牛津初中英语教学设计案牛津初中英语8B Unit5 International Charities第二课时Reading 教学设计————江苏省沭阳县北丁集中学王利设计的基本理念:根据新课标,突出学生自主学习的主体地位原则,培养学生自主、合作、探究精神、突出语言运用能力培养的理念而设计。

《英语课程标准》是以学生“能做某事”的描述方式来设定各级目标要求的。

这就决定了我们在教学中要尽量采用“任务型”的教学途径。

在这一教学环节中,教师的任务就是根据单元和课堂教学内容和目标,给学生设计一个阶段、一个单元和每一课的学习任务、目标,并锁定任务,吸引和组织他们积极参与,通过思考、调查、讨论、交流和合作等方式,学习和使用英语,完成学习任务。

一、教材分析(一)教材的地位和作用1、单元背景分析:慈善机构在当今人们的生活中,尤其是贫困地区人们的生活中起到了越来越重要的作用。

这些机构通过不同的方式帮助世界各地的人们。

本单元就是让学生重点了解UNICEF(联合国儿童基金会)、World Vision(世界宣明会)、ORBIS(奥比斯)、Oxfam(乐施会)、Wide fund for Nature(世界自然基金会)五个国际慈善机构。

激发学生乐于助人的情怀,激励他们好好学习,为贫困地区的人们贡献自己的一份力量。

2、教材内容分析:本单元主要谈论有关慈善机构的话题。

本课是一篇阅读课文,通过学习对ORBIS一名医生的采访,了解ORBIS医生的基本工作状况。

学生通过对比学习,引出新课标语言的学习,并通过一系列的听、说、读、写活动逐步深入,不仅让学生学会用正确的语言介绍ORBIS 医生的工作情况,又能让学生了解更多关于世界贫困人口的情况,激发学生乐于助人的情怀。

所以本课是本单元的教学重点。

二、设计特色:强调学生自主学习、合作讨论和语言表达能力,不同的学生提出不同的要求,让每个层次的学生都有所收获,激发学习兴趣。

应该说整堂课中,教师在引入新词时,都是比较新颖而又自然,而且具有生活化的。

教师还注意利用实物,图片,卡片,身体语言,表情动作等作为教学资源,创设讲解,操练和运用英语的情景。

韩老师能贯彻以学生为中心的原则,关注教学过程,尽可能发挥学生的主体作用,让学生真实的去感受知识,体验知识,积极参与,努力实践,在活动中学会用语言表达交流,较好的体现了从不懂到懂,从不会到会,从不熟练到熟练的过程。

3、教学活动的设计丰富多彩,有效,训练方式多样,有全班活动,师生互动,小组活动双人活动,个人活动等,在活动中突破难点,在活动中发展能力。

教师为了巩固本课的内容,精心设计了多个活动有歌曲,谜语,游戏,内容非常丰富不但使单词、句型的操练面广,练习次数多,而且还调动了每一个学生的参与热情。

将热闹的形式与有效的语言实践有机结合。

在英语课中,活动的设计和开展还应该有利于学生学习英语知识,发展语言技能,从而提高学生的综合运用语言的能力。

英语课堂的活动应该以语言运用为落脚点,本堂课上,韩老师很好的贯彻了在用中学,学中用,学用结合,学以致用的原则。

同时体现了以学生为主体,教师为主导的新课程理念。

在这样的一个学习过程中,学习者处于相对自然的态势,不断的在习得和使用语言,学和用每分每秒都和谐的交织在一起。
