1 Who are the happiest?
According to a study of 65 countries in the U. K.’ s New Scientist magazine, the happiest people in the world live in Nigeria, followed by Mexico, Venezuela, El Salvador, and Puerto Rico. Although most people imagine that if they had more money they could do more fun things and perhaps be happier, the reality seems to be that those with higher incomes tend to be tenser, and spend less time on simple leisurely activities. The more money you earn, the more time you are likely to spend working, commuting, and doing other compulsory activities that bring little pleasure.

Set realistic goals for yourself: reduce the number of events going on in your life. Don’t sweat the small stuff: try to prioritize a few truly important things.
