First, you have 3 minutes to read through a passage that is 250 to 300 words long; Then the passage will disappear temporarily while you listen to a short lecture on the same topic. ( The passage will reappear later and be available to you during the writing time)
After the lecture, you will both hear and see the writing question. Then you have 20 minutes to plan, write and revise your response. The reading passage is available during this period.
