一、教学内容分析:
1、let’s try 部分:
本部分通过Mike与陈杰讨论旧照片的情景呈现描述人物变化的核心句型:Before, I/he/she/it was/wasn’t... Now, I/she/he/it am/is(not)...帮助学生通过听力活动获得let’s talk板块的人物及场景信息,为进入正式的对话做好准备。
2、Let’s talk部分:
本部分学习的核心句型是:Before,I...,Now, I am...等,教材通过Mike、陈杰和John三个小朋友一起在看老照片,谈论自己的变化来让学生感知上述句型的语义及语用情景,学会运用Before,I...,Now, I am...等描述自己与他人的变化。
二、教学目标:
1、let’s try 部分:
本部分的教学目标是:学生能听懂Mike与陈杰谈论的是什么,以及通过谈话信息猜测Mike所在的年级。
2、Let’s talk部分:
本部分的教学目标是:学生能理解对话大意,并能正确朗读所学对话(包含正确的语调和意群停顿);能在图片的帮助下,在情景中恰当运用句型I/he/she/it was...before,I/she/he/it did/didn’t before. Now, I/she/he/it am/is...yong 3-5句话描述自己与他人在性格、爱好、行为方面的变化。

(一)warm--up(热身)
1、Greeting and free--talk.
Hello, boys and girls. Last Sunday was Tree--plating Day. I planted a tree On Tree--plating Day. What did you do last weekend?(学生回答)引出Let’s try部分:Mike and Chen Jie are looking at the old photos and talking. What are they talking about? Please answer the questions.

2.听录音,回答问题。
(二)presentation(呈现)
1、PPT呈现赫本年轻时和年老时的两张照片,与学生谈论两张照片中赫本本人的变化。
(学生能够直接观察和说出的应该是young和old,教师需要引导学生用上before和now,bing 板书单词different和changes,PPT释义)
2、Mike, John and Chen Jie are looking at the old photos and talking about their changes. Please listen to the tape and match.
3、教师播放录音,PPT呈现连线活动。
4、再次播放录音,组织学生打开教材跟读课文。
(板书Mike和John的对比)
5、小组内细读对话,找出、讨论不懂的词句,教师予以解释。
6、组织学生在小组内分角色朗读并表演对话。
