All employees have the right to refuse tasks that they believe are a risk to their lives.
These must be referred to a supervisor and all efforts made to resolve the problem.
Every Supervisor working on the project must sign their H&S Appointment before accessing the site.
This appointment delegates duties and responsibilities according to the UAE Labor Law, Federal Law no.8 of 1980 as amended by Federal Law No.8 of 2007.

If you cannot rectify the hazard, then report it immediately to the supervisor.
Report all hazards to your supervisor.

If problems cannot be rectified immediately, the employee must accept reasonable alternative duties.

Employers must as far as is practicable, provide and maintain a working environment where employees are not exposed to hazards.
Any refusal by an employee to work unsafely must be treated as an issue for resolution.
