When the FPGA is in Master Serial mode, it generates a configuration clock that drives the PROM. With CF High, a short access time after CE and OE are enabled, data is available on the PROM DATA (D0) pin that is connected to the FPGA DIN pin. New data is available a short access time after each rising clock edge. The FPGA generates the appropriate number of clock pulses to complete the configuration.

General DescriptionThe LC320WXN is a Color Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Display with an integral External Electrode Fluorescent Lamp(EEFL) backlight system. The matrix employs a-Si Thin Film Transistor as the active element. It is a transmissive type display operating in the normally black mode. It has a 31.51 inch diagonally measured active display area with W XGA resolution (768 vertical by 1366 horizontal pixel array). Each pixel is divided into Red, Green and Blue sub-pixels or dots which are arranged in vertical stripes. Gray scale or the luminance of the sub-pixel color is determined with a 8-bit gray scale signal for each dot, thus presenting a palette of more than 16.7M(true) colors. It has been designed to apply the 8-bit 1-port LVDS interface. It is intended to support LCD TV, PCTV where high brightness, super wide viewing angle, high color gamut, high color depth and fast response time are important. The following items are maximum values which, if exceeded, may cause faulty operation or damage to the LCD module.Table 1. Mounting Precautions(1)You must mount a module using specified mounting holes (Details refer to the drawings).(2) You should consider the mounting structure so that uneven force (ex. Twisted stress) is not applied to themodule. And the case on which a module is mounted should have sufficient strength so that external force is not transmitted directly to the module.(3) Please attach the surface transparent protective plate to the surface in order to protect the polarizer.Transparent protective plate should have sufficient strength in order to the resist external force.(4) You should adopt radiation structure to satisfy the temperature specification.(5) Acetic acid type and chlorine type materials for the cover case are not desirable because the formergenerates corrosive gas of attacking the polarizer at high temperature and the latter causes circuit break by electro-chemical reaction.(6) Do not touch, push or rub the exposed polarizers with glass, tweezers or anything harder than HBpencil lead. And please do not rub with dust clothes with chemical treatment.Do not touch the surface of polarizer for bare hand or greasy cloth.(Some cosmetics are detrimental to the polarizer.)(7) When the surface becomes dusty, please wipe gently with absorbent cotton or other soft materials likechamois soaks with petroleum benzine. Normal-hexane is recommended for cleaning the adhesives used to attach front / rear polarizers. Do not use acetone, toluene and alcohol because they cause chemical damage to the polarizer. * Panel push force can be guaranteed under 5kgf / φ10mm(8) Wipe off saliva or water drops as soon as possible. Their long time contact with polarizer causesdeformations and color fading.(9) Do not open the case because inside circuits do not have sufficient strength.9-2. Operating Precautions(1) The spike noise causes the mis-operation of circuits. It should be lower than following voltage:V=±200mV(Over and under shoot voltage)(2) Response time depends on the temperature.(In lower temperature, it becomes longer.)(3) Brightness depends on the temperature. (In lower temperature, it becomes lower.)And in lower temperature, response time(required time that brightness is stable after turned on) becomes longer.(4) Be careful for condensation at sudden temperature change. Condensation makes damage to polarizer orelectrical contacted parts. And after fading condensation, smear or spot will occur.(5) When fixed patterns are displayed for a long time, remnant image is likely to occur.(6) Module has high frequency circuits. Sufficient suppression to the electromagnetic interference shall bedone by system manufacturers. Grounding and shielding methods may be important to minimized the interference.(7) Please do not give any mechanical and/or acoustical impact to LCM. Otherwise, LCM can’t be operatedits full characteristics perfectly.(8) A screw which is fastened up the steels should be a machine screw.(if not, it causes metallic foreign material and deal LCM a fatal blow)(9)Please do not set LCD on its edge.(10) It is recommended to avoid the signal cable and conductive material over the inverter transformerfor it can cause the abnormal display and temperature rising.(11) Partial darkness may happen during 3~5 minutes when LCM is operated initially in condition thatluminance is under 40% at low temperature (under 5℃). This phenomenon which disappears naturally after 3~5 minutes is not a problem about reliability but LCD characteristic.9-3. Electrostatic Discharge ControlSince a module is composed of electronic circuits, it is not strong to electrostatic discharge. Make certain that treatment persons are connected to ground through wrist band etc. And don’t touch interface pin directly.9-4. Precautions for Strong Light ExposureStrong light exposure causes degradation of polarizer and color filter.9-5. StorageWhen storing modules as spares for a long time, the following precautions are necessary.(1) Store them in a dark place. Do not expose the module to sunlight or fluorescent light. Keep the temperaturebetween 5°C and 35°C at normal humidity.(2) The polarizer surface should not come in contact with any other object. It is recommended that they be stored in the container in which they were shipped.9-6. Handling Precautions for Protection Film(1) The protection film is attached to the bezel with a small masking tape. When the protection film is peeled off, static electricity is generated between the film and polarizer. This should be peeled off slowly and carefully by people who are electrically grounded and with well ion-blown equipment or in such a condition, etc.(2) When the module with protection film attached is stored for a long time, sometimes there remains a verysmall amount of glue still on the bezel after the protection film is peeled off.(3) You can remove the glue easily. When the glue remains on the bezel surface or its vestige is recognized, please wipe them off with absorbent cotton waste or other soft material like chamois soaked with normal-hexane.# APPENDIX-I-1■Required signal assignment for Flat Link (DS90C385) Transmitter(Pin9=“L”)Notes:1. All specifications are subject to change without notice.IntroductionThe Spartan ®-II 2.5V Field-Programmable Gate Array fam-ily gives users high performance, abundant logic resources, and a rich feature set, all at an exceptionally low price. The six-member family offers densities ranging from 15,000 to 200,000 system gates, as shown in T able 1. System perfor-mance is supported up to 200 MHz.Spartan-II devices deliver more gates, I/Os, and features per dollar than other FPGAs by combining advanced pro-cess technology with a streamlined Virtex-based architec-ture. Features include block RAM (to 56K bits), distributed RAM (to 75,264 bits), 16 selectable I/O standards, and four DLLs. Fast, predictable interconnect means that successive design iterations continue to meet timing requirements. The Spartan-II family is a superior alternative to mask-programmed ASICs. The FPGA avoids the initial cost, lengthy development cycles, and inherent risk of conventional ASICs. Also, FPGA programmability permits design upgrades in the field with no hardware replacement necessary (impossible with ASICs).Features•Second generation ASIC replacement technology -Densities as high as 5,292 logic cells with up to200,000 system gates-Advanced 0.22/0.18 µm 6-layer metal process -Streamlined features based on Virtex architecture -Unlimited reprogrammability -Very low cost•System level features-SelectRAM+™ hierarchical memory:·16 bits/LUT distributed RAM ·Configurable 4K bit block RAM ·Fast interfaces to external RAM -Fully PCI compliant-Low-power segmented routing architecture-Full readback ability for verification/observability -Dedicated carry logic for high-speed arithmetic -Dedicated multiplier support-Cascade chain for wide-input functions-Abundant registers/latches with enable, set, reset -Four dedicated DLLs for advanced clock control -Four primary low-skew global clock distribution nets -IEEE 1149.1 compatible boundary scan logic •Versatile I/O and packaging-Low cost packages available in all densities-Family footprint compatibility in common packages -16 high-performance interface standards -Hot swap Compact PCI friendly-Zero hold time simplifies system timing•Fully supported by powerful Xilinx development system -Foundation Series: Fully integrated software -Alliance Series: For use with third-party tools -Fully automatic mapping, placement, and routingSpartan-II 2.5V FPGA Family: Introduction and Ordering InformationDS001-1 (v2.1) October 31, 2000Preliminary Product Specification T able 1: Spartan-II FPGA Family MembersDevice Logic Cells TypicalSystem Gate Range (Logic and RAM)CLB Array (C x R)Total CLBs Maximum Available User I/O (1)TotalDistributed RAMBitsTotal Block RAMBitsXC2S154326,000 - 15,0008 x 1296866,14416K XC2S3097213,000 - 30,00012 x 1821613213,82424K XC2S501,72823,000 - 50,00016 x 2438417624,57632K XC2S1002,70037,000 - 100,00020 x 3060019638,40040K XC2S1503,88852,000 - 150,00024 x 3686426055,29648K XC2S2005,29271,000 - 200,00028 x 421,17628475,26456KNotes:1.All user I/O counts do not include the four global clock/user input pins. See details in T able 3, page 3.General OverviewThe Spartan-II family of FPGAs have a regular, flexible, pro-grammable architecture of Configurable Logic Blocks (CLBs), surrounded by a perimeter of programmable Input/Output Blocks (IOBs). There are four Delay-Locked Loops (DLLs), one at each corner of the die. Two columns of block RAM lie on opposite sides of the die, between the CLBs and the IOB columns. These functional elements are interconnected by a powerful hierarchy of versatile routing channels (see Figure1).Spartan-II FPGAs are customized by loading configuration data into internal static memory cells. Unlimited reprogram-ming cycles are possible with this approach. Stored values in these cells determine logic functions and interconnec-tions implemented in the FPGA. Configuration data can be read from an external serial PROM (master serial mode), or written into the FPGA in slave serial, slave parallel, or Boundary Scan modes.Spartan-II FPGAs are typically used in high-volume applica-tions where the versatility of a fast programmable solution adds benefits. Spartan-II FPGAs are ideal for shortening product development cycles while offering a cost-effective solution for high volume production.Spartan-II FPGAs achieve high-performance, low-cost operation through advanced architecture and semiconduc-tor technology. Spartan-II devices provide system clock rates up to 200MHz and internal performance as high as 333MHz. Spartan-II FPGAs offer the most cost-effective solution while maintaining leading edge performance. In addition to the conventional benefits of high-volume pro-grammable logic solutions, Spartan-II FPGAs also offer on-chip synchronous single-port and dual-port RAM (block and distributed form), DLL clock drivers, programmable set and reset on all flip-flops, fast carry logic, and many other features.Figure 1: Basic Spartan-II Family FPGA Block DiagramSpartan-II Product AvailabilityT able 2 shows the package and speed grades available for Spartan-II family devices. Intel’s Word-Wide FlashFile™ memory family provides high-density, low-cost, non-volatile, read/write storage solutions for a wide range of applications. The Word-Wide FlashFile memories are available at various densities in the same package type. Their symmetrically-blocked architecture, flexible voltage, and extended cycling provide highly flexible components suitable for resident flash arrays, SIMMs, and memory cards. Enhanced suspend capabilities provide an ideal solution for code or data storage applications. For secure code storage applications, such as networking, where code is either directly executed out of flash or downloaded to DRAM, the Word-Wide FlashFile memories offer three levels of protection: absolute protection with VPP at GND, selective block locking, and program/erase lockout during power transitions. These alternatives give designers ultimate control of their code security needs. This family of products is manufactured on Intel’s 0.4 µm ETOX™ V process technology. It comes in the industry-standard 56-lead SSOP and µBGA packages. In addition, the 16-Mb device is available in the industry-standard 56-lead TSOP package.
