2017三年级英语下册课文unit 7
2017三年级英语下册课文unit 7全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1Unit 7 - My Busy WeekHi there! My name is Emma and I'm a 3rd grader. Our English teacher Mrs. Smith just gave us a new unit all about daily routines and activities. I'm going to tell you about my typical week and all the fun and busy things I do!On Monday mornings, my mom wakes me up around 7 AM. I get dressed, brush my teeth, and have breakfast - usually cereal or toast. Then I put on my backpack and my mom drives me to school. My first class is math which I'm pretty good at. We learn about addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Sometimes we use counters or draw pictures to help us.After math, we have reading class. We take turns reading stories out loud. My favorite books are the ones with lots of pictures and adventure. Recently we read a book about two kids who found a magic tree house that could transport them anywhere! At lunch time, I eat the food I packed from home or sometimes get the school lunch if it's something I like, like pizza or chicken nuggets. I sit with my best friends Lily and Jack. We talk about our favorite TV shows, video games, or plan fun activities for after school. In the afternoon, we have science and social studies. In science, we just learned about the life cycle of butterflies which was really neat! We even got to watch some caterpillars form chrysalises. Social studies is where we learn about history, geography, and different cultures around the world.Once school is over at 3 PM, sometimes I go to my grandma's house. She lives pretty close to my school. At grandma's, I do my homework while she makes me a snack like apple slices or cookies. Grandma doesn't let me watch too much TV, but I can play educational games on her tablet.Other days, I go home and my mom takes me to my afterschool activities. On Mondays, I have soccer practice. I love running around and kicking the ball with my teammates. Our coach teaches us cool drills and we scrimmage at the end. I'm getting better at dribbling and passing.Tuesday is a less busy day for me. After school, I just have to do my homework, which doesn't usually take too long. Then Ican play outside if the weather is nice or have a friend come over. Sometimes mom will take us to the park so we can go on the swings and slides.Wednesday is music day at school, which is my favorite! We learn how to sing new songs and play simple instruments like triangles, tambourines, or xylophones. Our music teacher is really fun and gets everyone excited. I'm in the after-school choir club too where we practice singing as a group. On Thursdays, I go straight to dance class after school. I take ballet and tap dancing lessons. We learn different stretches to stay flexible and go across the floor practicing our techniques like pliés, tendus, and shuffle steps. It's hard work but I love putting on my leotard and dancing with my friends.Fridays are the best because there's no school! If it's nice out, dad sometimes takes me and my little brother to the beach in the morning. We swim in the ocean, build sandcastles, and look for cool seashells. In the afternoon, he'll take us to get ice cream or frozen yogurt. Yum!Some Friday evenings, my family goes to the movies to see whatever new kids' movie just came out. We get a big bucket of popcorn to share and I get my own box of candy. My favorite is Sno-Caps! I always have a blast.Weekends are more relaxed. I sleep in a little later and we don't really have a schedule. I spend time playing video games, Legos, drawing, or having friends sleep over. On Sundays, we go to church and then the whole family has a big meal together. Maybe grandma and grandpa will come over too.Well, that's a week in my life! Between school, afterschool activities, errands, chores, and just hanging out at home, I stay pretty busy. But it's all a lot of fun and I'm making great memories. Being a kid is the best!篇2Unit 7 - A Day at the CircusWow, what an exciting day I had! Last Saturday, my parents surprised me by taking me to the circus that was visiting our city.I had been looking forward to it for weeks after seeing all the colorful posters and advertisements around town. The big top tent looked so vibrant and fun from the outside. When we went inside, I was amazed by all the sights and smells. Salty popcorn, sweet cotton candy, and other delicious fair foods filled the air. The ring in the middle had a surfaceof fresh sawdust. Families were finding their seats in the bleachersthat circled all around the ring. I couldn't wait for the show to begin! Finally, the ringmaster came out wearing a top hat and tailcoat. He had a big smile and introduced the first act - the clowns! A tiny little car drove into the ring and then BOOM! About ten clowns piled out of it one by one. They were dressed so silly in bright wigs, oversized shoes, and colorful costumes with patterns like polka dots or stripes. Their makeup with the big red noses and painted smiles made me giggle. The clowns started doing all kinds of funny stunts and tricks, falling over each other and making goofy jokes. My sides were splitting from laughing so hard! After the clowns came the acrobats. They were so graceful and athletic as they flipped through the air and performed on the trampoline. Some formed human pyramids by climbing up onto each other's shoulders. It was amazing how strong and flexible they were. I was really impressed when one acrobat swung back and forth on the trapeze high above the ring without a safety net below. That took a lot of bravery! My favorite act was definitely the animal performers. First, sleek brown horses trotted into the ring while glamorous women in sparkling outfits rode on their backs. The horses danced andpranced in a choreographed routine to upbeat music. Next, the elephants came out and showed off their skills. These massive gentle giants could balance on tiny stools and hold themselves up just with their trunk! The trainer had them do tricks like kicking balls with their feet and spraying water from their trunks into the air. I thought it was so cool how smart and obedient they were. Towards the end, some tiny dogs ran out and did flips and jumps through hoops. Even the animals were circus stars!During the intermission, we got to see some of the performers and animals up close. A clown was making balloon animals for the kids, so I got a balloon sword. We also petted the soft fur of one of the sweet dogs from the dog act. Then I convinced my dad to buy me a bag of sweet pink cotton candy. That sugary treat is always my favorite circus snack! For the second half of the show, a muscular man came out and showed off his incredible strength. He lifted extremely heavy weights over his head, broke chains wrapped around his chest, and bent a steel bar using just his bare hands! Everyone gasped in astonishment at his bodily power. Another amazing act featured three daring ladies dressed as shimmering mermaids. They climbed up long pieces of fabric that hung from the ceiling and performed all kinds of elegant poses, spins, and drops whilesuspended high in the air. It was like watching real-life mermaids swim through the sky!The grand finale was the most suspenseful act of all - the flying trapeze! Two tiny acrobats climbed up to a platform very high above the ring. Then they began swingingon trapezes, crossing in the air, and letting go to catch each other's hands or become recaught by another swinging trapeze. My heart pounded as they soared and flipped through the air with such precision. It looked terrifying but exhilarating at the same time. With a final dramatic release and catch, the performers stuck a perfect landing on the safety net below. The crowd erupted in cheers and applause! As we left the circus, I clutched my balloon sword and a new stuffed elephant toy I had begged my parents to buy me. My eyes were still wide with awe after seeing all the incredible acts and showmanship. The circus celebrates the amazing things humans (and animals) can accomplish through hard work, discipline, and an adventurous spirit. I'll never forget the thrills and sense of wonder I felt during my first incredible day at the circus!篇3Unit 7: My School LifeHi there! My name is Emma and I'm a third grader at Lakeview Elementary School. I absolutely love going to school and learning new things every day. Let me tell you all about my typical school day and the different subjects we study. The first class of the day is English. I really enjoy English because we get to read lots of fun stories and work on our writing skills. This year we've read some classic tales like Goldilocks and the Three Bears and The Boy Who Cried Wolf. My favorite was probably The Tortoise and the Hare because I learned that being steady and determined is more important than going too quickly. We also write our own little stories and get to share them with the class. Just last week I wrote a silly one about a talking dog that was a superhero! After English, we have math class. I'll be honest - math isn't my favorite subject. There are so many numbers, equations, and word problems to memorize. But I'm getting better at it thanks to my teacher Mr. Rodriguez. He's really good at explaining the concepts in a simple way that makes sense. We've covered addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, shapes, measurement, and even basic fractions so far this year. Whoknew there were so many math concepts to learn in third grade?I just take it one step at a time.Next up is science, which is one of my favorite classes. We've learned about all sorts of cool topics like the human body, plants, animals, the solar system, and matter. My favorite unit was definitely the one on the solar system. Did you know there are eight planets orbiting our sun? I can even name them in order: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. We got to make models of the planets out of styrofoam balls and paint too. I made Jupiter because I thought the big red spot was super neat. Science is so fun because we get to do a lot of hands-on activities and experiments.Social studies is the class right before lunch where we learn about history, geography, economics, and government. I have to say, some of those topics can be a little dry. But I do find the history lessons on ancient civilizations like Rome, Greece, Egypt, and China to be pretty interesting. We even got to mummify a small stuffed animal like an ancient Egyptian and I thought that was awesome! Economics has been hard to understand with concepts like trade, supply and demand. I just think of it as keeping track of money. And for government, we've beenlearning about how laws are made and the different branches - that part isn't too bad.Lunch is definitely my favorite part of the day, just being honest! I pack my lunch from home and it's usually a sandwich, chips, fruit, veggie sticks, and a drink. Sometimes I'll get the hot lunch from the cafeteria if it's something I really like, such as pizza, chicken nuggets, or beef tacos. They have some healthy options too like chef salads. But no matter what, lunch is a welcome break to re-energize for the rest of the day.In the afternoon, we have two more classes - reading and art. Reading class continues building our comprehension and literacy skills. We take turns reading short books or passages out loud, then have discussions about the plot, characters, and things we didn't understand. We learn new vocabulary words and practice our fluency. Sometimes we get to do fun projects like making dioramas of key scenes from novels too. Finally, art class ends the day and it's probably my favorite special period (besides lunch of course!). We've experimented with all kinds of art mediums like painting, drawing, sculpting, collages, and more. I'm actually a pretty good artist if I do say so myself. My best work was this vibrant landscape painting with a warm sunset over a field of sunflowers. The colors just seemed topop off the canvas! Art lets me get creative and use my imagination in a different way than the academic subjects.Phew, that's my typical day at Lakeview Elementary! Between all the core subjects like English, math, science, and history, as well as the specials like art and reading, it's a full schedule. And I didn't even mention things like music, gym, computer lab, and library time yet. No wonder I'm so tired by the time I get home in the afternoon! Thank goodness for weekends to recharge. But I really do love learning and my time at school. It's definitely keeping me busy and helping me grow smarter each day. Here's to many more great days of third grade!篇4Unit 7: A Trip to the CountrysideIt was a bright and sunny Saturday morning when my mom woke me up. "Wake up, sleepyhead!" she said, tickling my nose. "We're going on a special trip today!"I rubbed my eyes and yawned. "A trip? Where are we going?"Mom smiled. "It's a surprise! But you'll need to pack a small bag with some snacks and a water bottle."I quickly got dressed and stuffed a bag with my favorite chocolates, some crackers, and a big bottle of water. I could barely contain my excitement as we piled into the car. After driving for about an hour, we left the city behind and entered a world of green fields and rolling hills. "Are we going hiking?" I asked, pressing my face against the window."Not quite," Dad chuckled from the front seat. "Just wait and see."We soon turned onto a narrow road that wound through a thick forest. The trees were so tall and the canopy so dense that it felt like we were driving through a tunnel of green. I spotted a few squirrels scampering across the road, and I could hear birds chirping all around us.Finally, we emerged from the forest and came upon a large wooden sign that read "Miller's Farm." Beyond the sign, I could see a red barn, a white farmhouse, and several fenced-in fields with animals grazing."A farm!" I exclaimed. "We're going to a farm?""That's right," Mom said. "We thought it would be fun to spend the day on a real working farm and see all the animals."We parked the car, and a friendly-looking woman in overalls and a straw hat came out to greet us. "Welcome to Miller's Farm!" she said. "I'm Mrs. Miller, and I'll be your tour guide for the day."Mrs. Miller first took us to see the cows. There were so many of them, big and small, all chewing on grass and lazily flicking their tails. She let me feed them some hay, and their rough tongues tickled my palms as they gobbled it up.Next, we visited the chicken coop, where hundreds of feathery hens clucked and pecked at the ground. Mrs. Miller showed us where they laid their eggs, and I even got to collect a few warm, freshly-laid ones from the nesting boxes. We stopped by the pig pen, where a bunch of pink, squealing piglets tumbled over each other while their mother napped in the mud. I had to hold my nose because they smelled pretty stinky! In the sheep pasture, we watched as Mrs. Miller and her husband, Mr. Miller, gently herded the woolly flock, their dog bounding along beside them. Mrs. Miller explained that they sheared the sheep's thick coats every spring to collect the soft, fluffy wool. For lunch, we had a picnic under a shady oak tree, enjoying the sandwiches and snacks we had brought from home. A curious goat even wandered over and tried to nibble on my bag of crackers! After our bellies were full, we went to the stable to meet the horses. Mrs. Miller introduced us to a beautiful chestnut mare named Daisy and let me brush her silky coat. I had never been so close to such a big animal before, but Daisy was very gentle and calm.To end our farm adventure, Mrs. Miller took us on a tractor ride around the fields. We bounced along the dirt paths, waving to the cows and sheep as we passed by. From atop the tractor, I could see the whole farm laid out before me – a patchwork of green pastures, red barns, and winding trails. On the drive home, I leaned back in my seat, already missing the sights and sounds of the countryside. "Did you have fun today?" Mom asked, glancing at me in the rearview mirror.I nodded, a big smile spreading across my face. "It was the best day ever! I can't wait to tell my friends all about the animals and riding the tractor and everything."As I drifted off to sleep, visions of cows, chickens, and woolly sheep danced in my head. I knew that from now on, whenever I opened my lunchbox and saw an egg or a piece of cheese, I would think of Miller's Farm and the wonderful day I spent exploring the countryside.篇5The Crazy Pet ShowHi there! My name is Emma and I'm eight years old. I just had the craziest day at school and I can't wait to tell you all about it! Today was the annual Crazy Pet Show at Oakwood Elementary. Every year, kids can bring in their pets to show off in front of the whole school. It's always a hilarious day filled with silly animals doing funny things. This morning, I woke up super early because I was so excited.I got my pet rabbit Fluffster all ready in his travel cage with some fresh hay and carrots for him to munch on. My big brother Jason was bringing his gecko lizard named Green Machine. We couldn't wait! When we got to school, the auditorium was set up with a big stage at the front. Rows of chairs filled the room for everyone to sit and watch. We dropped off our pets backstage in the preparea. There were dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, and even a giant snake! I gave Fluffster some cuddles and wished him luck before finding my seat. The show kicked off with Mr. Woods, the principal, introducing all the pets and trainers. First up was Susie with her cat Oreo. Oreo was just lazying around on her little bed, not really doing any tricks. But then Susie held up a catnip toy and Oreo went wild! She was rolling all over the stage, making weird chirping noises. We were all cracking up!Next was Timmy with his parrot Polly. Timmy taught Polly to repeat funny phrases like "Who let the dogs out?" and "Can I get a pizza to go?" Each time Polly squawked something new, the whole auditorium erupted with laughter. Polly even did some funky dance moves, flapping her wings and bobbing her head. What a riot!Up next was my buddy Mark with his guinea pig Nibbles. Mark had this awesome obstacle course set up with ramps, tunnels and treats scattered all over. We all watched with bated breath as Nibbles scurried around, munching on snacks and climbing over every part of the course. He was such a speedy little guy! Then it was Jason's turn with Green Machine the gecko. Now, geckos are pretty chill lizards. They don't really do much. So we were all surprised when Green Machine started wildly scurrying in zigzag patterns all across the stage! Jason had to chase him around trying to catch him before he ran off the edge. We were dying laughing at the crazy lizard zoomies! After a few more acts, it was finally my turn with Fluffster. I had trained him to jump through a hoop, give me a high-five with his little paw, and sprint through a agility tunnel. Fluffster did great with the jumps and high-fives, but then he got distracted by some celery another kid's pet was munching on. He started wandering around looking for the snack and didn't want to run the tunnel. Oops! I still thought he was adorable though. At the end, the judges awarded trophies for best trick, fastest pet, most obedient and more. Polly the parrot won for best trick. Green Machine actually won most energetic, surprisingly! And Fluffster took home the prize for cutest and fluffiest. We all had an awesome time at the Crazy Pet Show. I'm already dreaming up some new tricks to train Fluffster for next year. A bunny backflip? A rabbit jumping through a ring of fire? Who knows what silliness next year's show will bring! I can't wait.篇6Unit 7 - A Taste of ChinaHi there! My name is Emma and I'm a third grader. Our class just finished Unit 7 in our English textbook all about Chinese food and culture. It was really fascinating to learn about the amazing cuisine and traditions of China. Let me tell you all about it!The first thing we learned is that Chinese food is incredibly diverse. China is a massive country with lots of different regions, climates, and cultures. This means the food varies a ton from place to place. In the north, they eat lots of noodles, dumplings, and wheat-based foods. But in the south, the cuisine features more rice, seafood, and tropical fruits and veggies. Some of my favorite Chinese dishes we learned about were dumplings, fried rice, hot pot, Peking duck, and dim sum. Dumplings are little pouches of dough stuffed with tasty fillings like pork, vegetables, or seafood. Fried rice is a simple but delicious dish of cooked rice mixed with eggs, veggies, meat or shrimp. Hot pot is a meal where you cook thin slices of meat and vegetables yourself in a big pot of boiling broth right at your table! Peking duck is a famous roasted duck dish from Beijingthat has crispy skin. And dim sum is a Cantonese tradition of small bite-sized dishes like dumplings, buns, and rice noodle rolls that you eat for breakfast or lunch.Along with the amazing food, we also studied some fascinating Chinese cultural traditions related to eating. For example, we learned that in China, making loud slurping sounds when eating noodles or soup is considered polite because it shows you're enjoying your food. We also found out that the Chinese invented chopsticks thousands of years ago as eating utensils. Using them takes practice but is a cool cultural skill.Another big part of Chinese food culture is the importance of preparing meals with fresh, high-quality ingredients. We read that Chinese people often go to traditional wet markets to buy just-harvested produce, freshly-butchered meats and fish, and other vibrant foods. Buying ingredients daily or every few days ensures meals are flavorful and nutritious. One other highlight was learning about regional specialties from different provinces. Like in Sichuan, the cuisine is famous for being incredibly spicy due to their love of chili peppers and peppercorns. But in coastal areas like Guangdong, the food has a lighter, more subtly-flavored Cantonese style of cooking with lots of stir-fries and steaming. We even got to do some fun Chinese cultural activities in class related to food. One day, we practiced using chopsticks by picking up pom-poms, marbles, or candies with them. It was pretty tricky at first but we all got better with practice! Another time, our teacher brought different ingredients and we got to try making simple dishes like fried rice or veggie dumplings as a class. It was awesome getting a tiny taste of Chinese cooking firsthand.Overall, I absolutely loved Unit 7 on the wonders of Chinese cuisine and traditions around food. I can't wait to visit China one day and try all the amazing dishes for myself. Or maybe my parents will even take me to an authentic Chinese restaurant sometime soon so I can sample more of the flavors I learned about. Either way, this unit really opened my eyes to the incredible diversity and flavors of Chinese food culture. I'll definitely never look at a plate of dumplings or a bowl of noodles the same way again!。

(small-not big, short- not tall, thin-not fat )自然拼音法---将单词教学与语音教学结合起来,通过语音教学帮助学生学、记单词。
