第二课时创设了Alice和朋友们在公园里开了野餐派对的情景,并遇到Kipper一家,围绕Kipper一家去买宠物的故事开展活动。
通过Kipper 一家买宠物的过程,学习动物词汇,以及运用重点句型词汇对动物进行描述,进而为第三课时做铺垫。
第三课时创设了Alice和朋友们一起去看马戏团表演的情景,以小丑人物为引导,出现不同动物,设置悬念,让孩子从听说读等方式,对核心词汇句型进行巩固,孩子可以运用核心词汇句型对动物特征,公园的特点进行描述,达到输出的课程目标。

教材分析:
本单元的主要教学内容是“确认物品”。
建议教师利用前面学过的文具类、交通工具类单词,结合本单元B部分的单词,充分利用创设情景,通过听音猜词、图形辨物等有趣活动,让学生学会运用What’s that?和It’s a ….等日常交际用语,在学生熟练听说的基础上,教师可以适当联系前面学过的内容进行综合操练,从而使学生能够在日常生活中自然流利地运用所学内容。
学情分析:
学生在经过了上学期的学习,已经学会用Wha t’s this?来询问物品,而且上两个单元还学会了用That’s my new ….来介绍物品和用句子Is that …?来询问物品,从而可以引出句型What’s that?和It’s a ….的教学。
本单元学习的词汇又是学生非常感兴趣的,可以利用实物、图片、简笔画或幻灯片等方式,教学这些单词。
根据低年级学生的年龄特点,可采用游戏,儿歌等形式,做一做,说一说,唱一唱,让学生在愉悦轻松的氛围中操练What’s that?和It’s a ….这一对话。

A. Free talk
T.: Class begins.
S1: Stand up.
T: Hello, boys and girls. Hi, what’s your name?
S: Hello, my name is ….
T: How are you?
S1: I’m fine, thank you.
T: Nice to meet you.
S1: Nice to meet you, too.
开起小火车,一个接一个和后面的小朋友打招呼。
B. Learn to say
(1)教师出示一张公园的图片。
T: Look!What’s this?
在教师引导下学生a park,教师领读park。
T: Today,we will learn new lesson。
教师领读课题。
T: Now,Mike and Helen are in the park(图片显示远处的bee)Look!
What’s that?
Ss: A bee.
T: Let’s listen to the tape. ( 听两遍课文) What’s that?
在教师引导下复习a bee.
(2)教师先让学生听课文录音, 弄清Helen问的是什么,再带领学生跟录音朗读课文,注意读准单词bee。
(3)教师让学生两人一组操练对话,再互换角色进行对话,操练时要注意that中a的发音。
(4)结合B部分的单词运用What’s this?/What’s that?/It’s…进行问答。
C. Practice
教师给出几幅图片:A. In the park B. At the Stationer’s C. At the zoo
请学生选择其中的一张,鼓励学生针对画面内容,开动脑筋,提出问题。
D. Say a rhyme
(1)播放录音,让学生跟读。
(2)教师要注意重点指导学生发音比较困难的单词的朗读。
(3)组织多种形式的朗读,如齐读、分组读、对读等形式。
E. Assign homework
(1)听录音,进行对话。
(2)鼓励学生平时用本单元所学的日常交际用语相互打招呼。
(3)鼓励学有余力的学生学习其他的打招呼用语。
