The article mainly talked about the current comment on the gay marriage. On the public point view, many gap people identify themselves are married in a legal relationship and they are trying to get legal respect relationships. But on the hand, the Obama administration is shifting their focus to repealing state and federal laws that define marriage as between one man and one woman. Obama stated that same-sex marriage run counter to the constitution and continue support don’t ask and don’t tell policy. The leaders in Washington can’t make their decisions and they think the Supreme Court will uphold the law for us finally.
The conflict of the laws is a political, social and moral issue for us in many nations. Supporters think that government should have no role in regulating personal relationships and opponents of same-sex marriages have arguments that recognition would erode religious freedom and children of the couples would lose their biological mother and father and they will suffer discrimination from others.
I think the conflict had not been solved in United States. The defense of Marriage Act prevents the federal government form recognizing legal same-sex marriage from any state since 1996. But the US Census Bureau announced last week that it had counted 646,000 same-sex couples across the country in 2010 and one fifth of them live in states that offer limited or no legal recognition of their partnerships. Federal law permits states to define marriage and many voters support a federal constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage. Personally, I think it is hard to have solution since it is not widely accepted. But since many countries had accepted this idea of gay marriage, it can work in United States as well if the government give us some fair and objective opinion and explanation to public and give more respect to them with the freedom of religion.

There is a problem that Rick Perry, who is running for the presidential nomination of a party, has the lobbyist for Merck, who makes the vaccine. He argues that people should not get the vaccine or available. And as a result, he had made a very bad influence and people declare that it is their right to choose the thing they want.
Limited government means that government only does those things that the people have given them the power to do since it is always subject to the law. In the passage, Rick Perry made a wrong decision that he forgot that people have the decision in power to supersede the parent and it is determined by
the legislature which should be more powerful than the government. So the killing of executive order is wrong based on the concept of limited government. And our individual rights and health from the law can’t be less important than anything else.。
