本课正是以学生熟悉的内容为载体,以介绍海伦凯勒的事迹来学习短语句型和被动语态。

让学生在小组合作中学会英语,掌握英语,运用英语,让学生体验到用英语进行交流的乐趣,对英语学习表现出积极性和初步的自信心。

同时,教师要与学生在进行广泛的合作、协调和沟通的过程中适时进行指导和评价,使学生形成正确的人生观和价值观。

2、教学目标1)知识与能力目标:①学会运用单词:educator, ability, blind, deaf ,progress, community 等;②学会使用短语at the age of , have/get a high fever, be filled with ,make a lot of progress, be famous for/as等。

③初步学习运用被动语态。

2)方法与途径:在师生交流、同学合作交流的基础上,形成良好的阅读习惯,同时注意开发学生记忆能力、观察能力、想象和概括等多种能力。

3)情感态度与价值观:体验用英语进行语言交际的乐趣,激发学生主动参与学习的热情,渗透在日常生活中关心和乐于助人的思想品质4)现代教学手段的运用多媒体一体机。

3、教学重点、难点①培养学生英语听说能力,能用简单的语言描述海伦凯勒的故事,进行简单的书面表达,体会日常生活中对他人对同学的爱。

②学会运用被动语态基本的表达。

二、教学准备本课主要学习海伦凯勒热爱生命自强不息的故事,同时本单元也学习了其他的一些为伟人,所以要求同学们课前多了解伟人们事迹,要有讨论的基本资料。

教师制作课件时首先考虑以课文为载体,运用一些图片来说明海伦凯勒从不放弃,不向困难低头,坚强不屈勇往直前,并且乐于助人的优良品质,教育学生珍爱生命,珍惜时间,努力学习,为自己的未来打下一个扎实的基础。
