Unit 3 Count from One to Ten一、教学内容分析本单元的话题是数字。
“认识数字“是学生在数学课中正在学习的内容，因此，对于学生来说“数字”是一个熟悉的内容。
另外，本单元还会出现一个简单的统计活动，这也涉及数学方面的知识，教师可以适当地引导学生对自己的文具进行统计。
从教材栏目内容的设计来看，Le’s Sing通过一首歌曲来学习是个数字，由于设计的数字比较多，在歌曲前需要设计游戏活动帮学生熟悉数字，否则唱歌有一定的难度。
另外，歌曲应有机会在本单元的多个课时练唱。
歌曲中模仿猫的叫声部分学生会十分喜欢，要充分利用这一点来让学生开口唱歌：Les Chant通过小诗来让学生巩固数字的学习。
这首小诗也有一定的难度，在教学中，一方面要注意利用机会；Let’s Play让学生通过数玩具来对数字进行运用，同时还呈现了How many…?这个问句。
老师们在教学中要多创造机会让学生听问题，然后学生自己问问题。
本栏目设计名词复数的形式，老师在发音中可以突出，并可以对英语中的这一语法现象进行简单的解释，但不必纠缠于学生云烟饿准确性：Let’s Try将数字与上个单元所学的文具和I have …这个句型综合起来，体现了编者巩固循环、螺旋上升的理念。
这个活动是一个小型的任务，并且与学生自己的情况联系起来，实施顺利的话，学生可以体会到学习的成就感；Let’s Make是一个手工活动，让学生感受立体的数字，锻炼他们的空间想象能力，是多元智能理念在本书中的一个体现；Story Time 创设了一个有一些的请进让学生在新的语境中回顾和联系本单元的重点内容。
教师在教学过程中要充分利用图片Let’s Sing 中，学生通过玩记忆游戏，复习Unit 2学过的有关文具的单词；在Let’s Play中，学生回答“How many…？”的问题时，将运用前一单元多学过的句型I have…。
数字与名词的结合使得名词的复数形式在本单元出现，来师门在教学中可以简单想学生解释英语中复数的现象，但不必要纠缠于学生语言的准确性。
