The twinkling of an eye, I am in China Merchants Bank had been going on for nearly one month of internship. In the course of the internship, I have realized that schools does not have complexity of social work and pressure, but China Merchants Bank do it. From this internship, I have gained plenty of knowledge and experience. First, I want to introduce China Merchant Bank. Established in 1987 in Shenzhen, the forefront of China’s reform and opening-up drive, China Merchant Bank(CMB is China’s first joint-stock commercial bank and also the first bank to attend the national experiment for the promotion of China’s banking industry reform driven by endeavors form outside the government. Since its inception 24 years form a small bank with capital of 100 million yuan, one branch and over thirty employees into a nationwide joint-stock commercial bank that has a total net capital of 140 billion yuan, a total asset of 2.6 trillion yuan, over 800 branches and over 50000 employees, ranking it among the world’s top 100 b anks. CMB has developed into the most influential commercial bank brand in China thanks to continuous financial innovation, quality customer service, prudent management and strong business performance. For many consecutive years, CMB has been ranked among China’s top commercial banks according to comprehensive assessment by CBRC. The bank has won a number of titles, including the Best Commercial Bank of China, the Best Retail Bank. Expect its’ outstanding history, it’s contribution also can’t be ignored.CM B has led China’s banking industry by creating a synergy of “Profit, Quality, Scale” and a structure of core values including “Service, Innovation and Stability”. With respect to corporate governance, CMB separates ownership form management and is one of C hina’s banks that have established a modern corporate governance structure with clear division of work and mutual balance and supervision between the board of directors, the board of supervisors and the management team. In terms of HR management, CMB was t he first to abolish the “three - guarantees mechanism” and adopt a flexible system, under which employees can be dismissed, manager can be promoted or demoted, and remuneration can be flexibly adjusted. CMB has established China’s first bank -wide IT platform and first telephone bank. CMB has launched a large number of innovativeproducts that are highly competitive. The All-in-One Card is the first bank card managed based on customer numbers. CMB has issued 5988 All-in-One Cards, with an average deposit of over RMB9800, making it one of the most popular bank cards in China. All-in-One Net is the China’s first online banking platform.CMB has the great advantage, so most of graduates are eager to get a job from bank in China for its’ salary. As a n ordinary university student, I also look forward to working in bank. This long-awaited dream came in the summer of this year to achieve: in China Merchant bank summer intern. Although the practice is only a short period of one month, but in the knowledge of finance, banking, corporate management, give me a profound practice course. In particular, my department manager on my guidance with caring, let me feel the warm and beauty in this big family, and I was full of gratitude and admiration on China Merchant bank.Every university both demand students do a internship. My school also do. I thinkthere are some purposes for us. First, learn the distance between colleges and society. Second, summary of internship after, and fill out the internship identification, write a practice report. Last, encourage us to hard study and add our experience. Then, I will talk about my main experience about internship.Before worked formal, I experienced a number of related business training that is these knowledge training, and I gradually understand the financial and the bank. Through CMB study, I more and more profound understanding of CMB.The internship work as an assistant of manager on duty, the work divide into two parts, including sell POS and Credit Card. First, our group should go to all kinds of markets to sell POS in Kunming. This work is very hard to complete because most of customers did not believe us who look like liars. As the result of it, if we have sold two POS in a week, that is good for us. But it was not our mainly work. Our duty is sell the Credit Card. Credit card by whether to have consumer credit function is divided intoCredit Card and Debit Card. Credit Card holder is according to the issuing bank to pay the reserve for Loan card and Credit Card. Credit Card holder bank granted certain limit, does not need to pay the reserve can be in this line for consumption, monthly bank will print a piece of the customers of the consumption of inventory, customers can choose paid in full or part payment, if they choose the latter, were not paid as part of short-term bank loans to compound interest. While prospective credit is a Credit Card. A Debit Card is no overdraft function, but can transfer settlement, access and consumption. Credit Card can also be divided into units card and personal card by the use of object; according to the credit rating can be divided into gold and ordinary card. Expect the small and medium-sized enterprises like to use Credit Card, a great number of people also choose this card to advanced consumption. My main customers is the younger who use it to buy cars or houses. Last, I have some of my point about CMB. Actually the bank is not what I imagine, easy work, the bank staff is very difficult. Seemingly simple work actually contains many of details, and you must be circumspect for every step. But some staff often overtime work for finishing it just because staffs of CMB have a strong sense of responsibility. Maybe there is no any overtime wage reward. Then I feel CMB is a big family and have a sense of responsibility, which is particularly for enterprises. No internal unity, it would be a mess, and difficult to develop. As long as the internal unity is existent, even more difficult, the success must be come.“ The paper come says, must know that this pr actice is essential." In the short-term internship, I deeply feel our superficial knowledge and expertise are lack in the practical application of the beginning period of time, which are unable to start some work, at a loss, it makes me feel extremely sad. At school always consider learning, once exposed to the actual, only to find that we know is how little, and then truly comprehend the meaning of “learning".“ A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step”, which is more than a month short and enrich the internship. I think it played a role of a bridge for me to society, therole of the transition, life experience, is also an important steps to go to work in the future also has a great help. Humbly ask for advice to others, to comply with the organizational discipline and the rules andregulations, and human civilization, exchanges and other life in society as the basic principle should be implemented, in real life use habits have to continuously train in real life. Internship, bitter and sweet, smooth road more than the threshold is a challenge and an opportunity, this threshold may be an obstacle may be the ticket leading to another world. When the end of my internship, and then look back to the time of the green ears of corn, to see the smiling faces when the ebullient. I know that the bank there are a lot a lot to learn! The process of internship is filled with joy of with harvest and also regret. Perhaps it is because that the time is short and the work also is not my major, my assistant work just stays at surface, watching people do and listening to them about how to do without self-experience, which results in grasping its essence hardly. I have found out my shortcomings through about one-month internship. I will try my best in the future work and study, learning from each other. I believe that I could be proficient and better in my future career.。
