教学目标
1.能熟练使用单词play, football, basketball, volleyball, table tennis进行口语表达,
2.能听懂并能正确运用句型”Can you play football? Yes, I can.”进行交际。

3.能够了解并能正确使用句型” You can play football well.”。

教学重点
1.句型”Can you play football? Yes, I can.” 以及其回答的运用;
2.掌握句型“You can play football well.”;
教学难点
1.学生能否理解句型“You can play football well.”的基本含义;
2.学生运用句型以及回答问题时的语音语调是否准确;
教学准备
1.课件或图片可以在投影仪上展示。

教学过程
Step 1 Warming up
通过进入教室打招呼, 进入课堂氛围,教师聆听学生回答问题然后合理引导;
(T:teacher S:student)
T: Hi, Ss. How are you today? S: I’m fine, thank you. And you? T: I’m great too. Good job! OK, let’s get started.
Step 2 Presentation
1.学生跟读老师呈现新单词。

2.向学生询问他们对于不同球类的了解情况以及是否能玩球。

3.向学生介绍新句型并进行分组演练。

1. Vocabulary presentation
(T: Point to the pictures on the PowerPoint presentation slide)
T: What’s this? S: It’s a football. (T: repeat the question about the rest of the pictures.) S: It’s a basketball. S: It’s a table tennis racket.
2. Using new language
T: (T: Divides students into groups and asks each group about the game t hey can play and the games they can’t play). For example:
T: Group 1, can you play football? S: Yes, we can. T: Group 2, can you play table tennis? S: No, we can’t.
3. New sentence pattern
T: Learners, its time to learn a new sentence pattern. What is it?
S: You can play football well.
T: That’s right. Now, let’s try it together.
(T: Lead the class in a demonstration of the new sentence pattern, with appropriate gestures)
T: (Point to a student) Jack, you can play football well.
S: Thank you.
T: (Point to another student) Lily, you can play basketball well.
S: Thank you.
Step 3 Practice
运用刚学的语言模式和句型进行基本对话练习。

T: OK, great. Now, let’s practice the new language.
1.(T: Pointing at student) Can you play football?
S: Yes, I can.
T: (Point at a student who can play football) You can play football well. (Point at a student who can’t play football) You can’t play football well.
2.(T: Pointing at student) Can you play basketball?
S: (nodding) Yes, I can.
T: (Point at a student who can play basketball) You can play basketball well. (Point at a student who can’t play basketball) You can’t play basketball well.
3.(T: Demonstrate with the whole class) Can we play volleyball?
(Ss respond while nodding and shaking their heads)
T: Great! We can play volleyball well.
Step 4 Production
Work in pairs, practicing the new sentence pattern.
T: OK, now you’re going to work in pairs and practice the new sentence pattern. I want you to go around the class and ask each other what sports you can play. And remember to use the new sentence pattern.
1. Exercise in pairs.
T: OK, pair up. Now, ask your partner if they can play football, basketball, volleyball, or table tennis. And then say, you can play
_______ well.
2. Group work.
T: Great! Now, we’re going to play a game. You will split int o groups of four people each. And the group will list all of the people in the group who can play each sport well.
T: OK, let’s get started.
Step 5 Review
T: OK, great work today. Let’s review before we finish.
(T: Repeating the previous vocabulary and sentence structures)
T: So, class, we learned about these sports: football, basketball, volleyball, and ping pong. Now, who can play football well?
(Ss raise their hand to respond)
T: Great! And can you say: You can play football well?
Ss: You can play football well.
总结
通过以上教学过程学生可以熟练运用单词和句型进行基本交流,学生的语音语调也得到了筛选,教学最终达到预先制定的教学目标。
