一.教材分析(1)教材的地位和作用本课是人教版新目标英语八年级上册第10 单元的第一课时,主要以“life goals”为话题讨论人生理想和将来的计划打算以及为实现这些理想需要付出的努力。

本单元从时态上是一般将来时,是继一般过去时之后的又一重要时态;从话题上看是谈论未来的打算,是让学生从小就树立自己的人生理想,而下一单元的话题是家务劳动,这正应了中国的老话“前车之鉴,后车之师”“一屋不扫何以扫天下”。

所以本单元无论从知识还是从情感方面都是承上启下的一个单元。

(2)教学目标知识目标A.识记关于职业的名词,例如,computer programmer、basketball player、engineer、actor等等。

B.掌握句型What are you going to be when you grow up? I’m going to be a computer programmer. How are you going to do that? I’m going to study computer science.能力目标:能听懂有关人生理想的词汇及表达;能进行有关将来计划的讨论。

情感目标:通过对人生理想的讨论,让学生从小就树立自己的人生理想,并且现在就下决心,为理想而努力奋斗。

使他们成为有理想,有抱负,有动力,健康成长的新一代青少年。

(3)教学重点、难点。

(1)重点:动词的一般将来时态的学习(2)难点:学会描述自己的人生理想以及如何实现这些理想。

二、学情分析通过对学生人生理想的调查,了解到部分学生没理想;或有不切实际的理想;或有轻视努力的过程的思想。

对“Unit 10 I’m going to be a basketball player”PPT案例的分析
首先,我觉得该PPT的设计合理,遵循一定的教学原理,由简单到复杂(简笔画的妙用,初中生已经具备一定的领悟性和想象力,在教学内容的设计来说,对学生的新单词的学习来的直白明了。

使用简笔画而不是具体现实中某一职业人物图片,对于这教学设计目的来说,个人分析是重点突出学习内容的考虑,学生不会因为图片上的现实人物分散注意力,甚至对给出的具体某一现实人物图片的喜好而产生短暂的课堂厌学等情况);其次,教学目标清晰,细分到就单一的将来进行时be going to句型的表达,具有师生、生生之间相互在课堂重复演练的可行性。

最后,在教学方法上,采用了游戏竞赛教学、角色扮演充分调动了学习课堂氛围和学生参与的积极性。

据相关研究发现,语言的掌握程度起源于人类歌唱的能力。

Fonseca Mora (2000)则认为语言的音乐性会影响学生的英语发音甚至于整个英语习得过程 ,因而推荐在英语教学过程中使用“旋律方法”。
