and the vet can't save them. But overall, I
think it will be an incredibly fulfilling job. Just imagining the joy of helping a beloved family pet recover from illness or injury makes me really excited to become a veterinarian.
My biggest inspirations are my parents and Dr. Martinez. My parents have always encouraged me to follow my dreams and work hard to achieve my goals. And Dr. Martinez is living proof that with dedication and passion, you can turn your love for animals into an amazing career.
So that's my big dream for the future - to one day open up my very own veterinary clinic! I want to care for local pets and give their owners a place they can trust to provide the very best treatment. Of course, I'll need some awesome vet technicians and other staff members to help run the clinic too.
I also hope I can use my career to educate the community about being a responsible pet owner. Simple things like getting your pet spayed or neutered, keeping them up-to-date on vaccines, and giving them proper food, shelter and exercise are so important. Maybe I could even visit schools and youth groups to teach kids all about pet care from an early age!
Well, those are my plans for now at least! I know I'm still pretty young and my career path could change down the road. But I can't imagine wanting to do anything else with my life
besides working with adorable dogs, cats, bunnies and all kinds of other furry, feathery or scaly friends.
I'm going to keep working as hard as I can in school, getting good grades and soaking up all the knowledge I can about science and the animal kingdom. With a lot of determination and a lifetime love of animals, I know I can make my dream of becoming a veterinarian come true. I can't wait to help keep pets healthy and make their owners smile for many years to come!
Thank you all for listening today. I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes about choosing a career from the famous Dr. Seuss - "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened!" Following your passion is so important, no matter what path you choose. Just have faith in yourself and your abilities. If you can dream it, you can achieve it!

My Amazing Adventure at the National Vocational College Skills Competition
Hi everyone! My name is Timmy, and I'm a primary school student. Guess what? I recently had the most incredible adventure at the National Vocational College Skills Competition! Let me tell you all about it.
First of all, let me explain what the competition was all about. It was a big event where students from vocational colleges across the country showcased their skills in different fields. I was lucky enough to participate in the English speaking competition. Can you believe it? A little kid like me, competing with talented students from vocational colleges!
On the day of the competition, I was a bundle of nerves. The stage was huge, and there were so many people watching. But once I started speaking, all my fears melted away. I had practiced so hard, and I was determined to do my best.
The first round of the competition was a prepared speech. I chose to talk about my dream of becoming an astronaut. I spoke about how I love looking at the stars and imagining what it would be like to explore outer space. I even shared some fun facts about the planets in our solar system. The audience seemed fascinated, and I felt really proud of myself.
After the prepared speech, came the impromptu speaking round. This was the most challenging part for me. We were given a random topic and had to speak about it for two minutes without any preparation. My topic was "My favorite hobby." I quickly gathered my thoughts and started talking about my love for painting. I spoke about the colors I like to use and how
painting makes me feel happy. It was a bit nerve-wracking, but I managed to keep going and finish within the time limit.
The final round was a group discussion. We were divided into teams and given a problem to solve. Our team had to discuss ways to protect the environment. I shared my ideas about recycling, planting trees, and saving water. It was amazing to see how everyone in the team contributed their thoughts and worked together. We came up with some fantastic solutions, and the judges were impressed with our teamwork.
At the end of the competition, the results were announced. Although I didn't win the first prize, I received a special mention for my enthusiasm and confidence. I was over the moon with joy! It was such an incredible experience, and I made so many new friends from different parts of the country.
Participating in the National Vocational College Skills Competition taught me many valuable lessons. I learned the importance of hard work, dedication, and believing in myself. It also showed me that age doesn't matter when it comes to pursuing our dreams.
I'll always cherish the memories of this amazing adventure. Who knows? Maybe one day I'll return to the National Vocational
College Skills Competition as a competitor in a different field. But for now, I'm proud to be a little kid with big dreams.
Thank you for listening to my story. Wish me luck on my next adventure!

Hello everyone! My name is Lily and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to talk to you about my favorite things - animals! I love all kinds of animals, but especially dogs, cats, and horses.
First, let me tell you about my dog Rufus. He's a big golden retriever and he's the best dog ever! Rufus loves to play fetch and go for walks in the park. Whenever I get home from school, he gets so excited and jumps up to lick my face. It's really funny! Sometimes he makes me laugh so hard my stomach hurts.
Rufus is really smart too. My mom taught him lots of tricks like sit, stay, roll over, and shake. My favorite is when he shakes with his paw. It looks like he's waving hello! Rufus is a very good boy and I'm lucky he's my dog.
Next, I want to tell you about my cat Snickers. Snickers is an orange tabby and she loves to sleep in the sunshine. She spends most of the day napping in warm sunny spots around the house.
Snickers is really cute and soft, but sometimes she can be a little feisty if you bother her while she's sleeping!
Snickers loves to play with toys like jingly balls and feathers on strings. It's hilarious to watch her jump and pounce after them. She gets so focused and her eyes get really big and wide. After she plays hard, she takes a long cat nap to rest up.
Even though Snickers is little, she rules the house. Rufus is way bigger but he's a little scared of her! If Snickers swats him or hisses, he gets out of her way fast. I think it's because Snickers has those sharp claws. Mom says she's the boss.
The last animal I want to tell you about is my friend Chloe's horse, Buttercup. Buttercup is a big chestnut mare with a blonde mane and tail. She's so beautiful and majestic. I love going to the stable to visit her and Chloe.
Riding Buttercup is my favorite activity. When I'm on her back, I feel like I'm soaring through the air. The steadyrhythm of her stride is so calming and peaceful. It's almost like she's rocking me gently.
Buttercup is a well-trained horse who listEns closely to Chloe's commands. She trots, canters, and even gallops when Chloe asks. I get a little nervous when Buttercup runs fast, but
Chloe always stays in control. I hope I can learn to ride as well as Chloe someday.
Even though I don't own a horse, I help out at the stable as much as I can. I love the sights, smells, and sounds of the barn. I don't mind mucking out stalls or brushing Buttercup's silky coat. Spending time with horses makes me so happy.
Animals bring me so much joy and laughter. I can't imagine life without the love of my furry, feathery, and hooved friends. Whether I'm snuggling Rufus, playing with Snickers, or riding Buttercup, animals always put a big smile on my face.
I hope you enjoyed hearing about some of my favorite animal pals today. Does anyone else have special animal friends they'd like to share about? I'd love to hear your stories! Caring for animals teaches us responsibility, but more importantly, it fills our hearts with unconditional love. Thanks for listening!。
