关于火灾如何逃生的英语作文高中全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1How to Get Out if There is a FireFire is really scary! The flames can burn you and the smoke can make it hard to breathe. But if there is a fire, it's important to stay calm and know what to do to get out safely. Here are the steps for escaping a fire:If you smell smoke or hear a fire alarm, don't hide under the bed or in a closet! You need to get out of the building right away. Fires spread quickly and the smoke can hurt your lungs.Feel the door with the back of your hand before opening it. If it is hot, don't open it! The fire might be right outside. If the door is cool, open it just a crack to check if there is smoke. If you see smoke, crawl low under the smoke to get out.If there is no smoke, leave the building right away using the stairs. Never use the elevator in a fire! It could stop working and trap you inside. When leaving the building, hold onto the handrail so you don't fall.Once outside, go to your family's meeting place and call 911 from a safe area. The firefighters have protective gear and can go inside to rescue anyone still trapped. Don't go back inside for anything - even a pet! Getting out safely is what matters most.If there is too much smoke to crawl out safely, stuff towels or blankets under the door to keep smoke out. Open a window and wave a bright cloth to signal for help. If there is a phone, call 911 and tell them you are trapped. It's so important to have a home fire escape plan and to practice it with your family! You should know two ways out of every room and a meeting place outside. This way, if there is a fire, you'll be ready and know just what to do.At school we also have fire drills so we can practice lining up quickly and leaving the building in an orderly way. We have to take every alarm seriously and assume there really is a fire. My teacher tells us to leave everything behind and just focus on getting out fast and safely.I really hope I never have to be in a fire. But if I am, I'll try to remember to stay calm, get low under the smoke, feel doors before opening them, and get outside to our meeting place fast. Calling 911 once I'm out is important too so firefighters can come and rescue anyone trapped.Fires are terrifying, but knowing exactly what to do can help keep you safe. Having a plan, practicing drills, and staying calm are the keys to escaping a fire. I'll make sure my family has a home fire escape plan and that we all know how to get out quickly. Being prepared could save our lives!篇2Fire Safety: How to Get Out Alive!Hi everyone! My name is Timmy and I'm going to tell you all about fire safety and what to do if there is a fire. This is really important stuff, so pay close attention!First, let's talk about preventing fires. Fires need three things to start - heat, fuel, and oxygen. We can't get rid of oxygen because we need to breathe. But we can be careful with heat sources like matches, lighters, stoves, and candles. Never play with matches or lighters! And always blow out candles before leaving a room.Fuel means anything that can burn, like paper, wood, gasoline, and clothes. Don't leave stuff that can burn too close to heat sources. Also, don't overload electrical outlets with too many plugs, as that can cause a spark.Every home needs working smoke alarms on every floor and near all sleeping areas. My dad checks ours every month by pressing the test button. If the alarm makes its loud beeping noise, that means it's working right. If it doesn't beep, we need new batteries.Okay, now for the big one - what if there actually is a fire?! First, don't hide! Get out fast. Crawl low under the smoke to breathe cleaner air. Feel doors with the back of your hand before opening them - if the door is hot, use another way out.Once you're out, call 9-1-1 from a neighbor's house or a cell phone away from the fire. Don't hide from firefighters when they get there - wave and call out so they can help you. Only firefighters with proper equipment should go back inside for people or pets.At night, fires are extra scary because of the darkness. Practice your home fire drill at night too, so you'll know two ways out of every room in case one exit is blocked by flames or smoke. Pick a safe meeting place outside, like a tree or mailbox, so once you're out, you'll know if anyone is trapped inside still. If there's a fire and you can't get out, stuff cracks around door with towels or clothes to keep smoke out. Open windowsand wave a bright cloth to signal for help. If there's a phone, call 9-1-1 and report the emergency. Firefighters are on their way!Even if your clothes catch fire (yikes!), you can survive by stopping, dropping to the ground, and rolling over and over to put out the flames. Cover your face and roll until the fire is completely out.So there you have it - pay attention to heat sources, keep fuel sources away, make sure you have working smoke alarms, have two ways out of every room planned, crawl low under smoke, and know how to signal for help if trapped. Oh yeah, and stop, drop, and roll if your clothes catch fire!Being prepared and knowing what to do can help prevent fires and save lives. Practice fire drills at home with your family, and stay fire safe out there! Thanks for listening, be careful, and stay safe!篇3Fire Safety and How to Escape a FireHi friends! Today I want to talk to you about something very important - fire safety. Fires can be really scary and dangerous, but if we know what to do, we can stay safe. Let me tell you all about how to escape if there is a fire.First, it's important to have a home fire escape plan. You should sit down with your family and make a plan for how you will get out of your home if there is a fire. Pick two ways out of every room, like the door and a window. Make sure windows open easily to get out. You can practice your escape plan by having home fire drills! If there is a fire, you have to get out fast. Don't try to grab anything or pick up toys and pets. Those can be replaced - you can't! As soon as you hear a smoke alarm or see smoke or flames, you need to react quickly. Get low and go under the smoke to get fresh air. Smoke rises, so the cleanest air will be near the floor.Shout "FIRE!" very loudly to wake up your family as you exit. Don't hide from fire - that makes it harder for firefighters to find you. Once you're out, call 911 from a safe place like a neighbor's house. Never go back inside a burning building, it's just too dangerous. If there is smoke in your home, check doors with the back of your hand before opening them. If the door is hot, don't open it - the fire could be right outside. Find another way out through awindow. If you have to exit through smoke, get low and go under the smoke to the exit as quickly as possible, covering your nose and mouth with a cloth.Let's talk about what to do if your clothes catch on fire - stop, drop, and roll! Stop where you are, drop to the ground, cover your face with your hands, and roll over and over to put out the flames. Practice this so you'll know what to do. Running will only make the fire burn faster.Windows are a way out if you can't use the door. If the window is stuck, you can open it safely by first taking off any window screens. For a double-hung window, unlock it, raise the lower sash, and let it drop - that will free the upper sash so you can open it from the top. Take a pillow or heavy blanket to cushion your landing on the ground outside. Don't jump unless you absolutely have to - try making an escape ladder from tied sheets or clothes first. It's smart to learn two ways out of every room in case one exit is blocked by fire. Always sleep with your bedroom doors closed - this prevents fire and smoke from spreading into the room while you sleep. If there is smoke, stay low and move under it to the exit. Feel all doors before opening them - use the backof your hand to check if they are hot. If so, don't open! There could be flames on the other side.Once you're safely outside, move away from the home and meet at a pre-planned meeting spot like a tree or mailbox down the street. Call 911 from outside. Never go back inside a burning building - it's just too dangerous even for trained firefighters. And remember, having working smoke alarms doubles your chances of surviving a fire! Test them monthly and change the batteries twice a year.I know all this fire safety stuff might seem scary, but being prepared and knowing what to do can help keep you safe. Practice your home fire escape plan with your family. Learn two ways out of every room. Get low and go under smoke. Stop, drop and roll if clothes catch fire. Call 911 once you're outside. Following these rules could save your life!Fires are no joke, but if we are well prepared and know how to react, we can escape safely. I really hope you'll never need to use these tips, but it's so important to be ready just in case. Sit down with your family, make an escape plan, and practice it! Being prepared and staying calm is the key to getting out quickly and safely. Don't be afraid to ask an adult if you have any otherquestions about fire safety. Let's all work together to stay fire safe!篇4Fire Safety and How to EscapeHi friends! Today I want to talk to you about something really important - fire safety and how to escape if there is a fire. Fires can be super scary, but if you know what to do, you can stay safe.First, let's talk about preventing fires from happening in the first place. Fires need three things to start - heat, fuel, and oxygen. Taking away any one of those three things will put out the fire. The heat could be from matches, lighters, stoves, fireplaces, or even just rubbing things together to make friction. Fuel is anything that can burn like wood, paper, fabrics, or gases. And oxygen is in the air all around us.A lot of fires are started by accidents, like leaving the stove on, playing with matches or lighters, having frayed electrical cords, or not putting out campfires or candles all the way. That's why it's so important for you kids to be really careful around anything that could start a fire. Never play with matches orlighters, don't cook without a grown-up, and keep space heaters or candles far away from things that could burn. But even if you're super careful, fires can still happen. That's why you need to have a plan for how to escape if there is a fire in your home. The most important thing is to get out fast! Don't try to grab toys or valuables - just get yourself out.Your family should have a home fire escape plan and practice it twice a year. Pick a meeting place outside like the end of the driveway or a neighbor's house. That way you can count heads and make sure everyone got out safely. If there's a fire, yell "FIRE!" really loud to warn everyone. If there is smoke, stay low under the smoke by crawling. The cleanest air will be near the floor. Feel doors before you open them by using the back of your hand. If the door is hot, don't open it - the fire could be right outside. Try another way out.If your clothes catch fire, stop, drop to the ground, and roll over and over to put out the flames. Cover your face with your hands to protect it. Once the fire is out, cool any burns with cool water and get medical help right away.Windows can be another way out in a fire. If you're on the ground floor, you may be able to open the window and get outthat way if it's not blocked. If you're higher up, wait for the firefighters to rescue you safely with their ladders and equipment. Yell or wave a bright cloth out the window to signal where you are. Don't jump!Once you're out of the burning building, move away from it and go to your family's designated meeting place. Call 9-1-1 from a safe place to get help from the fire department. Don't ever go back inside a burning building for any reason - that's a job just for the firefighters who have protective gear and training.I know all this fire safety stuff might seem scary, but being prepared is the best way to stay safe. Make sure your family has working smoke alarms on every level and practices your home escape plan. Talk to your grown-ups about making your home fire-safe too.If we're all really careful with anything that could cause a fire, and we know exactly what to do if there is a fire, we can stay safe.I feel so much better knowing my family has a fire escape plan. Do you have one at your house? Let me know if you have any other questions!篇5Fire Safety and How to Escape a FireHi friends! Today I want to talk to you about something very important - fire safety and what to do if there is a fire. Fires can be really scary, but if you know what to do, you can stay safe.First, let's talk about preventing fires. Fires need three things to start - heat, fuel, and oxygen. By taking away any of those three things, you can stop a fire from happening. Heat sources like stoves, candles, and lighters need to be handled carefully. Fuel sources like paper, wood, and gasoline should be stored properly. And you always want to have good airflow and ventilation.Even if you are super careful, fires can still sometimes happen. That's why it's important to have a plan for escaping if there is a fire. At home, you should have smoke alarms installed and make sure they work properly. My mom tests our smoke alarms every month. If a smoke alarm goes off or you see smoke or flames, you need to get out fast! Don't try to grab belongings or valuables. Don't hide in a closet or under a bed. Just get out as quickly as you can.If there is smoke, get low and crawl under the smoke to breathe cleaner air. Feel doors before you open them. If they are hot, use another way out. Once you are outside, call 911 from a safe place like a neighbor's house. You should have an escape plan from every room in your house. Know at least two ways out - a door and a window. Pick a meeting place outside like a big tree or mailbox so everyone knows where to meet up. Practice your escape plan at least twice a year.At school, we also practice fire drills regularly. When the alarm goes off, my class lines up quickly and quietly. We follow our teacher out of the building to our designated area outside. We stay together and wait for instructions. If your clothes ever catch fire, you need to stop, drop, and roll. Stop where you are, drop to the ground covering your face, and roll back and forth to smother the flames.Sometimes smoke can make it hard to see or breathe inside a building. If you can't get out, stuff towels or jackets in the door cracks to keep smoke out. Open a window and wave a bright cloth to signal for help. Call 911 and let them know you are trapped.Firefighters are real life heroes who are trained to rescue people from fires. They wear special protective gear and use tools like hoses, ladders, and axes. Firefighters tell us to have an escape plan and practice it. Listen to their instructions during a fire emergency.I hope you are never in a situation where there is a fire, but if you are, now you know what to do. Have a home escape plan, know two ways out, and get low under smoke. Once you are safely outside, call 911 and wait for help. Stay fire smart and stay safe!篇6Fire Safety and How to Escape a FireHi friends! Today I want to talk to you about something really important - fire safety. Fires can be super dangerous and scary, but if we know what to do, we can stay safe. Let me tell you all about fires and how to get out quickly if one ever happens at your house or school.First, let's talk about what causes fires. Fires need three things to start burning - heat, fuel, and oxygen. The heat could come from matches, lighters, stoves, heaters, or even just rubbing two sticks together really fast. The fuel is anything thatcan burn like wood, paper, plastic, or gas. And the oxygen comes from the air around us. If you take away any one of those three things, the fire will go out.Fires can spread so fast and get really big and hot! The smoke can make it hard to breathe and see too. That's why it's so important to have a plan for getting out if there's a fire. At my house, my mom and dad make sure we have working smoke alarms on every floor. The alarms will beep really loudly if they sense smoke, letting us know there could be a fire.We also have a few fire extinguishers around the house, in the kitchen, basement, and garage. My dad showed me how to use them by aiming at the base of the fire and squeezingthe lever. But firefighters say we should only use extinguishers on small fires, and get out of the house as fast as we can if the fire is big.My family also has a home fire escape plan. We picked a meeting spot outside, at the big tree in our front yard, so we can count that everyone got out safely. We practiced checking all the rooms and closing doors behind us to keep smoke out on our way out. It's so important to get out first, and then call 911 from outside. Don't try to get pets or precious items - just get yourselves out!At night, we sleep with our bedroom doors closed to keep smoke out while we're sleeping. We also keep keys to any locked doors near the exits so we can open them easily. My parents remind me to crawl low under the smoke if I have to get through a smoky area, since smoke rises to the ceiling. If your clothes ever catch fire, you have to stop, drop to the ground, and roll around to smother the flames. Cover your face with your hands too. Running will just make the fire bigger. Once the flames are out, cool any burns with cool water and call for help.At school, we practice fire drills so we know the best ways to exit the building if the alarm goes off. We have to line up quickly and calmly, and follow our teacher outside to the field where we can line up by class. No pushing or shoving, and no stopping for anything! We always stay with our class and wait to be counted.Firefighters have to wear special gear like helmets, masks, and big heavy coats to protect them from the heat and smoke when they go inside burning buildings. The masks help them breathe clean air. They use hoses to spray water and foam to put out the fires. Firefighters are real life superheroes who risk their lives to save people and homes! So in recap - to stay safe from fires, we need working smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and a home escape plan. The most important things are to get yourselves out first if there's a fire, stay low from the smoke, and call 911 once you're outside. At school, listen for alarms and follow teachers' instructions to exit calmly and quickly.I hope you'll never have to experience a real fire, but now you know what to do to get to safety. Having a plan and practicing it could save your life! Let's all be fire safety smart. Thanks for listening, and stay safe out there!。

Time Passes SlowlyTime passes slowly up here in the mountains,We sit beside bridges and walk beside fountains, Catch the wild fishes that float through the stream, Time passes slowly when you're lost in a dream.Once I had a sweetheart, she was fine and good-lookin', We sat in her kitchen while her mama was cookin', Stared out the window to the stars high above,Time passes slowly when you're searchin' for love. Ain't no reason to go in a wagon to town,Ain't no reason to go to the fair.Ain't no reason to go up, ain't no reason to go down, Ain't no reason to go anywhere.Time passes slowly up here in the daylight,We stare straight ahead and try so hard to stay right, Like the red rose of summer that blooms in the day, Time passes slowly and fades away.《溪谷下游》你的气息是甜蜜的眼睛像天空中的两颗宝石。

With a little bit of hard work and dedication, you can definitely improve your scores and ace that next test!Remember, it's okay to get a low score sometimes. What's important is how you bounce back from it and keep pushing yourself to do better. You got this!篇6How to Get Higher Grades in SchoolHey guys, do you ever feel like you're trying really hard in school but your grades just aren't getting any better? Well, don'tworry, I've got some tips for you on how to turn things around and start getting those high grades you've been dreaming of.First things first, it's important to pay attention in class. I know it can be hard to stay focused sometimes, especially when your teacher is talking about something that seems boring. But trust me, if you listen carefully and take good notes, you'll be much better prepared for tests and quizzes.Next, make sure you do all your homework. I know, I know, it's no fun to sit down and do a bunch of math problems or write an essay when you could be playing video games or hanging out with your friends. But doing your homework is super important because it helps you practice what you've learned in class and it shows your teacher that you care about your grades.Another thing you can do to improve your grades is to study regularly. Instead of cramming for a test at the last minute, try studying a little bit every day. This way, the information will sink in better and you'll be more likely to remember it when it comes time to take the test. And don't forget to ask for help if you need it. If there's something you don't understand, don't be afraid to raise your hand and ask your teacher for clarification. You can also study with a friend or ask your parents for help. So, remember, if you want to get better grades, pay attention in class, do your homework, study regularly, and don't be afraid to ask for help. With a little bit of effort and determination, you can turn those low grades into high ones in no time. Good luck!。

冀教版三年级上英语课文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Unit 6: My DayHello everyone! I'm Lin Lin and I'm going to tell you all about my daily routine. Every morning, my mom wakes me up at 7o'clock. "Time to get up, Lin Lin!" she calls from the kitchen. I get out of bed and put on my slippers and robe. In the bathroom, I brush my teeth and wash my face with soap and water. After getting dressed in my school uniform, I go to the kitchen for breakfast. My favorite is congee with pickles and peanuts! My mom also gives me a glass of warm milk. I drink it all up - it's so good for me and gives me energy for the day.Once I've eaten, I put on my backpack and walk to school. It's only a 10 minute walk from my house. I always look both ways before crossing the street. Safety first! When I get to school, I go to my classroom and sit at my desk. My best friend Mei Mei's desk is right next to mine. Our first class is English at 8am. My English teacher's name is Mrs. Wang and she's really nice. We start by singing the "Hello" song:"Hello, hello, can you clap your hands?Hello, hello, can you clap your hands? Can you stretch up high? Can you bend down low?Hello, hello, can you clap your hands?"It's a fun way to practice English! Then we review vocabulary words by playing games. Last week we learned words like "book, pen, table, chair, backpack, pencil case, ruler". We have to listen carefully and point to the right picture when Mrs. Wang holds it up.After English, we have Chinese class at 9am. We're learning to read and write new characters every week. It's hard work but I try my best. I really want to be able to read all the good books in the library! At 10 o'clock, we get a 30 minute break time to play outside. My favorite games are skip rope and dragonfly chasing.Math class is at 10:30. We've been learning how to add and subtract bigger numbers. I have to borrow sometimes when thedigits are different sizes. As long as I take it step-by-step, I can figure it out. I like math because it makes my brain work hard. For lunch at 11:30, I eat the meal my mom packed for me. She always includes my favorite foods like dumplings, eggs, and vegetables. My friend Mei Mei and I share our food sometimes to get a taste of everything. After eating, we have a 1 hour rest period where we can read books quietly at our desks. In the afternoon, we have science, gym, and music class. I love singing and dancing to the music! My favorite song is "If You're Happy and You Know It". We learned the hand movements to go along with each verse.School ends at 3:30pm and I walk home with Mei Mei. We always take the same route together. When I get home, I have a snack like fruit or yogurt, then I start my homework. I work really hard so I can make my parents proud. Sometimes the work is too hard though and I have to ask them for help after dinner. At 7pm, I get ready for bed by taking a warm bath and putting on my pajamas. Then I read a book or do a puzzle until 8pm. That's my bedtime! I snuggle up under my blanket as my mom tucks me in and gives me a goodnight kiss. Then I go to sleep, ready to re-energize for another fun day tomorrow! That's my typical daily routine as a 3rd grade student. Some days we have special activities like arts and crafts, or a field trip. But most days follow a schedule like this one. Being a student sure keeps me busy! But I love learning new things every day. Well, thanks for listening everyone! Let me know if you have any other questions.篇2My Fantastic English ClassHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm a third grade student.I absolutely love my English class this year. Learning English is so much fun, and my teacher Mrs. Wang makes it even more exciting. Let me tell you all about it!We just started a brand new unit called "My Day." It's all about the different activities we do throughout the day. The first lesson was on daily routines. We learned so many useful words and phrases like "wake up," "brush my teeth," "get dressed," "have breakfast" and more. Repeating the words and actions helped them stick in my brain. Then we did an activity where we put picture cards in the correct order to show a typical morning routine. I got everything right except I put "make the bed" before "brush my teeth." Sillyme! Mrs. Wang complimented me for trying my best. She's so nice and encouraging.Next, we learned to tell the time in English. I have to admit, this one was pretty tricky at first. Words like "quarter," "half" and saying "six fifteen" instead of "six one five" took some getting used to. But we sang songs, did fun clock worksheets, and played games like "What Time Is It Mr. Wolf?" That really helped cement the concepts. My favorite part was when we did role plays in pairs. I got to pretend to be a mom waking up my stuffed dog, making sure he brushed his teeth, got dressed, and so on. We all had a good giggle at the silly situations. English class is never boring! For homework, we had to draw pictures showing our typical daily routine and write the times below each one. I drew myself waking up at 7:00 am, eating breakfast at 7:30 am, and all my other activities up until bedtime at 9:00 pm. My mom helped me spell some of the words correctly. I was proud to show my homework to the class. That's just one of the units we've covered so far this semester. We've also learned vocabulary about different foods, how to express likes and dislikes, and even basic phrases formaking simple purchases. It's amazing how quickly I'm picking up conversational English through fun, interactive lessons. What I love most is that Mrs. Wang makes an effort to bring English to life through games, role plays, singing, watching short videos and more. She also encourages us to practice with our parents at home. Last month, my dad and I started putting sticky notes with English words all over the house. Whenever I walk by the fridge or see the sofa, I get a little English review!I have to admit, English seemed kind of intimidating at first. But Mrs. Wang is so patient and makes sure none of us feel any anxiety or pressure. She says the most important thing is to have fun while building a strong foundation. I couldn't agree more!Sometimes we get spoiled with things like educational English videos, books, or little prizes and treats when we do well. On my birthday, Mrs. Wang event gave me a cuteEnglish-Chinese dictionary bookmark. It made me feel so special.I'm really making great progress thanks to Mrs. Wang's effective teaching methods that make English feel like playtime rather than hard work. I find myself thinking more and more in English, using the words I've learned without even realizing it. Just yesterday, I asked my mom, "Can I have an apple for mysnack, please?" in complete English sentences. She was stunned and so proud of me.English class has become my favorite period of the day. I'm excited to walk into that bright, colorful classroom and see what new games, songs or activities Mrs. Wang has lined up for us. I can't wait to learn more vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and conversation skills.Who knows, maybe I'll even become an English teacher someday so I can pass on my love for the language! But for now, I'm just a third grade student having a blast in Mrs. Wang's English class. I've made so many wonderful memories and learned so much already. I can't wait to see what other adventures and lessons await!篇3My Third Grade English TextbookHi friends! Today I want to tell you all about the awesome English textbook I'm using this year in 3rd grade. It's called "Hip Hip Hooray" and it's published by the Hebei Education Press. I'm really enjoying learning English from this book! The book has 8 units and each unit has 4 lessons. Every lesson teaches us new words, phrases, songs, chants, anddialogues. The lessons have really fun and colorful pictures that help me understand and remember what I'm learning. In Unit 1, we started by learning basic greeting expressions like "Good morning", "Hello", and "How are you?" We also learned to say colors, numbers up to 20, and names of classroom objects like book, pen, ruler, etc. My favorite part was the cute cartoon characters Hippy and Harry who teach us the lessons. They're so silly and always make me laugh!Unit 2 was about toys and hobbies. I learned the names of lots of different toys like doll, robot, basketball, and puzzle. We also learned action verbs like play, jump, run, and sing. There were fun songs and chants that helped me practice the new vocabulary. My mom says repeating the songs and chants really improved my pronunciation. In Unit 3, we moved on to talking about our families. We learned words like mother, father, sister, brother, grandma, and grandpa. We also learned to describe people using adjectives like tall, short, young, and old. It was interesting learning how to say our ages too. Did you know in English we say "I'm 8 years old" instead of saying "I have 8 years"?Unit 4 was my favorite - it was all about animals! We learned the names of so many awesome animals like elephant, kangaroo, panda, and dolphin. We also learned what sounds different animals make, like "neigh" for a horse and "oink" for a pig. There were really engaging stories and videos about animals that made me excited to learn more English. In Unit 5, we switched to learning about food. I thought it would be boring but it was actually super cool! We learned the names of fruits, vegetables, drinks, and different kinds of meals. My favorite new words were "popcorn", "lollipop", and "milkshake"! There were fun activities where we had to group the foods and say if they were healthy or unhealthy. I realized I need to eat more veggies!Unit 6 taught us about places around town - words like park, hospital, bank, and post office. We learned how to give simple directions using phrases like "go straight", "turn left/right", and "cross the street". We even did a fun roleplay activity pretending to be giving directions to a tourist who was lost. It helped me practice speaking more English. In Unit 7, the topic was weather and seasons. I thought this would be easy since I already knew words like "hot", "cold", "rain", and "snow". But then we started learning phrases like "partly cloudy" and "humid". We also learned fun facts aboutdifferent seasons around the world. Did you know the seasons are opposite in the northern and southern hemispheres? So cool! Finally, Unit 8 was all about hobbies and activities we like to do for fun. We learned verbs like "read", "watch", "listen", "draw", "collect", and more. I was really excited to learn the word "skateboard" because that's one of my favorite hobbies! We had to do presentations talking about our own hobbies and what we like to do in our free time.Overall, I'm having a blast learning English from the "Hip Hip Hooray" textbook. The units have interesting and practical topics that make me excited to learn more vocabulary, grammar, and conversation skills. The lessons include fun games, songs, chants, and activities that make it easy to remember what I'm learning. My teacher is awesome too. She's really encouraging and patient when we make mistakes. She also gives us opportunities to practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing English during every class. I can feel my English ability improving more and more each week!I'd definitely recommend the "Hip Hip Hooray" textbook to any other 3rd graders learning English. It's engaging, interactive, and helping me build a solid foundation in the English language.I can't wait to continue learning more cool stuff from this book. Thanks for reading about my fun English learning experience!。

How low can you go?
Simon Fraser University introduces grade worse than F
All right, quickly, from PETS to plagiarism, F is no longer the mark of true duncery. Now you can do worse. A university in Canada recently introduced a grade called FD, which stands for Fred Dearth. Actually I am kidding. It stands for failure with academic dishonesty, and indeed, it’s a notch below an F, Simon Fraser University, named after Simon Fraser, FYI, cooked up the new grade to deal with cheaters, including students who use online essay writing companies as well as high-tech devices like cell phones and spoons during exams. The FD grade would stay on the student’s transcripts during their time at college, and for two years after graduation, translation blur ? black mark. Really? Yeah, which really isn't much of a translation at all.
I, I, I don’t understand!
Never been more clear to me! Oh my god!
Paul, what you think this, it’s, it’s this new grade, a good addition to the overall grading scale? Yeah, I wanna know where this was when I was in school because I would get a D or an F! Walk out of the class with my head down feeling like a loser. And now, there is actually people that are going to be beneath that, so those guys can feel better about it, so, um, you know, and how bad does it look if you go into like a job interview, and you have an FD on there. What will you even say to the guy? How much of a loser do you have to be?
It says he's resourceful, yeah.
It does and could be seen as a good sign in there. And actually you would go the extra mile include cheating, but I want to ask you , Julie, what do you make of this, do you think this is fair, because we didn't have this option so it’s unfair to them now, right?
It’s totally unfair, but it’s Canadian, and there’s a Canadian sitting around I don’t know if it’s my imagination or not.
Ok, congratulations.
Thanks. But, um, here is the thing, there is something that I came up with the context grading,(yeah,) where you would have a grade and instead of like what they do, you would get a grade like that, let’s say I got a D.
right!
You would have DBBM, so if I got a D, then I could have context, you can explain it to your future employers, your parents. DBBM,ur,D, due to boyfriend breaking up with me.
Oh……
Oh, always blame it on the dudes.
Yeah……
That’s always your fault.
Yeah, well I’m not surprised. Ron, what do you make of this?
Well, ur, you know, I have been both a college student, and I’ve taught college courses, so I see this from both sides, where I think it’s a hypocritical use, you know ,university’s acting like, It’s only the actions of the students that can make a grade, (right,) non-legit! First, I..
So what you were saying is you manipulated your grades?
Yes, first of all, ok, A, B, they should get an AB, A, but…[expletive]
Interesting, hahaha…….
AS, A, but, you have to stoke up some 60-year-old lady professor, you know, AA, A but…Yeah, it’s OK!
Alcoholic guy, he has a grade of A, but seriously idiots...
Who knew divide was such a party. Was there anything you gonna make that place?… good Lord. (耳鸣,听不出来)
That way, all right, if this next segment…。
