教师让学生依照图画先推测绕口令的意思，并将其中动词的过去式（bit,made）标出，教师对绕口令的内容和生词进行讲解。
然后先快速地读一遍绕口令做示范，请学生注意听并仿照，再让学生自己练习，最后比比看读得最快最好（二）课文导入热身终止后，教师对学生说：“My friend will visit me soon.I bought something for him.”教师拿出事先预备好的图片，例如：一张床、一辆自行车等，将物品放在自己的面前，告诉学生：“I bought a bed and a bike for him.”教师再拿出一本书和一张CD，放在离自己较远的桌子上告诉学生：“I am going to buy a book and a CD for him.”教师连续对学生说：“接下来让我们看看Simon的父母为Daming的到来预备了些什么。
以此引出本课的学习。
（三）、课文教学教师将本课的挂图贴在黑板上，播放课文录音，出现SB第二单元活动1，请学生边听边看挂图。
听完后，引导学生说出课文的内容是Daming的表哥Simon寄给他的一封信。
再次播放录音，逐句停顿，请学生跟读。
现在教师要指着挂图，让学生熟悉书写信件经常用的格式和语言。
