He’s playing the suona, but the phone rings.
Warm-up: Greeting: 1. What’s the weather like today?
2.What’s the weather like in this photo?
What are they doing?
Activity1: 1. Look and say——What’s the weather like?
2. Listen then answer: What are the dogs/frogs doing?
3.Writing: What’s the ... doing? It’s .... What are the ... doing? They’re .... Lead in: The frogs are having a party. Daming is having a party, too. ——Birthday party.
What’s Daming doing? （整体听课文并找答案）
He’s playing the suona. What is happening?
Read passage 1 and find the answer.（读课文第一段并划出关键词）
Practise: play +the +乐器play + 球类项目
Read passage 2: Before reading, ask the question: Daming is playing the suona, but what happened?
Practise: Let’s say and act.Read for the second time and then answer: How many times did Daming play the suona?(first, second, third)
Retell the text.
