As technology continues to advance at a rapid pace, more and more people are becoming addicted to their devices and the digital world. This phenomenon has raised concerns about the impact of technology addiction on individuals and society as a whole. There are several reasons why people become addicted to technology. One of the main reasons is the instant gratification that technology provides. With just a few taps on a screen, we can access endless amounts of information, entertainment, and communication. This constant stream of stimulation can be incredibly addictive, leading people to spend hours scrolling through social media feeds or playing video games.Another reason for technology addiction is the fear of missing out. With the rise of social media, people are constantly bombarded with images of their friends and acquaintances living seemingly perfect lives. This can create a sense of anxiety and a need to constantly check in and stay connected. As a result, people may spend excessive amounts of time on their devices in order to stay up to date with the latest trends and news.Furthermore, technology addiction can also be attributed to a lack of self-control. Many people struggle to set boundaries for themselves when it comes to technology use, leading to compulsive behaviors and unhealthy habits. This can lead to feelings of loneliness and disconnection, ultimately weakening the bonds between individuals. In the workplace, technology addiction can lead to decreased productivity and performance. When people are distracted by their devices, they may struggle to focus on theirtasks and meet deadlines. This can have a negative impact on job satisfaction and overall job performance.Despite the negative consequences of technology addiction, there are ways to address and overcome this issue. One of the first steps is to recognize and acknowledge the problem. By being aware of their technology use patterns, individuals can take steps to limit their screen time and establish healthier habits.Setting boundaries and creating a technology-free time and space can also help individuals break free from their technology addiction. This can involve turning off notifications, setting designated times for device use, and engaging in offline activities such as exercise, hobbies, or spending time with loved ones.Furthermore, seeking support from friends, family, or mental health professionals can also be beneficial for individuals struggling with technology addiction. By talking openly about their struggles and seeking help, people can work towards building healthier relationships with technology and regaining control over their lives. In conclusion, technology addiction is a growing issue that requires attention and awareness. The digital revolution hasdemocratized access to information and tools, empowering individuals to create, collaborate, and share their ideas on a global scale. Social media platforms and online communities have fostered a sense of interconnectedness, allowing people to connect with others who share their interests and passions. The field of digital art, for instance, has flourished, with artists leveraging cutting-edge software and hardware to push the boundaries of what is possible in the visual arts.At the same time, the rapid pace of technological change has also brought about significant challenges and concerns. The widespread adoption of automation and artificial intelligence has raised questions about the future of employment, with fears that certain jobs may become obsolete as machines become more capable of performing tasks traditionally carried out by human workers. There are also valid concerns about the potential misuse of technology, such as the spread of misinformation, the infringement of privacy, and the development of autonomous weapons systems. To address these challenges, it is crucial that we approach technological innovation with a balanced and thoughtful approach.

Undoubtedly, technology has become an integral part of our daily lives, permeating every aspect of our existence. The rapid advancements in digital devices, social media platforms, and online entertainment have led to a growing concern about the potential for technological addiction. As we delve deeper into this complex issue, it is essential to examine the reasons why people may become captivated by the allure of technology, the potential consequences of such addiction, and the strategies that can be employed tostrike a balance between technological integration and personal well-being.At the core of this discussion lies the undeniable factthat technology offers a myriad of benefits. It has revolutionized the way we communicate, access information, and entertain ourselves. The convenience and immediacy provided by smartphones, laptops, and various apps have become indispensable in our fast-paced world. However, this very convenience and accessibility can also be a double-edged sword, leading to an unhealthy reliance on technologythat can ultimately hinder our ability to engage with the physical world and maintain meaningful interpersonal relationships. One of the primary reasons why people may become addicted to technology is the inherent human craving for constant stimulation and gratification. The dopamine-fueled feedback loops created by social media interactions, mobile games, and online entertainment can trigger a powerful sense of reward and satisfaction. This neurological response can lead to a compulsive need to constantly check for new updates, likes, or messages, ultimately disrupting our ability to focus on other important aspects of our lives.Furthermore, the ubiquity of technology in our modern society has created a pervasive sense of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). The constant exposure to the curated and often idealized lives of others on social media can foster a belief that we are missing out on exciting experiences or that our own lives are somehow lacking in comparison. This psychological pressure can drive individuals to constantly engage with their digital devices, seeking validation and aperceived sense of connection that may not reflect the true nature of their relationships. The consequences of technological addiction can be far-reaching and profound. Excessive screen time and constant digital stimulation can lead to a range of physical and mental health issues, such as eye strain, headaches, disrupted sleep patterns, and even depression and anxiety. The inability to disconnect from technology can also hinder our ability to engage in face-to-face interactions, leading to a deterioration of social skills and the potential for strained personal relationships. Moreover, technological addiction can have significant academic and professional implications. The constant distraction and temptation to engage with digital devices can impair cognitive function, reduce productivity, and even compromise academic or professional performance. The inability to focus and prioritize tasks can have far-reaching consequences, potentially hindering individual growth and career advancement. To address the growing concern of technological addiction, a multi-faceted approach is necessary. Individuals must cultivate a heightened awareness of their own digital habits and the impact they have on their well-being. This can involve setting boundaries, such as designating technology-free zones or periods, and actively engaging in mindfulness practices to counteract the compulsive need to constantly check digital devices.Additionally, educational initiatives and public awareness campaigns can play a crucial role in helping individuals, especially young people, develop healthy digital habits. Schools and communities can introduce digital literacy programs that teach the importance of balanced technology use, media literacy, and the cultivation of alternative hobbies and social activities.Furthermore, the design and development of technological products and platforms should prioritize user well-being and incorporate features that discourage excessive and compulsive use. Tech companies can collaborate with healthcare professionals and policymakers to establishguidelines and regulations that promote responsible technological integration and mitigate the risks of addiction. In conclusion, the issue of technological addiction is a complex and multifaceted challenge that requires a comprehensive approach. While the benefits of technologyare undeniable, it is crucial to recognize the potentialfor addiction and its detrimental effects on our physical, mental, and social well-being. By fostering a balanced and mindful relationship with technology, individuals can harness its power while maintaining a healthy andfulfilling life in the physical world. Through collective efforts and a deeper understanding of the underlying mechanisms of technological addiction, we can navigate this digital landscape with greater wisdom and create a future where technology enhances, rather than dominates, our lives.。

1Do People Depend Too Much on Technology?Hi there! My name is Alex and I'm going to write about whether people rely too much on technology these days. It's a big question that even adults disagree on. Some think technology makes our lives better and easier. But others worry we've become too hooked on our phones, computers, and all the latest gizmos and can't put them down. What do you think? Let me share my perspective as a 10-year-old kid.First off, I have to admit that I love technology and all the cool things it allows me to do. My phone lets me watch endless videos, play awesome games, and stay connected to my friends 24/7 through messaging apps. My laptop and tablet help me do research for school projects and create presentations with sound, animation, you name it. Technology is fun and makes learning way more engaging! At the same time, I notice that some people, even kids my age, seem to be on their devices constantly. During recess, instead of running around playing tag or handball, many of my classmates plop themselves down against the wall fixated on their phones. At restaurants, I see entire families sitting in silence, each person absorbed in their own screen. It's kind of sad, isn't it? They're missing out on quality time together. My parents try to enforce rules about screen time limits, no phones during mealtimes, and tech-free hours before bedtime. They say it's important to have a balance and not let devices take over our lives completely. I agree it makes sense to have limits, even though I often find myself protesting them! Without restrictions, I can easily get carried away and spend way too many hours in front of a screen. In my opinion, technology can be an incredible tool and source of information, entertainment and connections. But it can also become an unhealthy obsession if we're not careful. Like anything else, it's best used in moderation. Too much of even a good thing isn't healthy.Teachers always reinforce the importance of reading actual books instead of just relying on computer summaries. There's something magical about turning the pages of a real book that a screen can't quite capture. Mom and Dad make sure we go outside and be active, rather than just vegging out with videogames all day during breaks and summer. They say technology will never be a substitute for hands-on experiences, personal interactions and discovering the natural world. It takes discipline and self-control to maintain a balanced approach to tech. My younger sister has a much harder time unplugging than I do. Maybe it's because I'm a little older or just have a different temperament. She gets antsy and throws tantrums if her screen time is cut off, while I'm usually ready to move on to the next activity after awhile. For kids being raised in today's high-tech world, learning to Self-regulate usage from an early age will be a crucial life skill. We don't want to grow up overdependent and Unable to function without the constant pings and bright lights of our devices. So in summary, while I'm extremely grateful for all the amazing possibilities technology provides, I recognize there's a fine line between using it as a tool to enhance our lives and letting it take over as an addiction. It's all about balance and being intentional with how we spend our time. I hope we can all try to appreciate the incredible capabilities of technology while also making sure not to lose our ability to engage with the realworld around us. What do you think? I'd love to hear your perspective!篇2Do People Depend Too Much on Technology?Hi, my name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to talk to you about technology and whether people are becoming too dependent on it. It's a really interesting topic that adults seem to argue about a lot.Technology is everywhere these days! I have a tablet that I use for schoolwork and games. My parents both have smartphones. We have a big flat screen TV, a laptop, a desktop computer, and even a virtual reality headset at home. Technology makes a lot of things easier and more fun.At school, we have interactive whiteboards instead of old chalkboards. We can watch videos and do activities right on the board. All my textbooks are digital now too. I don't have to lug around a heavy backpack anymore since all my books and materials are on my tablet. Technology definitely makes learning more engaging and interactive. My dad works in an office downtown. He used to have tons of paper files, printouts, and Post-It notes everywhere. Now hejust uses cloud storage, digital documents, and project management apps to keep everything organized. My mom is a graphic designer and she couldn't do her job without design software and a powerful computer. They both seem to be glued to their smartphones for email, messaging, and looking things up.Even my 75-year-old grandma uses technology now! She has a simple smartphone and tablet to video call us, check the news and weather, and play brain games. She says it helps keep her mind sharp. I don't think she could imagine living without those gadgets now.So those are some of the ways that technology has become a huge part of our lives. It affects how we learn, work, communicate, and entertain ourselves. You could say our whole society revolves around technology nowadays. But I've noticed some downsides to all this technology too. Like when my parents are constantly checking their phones during family dinner instead of talking to me and my little brother. Or when I get burned out from starting at a screen all day between school and my videogames. Sometimes I just want to go outside and run around instead of being plugged into devices. My teacher says some adults are constantly distracted by notifications and have a hard time focusing without technology. Things like maps, calculators, and fact-checking used to require more mental effort. But now we're so reliant on gadgets doing those things for us. It's made our minds sort of lazy in a way. There are also real physical problems from too much technology too. Did you know staring at screens for hours can cause headaches, eye strain, poor posture, and disrupt your sleep? Or that being sedentary playing videogames all day is really unhealthy? Moderation is key when it comes to tech. Some people get straight up addicted to their devices too. They freak out if they're somewhere without WiFi or their battery is low. Or they compulsively check for notifications or new messages. That doesn't seem psychologically healthy to me. It's like technology controls them instead of them controlling the technology. My parents argue about whether giving kids unlimited screen time and tech from a young age is a good thing. I have friends who watch videos and play games from morning until night on their devices. As long as I balance it out with other activities like sports, reading books, and playing outside, I thinkit's okay. But being raised surrounding by so much technology could definitely create dependence and developmental issues. So in conclusion, I think technology is an incredibly useful tool that has transformed society and made many things easier. But I can understand the fear that we're becoming overly reliant on devices to the detriment of our human capabilities, health, and relationships. Moderation and balance is key. Technology should be something we use to enhance our lives, not something we mindlessly depend on and let control us.What do you think about this topic? I'd be curious to hear from other kids and adults if they feel too dependent on technology or if they have a good balance. Maybe you could write me a letter responding to my essay? Getting pen pals through the mail could be fun -- an example of using technology in moderation. Anyways, thanks for reading my thoughts! Let me know if you agree or disagree.篇3Are We Too Hooked on Tech Toys?Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm a 4th grader. I love playing video games, watching shows on my tablet, and keeping up with my friends on social media. Technology is so much funand helps us learn and stay connected. But I've been hearing adults talking about how we kids (and grown-ups too!) might be spending too much time glued to our screens and gizmos. They say we're getting "addicted" to technology and it's making us disconnected from the real world. I'm not so sure I agree, but I can kind of see their point. Let me explain what I mean.On the one hand, technology is amazing and has brought us so many cool advancements. Can you imagine life without being able to Google stuff, use maps on your phone to get anywhere, or video chat with your BFF across the country? Tablets and computers help us learn in fun, interactive ways at school instead of just reading from boring old textbooks. And I bet most of you would agree that playing the latest hit video game is way more fun than the old-fashioned board games our parents and grandparents played as kids. With all this great technology at our fingertips, it's easy to get sucked in and lose track of time. I know I've certainly been guilty of that – my mom is always nagging me to get off my games and do my homework or chores. And I've heard of some kids who get so obsessed with gaming that they stop hanging out with friends, neglect their schoolwork, and even struggle totake care of basic needs like eating and sleeping properly. That's definitely taking things too far.But I think for most of us, our gadgets and gizmos are just tools we use to make our lives easier, more entertaining, and more connected. Sure, we may waste some time aimlessly scrolling through social media or binging the latest shows everyone is talking about. But don't adults do the same thing with their devices – whether it's being glued to the news, binge-watching grown-up shows, or spending hours answering emails for work? The technology itself isn't bad, it's about utilizing it in a balanced, healthy way.My parents are always stressing about "screen time limits" and making sure I go outside and run around instead of just sitting on the couch or at my desk all day. At first I used to groan about it, but I actually do feel better and more recharged after taking breaks from technology for fresh air, exercise, andface-to-face social interaction. And lots of research shows those things are important for physical and mental health, not to mention developing key life skills like problem-solving, creativity, and relating to other people. You can't just learn everything through a screen! That said, I don't think technology is going to go away anytime soon – it's a huge part of our modern lives and world, for better or worse. New innovations in things like artificial intelligence, robotics, and virtual reality are going to keep shaping how we live, work, and play in the future. Instead of fighting against it, we need to figure out how to embrace the benefits of technology while also being mindful about taking breaks, getting out into the real world, and remembering to actually experience life beyond just what's happening in the digital realm. It's all about balance, self-control, and moderation. Maybe adults struggle more with that than kids do because we're still figuring out how to navigate this crazy, high-tech world we were born into. Once you get older and lose that sense of childhood wonder, perhaps it's easier to get lured into bad habits of constantly checking your devices instead appreciating the present moment and the people around you. Just look around a restaurant and you'll see tons of grown-ups ignoring their families while they mindlessly scroll on their phones. Not cool! The good news is that most of us kids realize that as fun and useful as our cherished tech can be, it can't replace hands-on experiences, human connection, physical activity, and all theother components that make for a truly fulfilling life. Sure, we may be the first generation raised as "digital natives," but I think we're also developing a keen awareness of when to unplug and live life in the here-and-now instead virtually. The real world –with all its ups and downs, joys and struggles – is too amazing and fleeting to spend it all absorbed in a screen. Technology can enhance our lives, but it can't be our entire lives. So that's my take on whether our society is becoming too dependent on technology. What do you think? Am I being too optimistic by believing we can strike the right balance? Or is our smartphone obsession dangerously spiraling out of control? I'd love to hear other people's perspectives, especially from parents, teachers, and older adults who didn't grow up immersed in tech the way I have. Just don't message me during my designated "unplugged" hours!篇4Do We Rely Too Much On Technology?Technology is really cool! There are so many awesome gadgets and gizmos that make our lives easier and more fun. My mom has a smartphone that can take pictures, play games, and even talk to her if she asks it a question. My dad uses a laptop forhis work. And I love playing on the Xbox or watching shows on our big flat screen TV. Technology is awesome! But I've been learning in school that technology can also be kind of scary. My teacher says humans are getting too dependent on tech and it's making us lazy and disconnected from the real world. I'm not sure if I totally agree, but she does make some good points. For one thing, we seem to be always staring at screens these days. At home, at school, everywhere I look people have their eyes glued to phones, tablets, computers and TVs. My parents are constantly checking their emails and social media. Even my little sister, who is only 5 years old, knows how to work the iPad better than I do!It makes me worried that we're not spending enough time playing outside, reading books, using our imaginations and talking face-to-face. Don't get me wrong, I love gaming and watching cartoons as much as the next kid. But I also enjoy climbing trees, riding my bike, and using my brain to build awesome forts and inventions out of cardboard boxes. My teacher also said technology is making us lose important life skills like reading maps, doing math in our heads, and even writing with a pen and paper. With GPS and navigation apps, wedon't need to look at real maps anymore. With calculators and math websites, we don't have to know multiplication tables or how to do long division ourselves. And with computers, we barely have to write anything by hand.I have to admit, sometimes even I use autocorrect and predictive text too much when writing book reports and essays. I'm getting lazy at spelling words correctly or putting sentences together properly. I better be careful or I might forget how to write good one day!Another thing my teacher talked about is how we're all getting addicted to our devices. She said most people freak out if they're apart from their phones, tablets or laptops for too long. They get anxious from being unconnected and unable to check social media, text their friends, or look something up online instantly.I can kind of see what she means. My best friend Nathan's family had a "No Tech Sunday" challenge, where they banned all screens for one day. Nathan said by the afternoon he was bored out of his mind and kept trying to sneak peaks at his phone and gaming systems. His parents and little brother were also grumpy from tech withdrawal! My family isn't quite that addicted, but I do notice that nobody really talks at the dinner table anymore. We're all zoned out, watching TV, scrolling through our devices or wearing headphones. Sometimes I try to tell my parents a funny story from school and they barely notice because they're absorbed in their laptops or smartphones. It makes me sad that we don't communicate as much as families used to.On the flip side, my dad would argue that you CAN have too much of a good thing, but that overall technology has helped society tremendously. He works from home a lot using video conferencing and file sharing with colleagues across the world. He says it allows him to be way more productive and efficient than the old days of having to commute to an office, make lots of photocopies, and send things via snail mail or fax.My mom is also a fan of how tech connects people who are far apart. She uses social apps to share pictures and videos of me and my sister with our grandparents and other relatives who live in different states. She says they feel way more involved in our daily lives than if they just got old-fashioned letters and phone calls occasionally.Plus, technology teaches us vital skills for the modern world. Coding, word processing, multimedia presentation - those are allcapabilities we'll need for future careers that didn't even exist a couple of decades ago. If we didn't have computers and the internet, we'd be really behind compared to other kids globally. So I guess technology is sort of a double-edged sword. It helps society progress with awesome new inventions and ways of communicating. But we also have to be careful not to become consumed by it at the expense of losing basic human skills and real-world interactions. At least that's what I've learned from my wise ol' teacher!Moderation is probably the key. As long as we can find the right balance between tech time and unplugged time, we can get the best of both worlds. We can use amazing tools and resources responsibly, without letting them take over our whole lives. We should appreciate technology, but not become overly dependent on it.Because at the end of the day, despite how far science and engineering advance, people are still people. We'll always need face-to-face friendships, imagination, physical activity, and the simple pleasures of just going out to play. Those are things that no amount of tech wizardry can ever totally replace. At least I hope not! Those are just some of my thoughts on whether our society is too technology obsessed these days. What do you guys think? I'd love to hear your opinions too!篇5Are People Too Hooked on Technology?Hi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. My teacher Mrs. Wilson asked us to write about whether we think people are getting too addicted to technology these days. I've given it a lot of thought and here's what I reckon.First off, I have to admit that I really love tech myself! I'm pretty much glued to my tablet whenever I'm not at school. I use it for playing games, watching videos, listening to music and even doing schoolwork sometimes. My parents are always nagging me to get off it and go play outside, but to me it's just so much more fun and interesting than running around at the park.I can understand why grown-ups are worried that kids like me are becoming zombies who can't put our devices down. I see little kids at the mall who are totally zoned out on their parents' phones while the grown-ups shop. And my teenage cousinLauren will literally sit on her phone for hours, scrolling social media and watching TikTok videos. It's like she's in a total trance! But here's the thing – technology is awesome and it's only going to get more amazing. Why would we not want to spend loads of time exploring everything it has to offer? With tech, I can talk to friends whenever I want, play crazy realistic video games, learn about any topic that interests me and get entertainment on tap. Without it, we'd just be stuck reading books and watching boring old TV shows and movies. No thanks!Sure, I get that we shouldn't let tech take over our whole lives. It's important to balance screen time with other activities so we don't become lazy potatoes. I still make an effort to see my friends in person, play sports and spend time with my family without devices around. Moderation is key, as my dad is always telling me.At the same time, I think grown-ups are being a bit hypocritical about kids and tech. Have you seen how zoned out they get on their phones and laptops? My mom is constantly lost in her work emails and smartphone games. My uncle Billy is obsessed with downloading new apps and testing out the latest gadgets. Even my grandparents have gotten into scrolling through Facebook and YouTube! The way I see it, technology is totally embedded into our lives these days, for kids and adults alike. We use it for everything - entertainment, work, education, communication, you name it. Maybe we are a bit hooked, but can you blame us? Technology makes our lives more convenient, fun and connected. I can't imagine going back to the old days when you had to use paper maps and encyclopedias and missed calls if you weren't by a landline! In my opinion, instead of stressing over whether we're addicted, we should focus on using tech in positive ways. At school, we've learned about online safety and controlling our time on games and apps. My parents have installed screen time limits so I can't just binge for hours. I think those are good strategies for making sure we don't go overboard. At the end of the day, I don't think tech is all good or all bad. It's an incredibly powerful tool that can enhance our lives in amazing ways if used wisely. We just need to be mindful of how much time we spend trapped in the digital world and make sure to unplug regularly. As long as we do that, is it really a problem to be hooked on something that keeps us connected, educated and entertained? Those are just my thoughts, but I'd love to hear from other kids and grown-ups! Are you a tech addict too or do you worry about it taking over? Let me know in the comments below. Thanks for reading this far - now if you'll excuse me, I've got a game of Roblox calling my name!。

Technology Addiction: A Modern-DayDilemmaIn the twenty-first century, technology has become an integral part of our daily lives, shaping the way we communicate, learn, work, and even entertain ourselves. With the advent of smartphones, social media, and other digital platforms, we are constantly connected to the virtual world, leading some to question whether we are becoming addicted to technology. The debate on technology addiction is not new, but it has gained prominence in recent years as the use of digital devices and online platforms has exploded. While some argue that technology addiction is a real problem that needs to be addressed, others maintain that it is an overstated issue and that people can easily control their technology use.One of the main reasons why people may become addicted to technology is the constant stream of dopamine, a neurotransmitter that is released when we engage with rewarding activities. Social media, video games, and other digital platforms are designed to be highly engaging andrewarding, triggering dopamine releases that make us want to keep coming back. Let me tell you all about it!Some people say that we are too addicted to technology nowadays. They think that we spend too much time on our phones and computers, playing games and watching videos. I think people are really addicted to technology these days. You can see it everywhere you go. People are always on their phones, checking social media, playing games, or just mindlessly scrolling through the internet. 科技是把双刃剑英语作文范文(精选四篇)第1篇: 科技是把双刃剑英语作文 in the past, technological advancement was generally held to be synonymous with progress, and progress to be synonymous with absolute good. people thought of technology as a solution to problems, not a creator of them. as we took each step forward, technologically speaking, we assumed that we were leaving old difficulties behind and advancing into a new and more pleasant future. this was only partially true. for us technological advancement did solve old problems, it also created new ones.these problems are of various types, each having different implications and requiring different degrees of human decision.one set of problems can be readily identified by looking around. these problems concern the "pollution" of our environment by technology as a result of sudden upsets and imbalances in the physical, economic and social equilibrium. the most obvious aspects of these are the general pollution of our physical environment and the destruction of irreplaceable natural resources.not so obvious as these, but just as painfully significant to some, are the effacement and displacement of jobs which overnight often create large groups of jobless citizens.can technology be used to undo what it has done, replace what it has destroyed or substitute what it has caused to disappear? no one knows. many of us wonder whether all of the sources of pollution have yet been identified, whether they are being arrested and whether they will be prevented from recurring.another set of problems relate to what technological advancement has done to the quality of life. an improved life has not been, unfortunately, either the goal or the chief beneficiary of technological change.too much has happened too fast. in contrast, in the past, things changed slowly enough to accommodate gradual change. people could be aware of it and adjusted to it, and perhaps they could even change it. in the modern world, we must make rapid decisions today, or tomorrow wemay find a whole new world built up. presumably the most significant and potentially explosive issues, however, are those related to methods of human manipulation and control. there is also the new horizon of genetic analysis, manipulation and correction. and there is now the possibility of creating a living substance and decoding and generating a complete organism from the information found within a cell.this is no longer a daydream. some consider these possibilities visions, others nightmares.it is true that incredible powers are now within our hands,or at least within our reach, and the question no longer is "can we do it?" but "how soon can we do it?" our lives have been and are being changed drastically. the point is to take control of technology or to be driven by it. With the development of science and technology, people"s lives have changed greatly. There is no doubt that we benefit a lot from scientific progress in many different ways. For example, the invention of computers has greatly improved work efficiency and helped to complete many difficult tasks, which was impossible in the past. In addition, new discoveries and medical technologies improve people"s health and enable them to enjoy a longer life. The progress of science has also expanded the ability of human beings to explore the world around them, from space to the deepseabed. Thanks to the development of science and technology, human society has continued to prosper and become more convenient. However, like a double-edged sword, science can also cause problems. As we all know, nuclear energy, an environmentally friendly energy, can also develop into a weapon of mass destruction. In addition, human cloning is expected to cure many serious diseases and save lives, which may bring disaster social morality. As a matter of fact, most scientific improvements are at the cost of our precious natural resources, and the environment we live in has caused great harm. Therefore, how to correctly deal with the progress of science and technology is worthy of our careful study.

因此,由于学习者对大学英语写作反馈的态finally, it is undeniable that continuously developing technologieshave brought tremendous benefits, especially in learning area. learning has in many ways become easier than has ever been before. take learning english for example, in the past, few students owned tape recorders, and learning materials were scarce as well. but today, tape recorders get more and more inexpensive, and diversified learning materials are readily available. on the other hand, new devices, such as mp3 or md players, are offered in market, and relevant learning materials (mp3 files) are easily and freely downloadable from the internet. admittedly, science revolution has some negative effects under certain circumstances. for instance, the new technology can harm our environment. however, after balancing all the pros and cons, the above-mentioned disadvantage seems to be minor.【篇三:大学合并英语作文】大学合并是目前话题人们对大学合并有不同的态度你的看法短短几年,中国数百所高校走向全并。
