教材简析：
本单元的教学内容围绕“clothes〞展开。

Let’s act和Let’s talk 中，将要学习：coat，shoes，belt, dress 和短语put on , take off 进一步扩充为your coat/ your shoes 以及
put on your coat/take off your shoes/I need a new belt/ I need a new dress. Let’s learn 局部中，出了要求正确地指认clothes的单词。

Letters局部教字母Mm。

整个单元中的重难点在“Put on /Take off your …?〞“I need a new …〞“I like …〞“I don’t like…〞这四个句型上，教师要认真教授这四个句型，并帮助学生在能正确认读的根底上，根据clothes图片做相应的对话表演。

在学生交际操练阶段，应鼓励学生用多种单词进行句型的操练。

例如学习用具、身体的部位和水果类的单词。

教师应把握好本单元的教学目标，对新句型“Put on /Take off your …?〞“I need a new …〞“I like …〞“I don’t like…〞和 clothes的单词进行反复操练，要求学生理解、会说、会运用。

教学要求：
1．能听懂、会说几种clothes类单词：tie , belt , socks, shirt , dress , coat ,shoes
2．能用“I need a new ….〞指认clothes。

3．能理解并会运用“Put on /Take off your …?〞“I need a new …〞
“I like …〞“I don’t like…〞句型。

4. 学生画出各自喜欢的clothes。

5. 能听懂并有韵律地诵读歌谣Boys and girls 。

6．能听懂并复述出Let’s enjoy 局部的story

The first period: A Let’s act.

Step1 Greetings
Good morning ,children . How are you?
Step2 Pre-task preparation
1. Ask students to recite the rhyme on page 35 or have groups of stud ents stand in front of the class to recite and mime the rhyme together.
2. Write a list of words about winter on the board. Next to it list some words about transport . Also make a list of food items students have learned . Say Who can read the first list ?The second? The third? Let’s read them togethe r.
Step3 While-task procedure
1. Hold up a puppet and say Are you cold ? You only have a shirt .
You must wear maro clothes . Put a coat on the puppet and say “Put on your co at .〞Repeat for students to follow.
2. Continue putting toy clothes on the puppet until it has a coat, a scarf , a hat and a pair of gloves. The puppet says I’m not cold. I’m hot . S tart taking off the toy clothes from the puppet and say “T ake off your hat. Take off your scarf. Take off your gloves.〞Repeat so that students can follow.
3. Say “Put on your coat .〞and “take off your coat .〞
and ask individual students to follow your instructions.
4. Explain the difference between “put on〞and “take off〞.
5. Open the student’s book to page 37.Play the cassette tape to practi se the pronunciation. Students listen and follow in their books.
6. Play the cassette tape again. Students listen and repeat several time s.
7. Ask pairs of students to role-play the two commands.
Step4 Post-task activity
1. Extend the task by having the students practise using the two phrasa l verbs , i.e. “put on〞and “take off〞, but substituting “coat〞and “shoes〞with other clothing items, e.g. hat ,scarf , gloves .
2. Select pairs to say and act the modified commands to the class. FEEDBACK:

3. Show pictures of winter scenes and summer scenes cut from magazines.
Tell students if they see a picture of a winter scene, they should say “put on your coat. “If they see a picture of summer scene, they should say “Take off your coat .〞
Gradually quicken the pace to add more excitement .
4. Say May is going shopping with her daddy. They both need some new clothes. Let’s learn their names !
Step3 While-task procedure
8. Put up the wallchart for page 38. Tell a story something like this: One day, May’s daddy took her shopping with him. He needed to buy a new belt bec ause the buckle on his old one was broken.May promised to help . When they were i n the shop, May foung something she liked very much . It was a pretty dress. She said to her daddy that she needed a new dress. What do you need?
9. Introduce the new vocabulary words “tie〞, “belt〞, “socks〞, “shir t〞, “dress〞and “coat〞by pointing to the corresponding items on the wallchart or using picture cards. Carefully pronounce the words and let students repeat several times. Ask “What is this?〞Then say the word and ask the students to repeat. 10. Point to your own coat and say “It is old. I need a new coat.〞
Repeat for students to copy.
11. Walk around and ask individual students what new clothes they need.
12. Open the student’s Book to page 38. Ask students to listen to the
cassette tape. Then, join in to practise the pronunciation when you play the tape again.
Step4 Post-task activity
Show any one of the vocabulary picture cards to individual students. Have them say “I need a new ..〞

Put up some picture cards from the previous units. Under each picture card write three words including the correct one. Ask students to come up and circle the rig ht word.
Step3 While-task procedure
1. introduce the words “tie〞, “belt〞, “socks〞, “shirt〞, “dress 〞and “coat〞using the picture and word cards
2. Play the cassette tape for Student’s Book page 39. Students listen first and then join in to practise the pronunciation when you play the tape again.
3. On the left side of the board put up the word cards for all the new words and on the right their picture cards but in a different order . Ask som e students to come up and draw lines between the right pairs.
4. Ask individual students to choose one clothing item on the board the y need and say “I need ..〞
5. Show students the picture card for “moon〞and say Moon begins with
the sound “m〞. Show the word card for “moon〞and say “M..Moon〞. Repeat . Show alphabet cards “M〞with the small letter “m〞. Play the tape for students t o follow in their books .
Step 4 Post-task activity
1. Show any one of the word cards to pairs of students . Ask one to
read the word and the other to find its picture card.
2. Hide any one of the word cards at your back and ask individual stu dents to guess Which word ?

Put some word cards from Units 6-8 up on the board. Ask various students to come up and get the card that you say . After all the cards are down, have the whole class read them together.
Step 3 While-task procedure
1. Put a chair in front of the class and sit down. Ask the class to
look and listen . Say “Put on your scarf.〞And do the action. Repeat several t imes . Do the same with “Take off your scarf.〞
2. Ask two boys to come to the front and sit on two chairs. Say “Bo ys, put on your scarf.〞And the boys must follow the command. Repeat with “Boys ,take off your scarfs.〞
3. Repeat step2 with two girls.
4. When students are familiar with the commands,. say Let’s play a gam
e . All the boys are in one team and all the girls are in another team . Let’s
see which team wins!
5. Give commands ,e.g “Boys,put on your scarf.〞“Girls,take off your scarfs.〞Etc.
Step4 Post-task activity
Play a game .The whole class stands up. You will touch a student secretly with a “magic wand〞
(ruler)and the student who can fell the magic touch must say loudly “I am a boy/ girl.〞before he / she is allowed to sit down.

Step1 Pre-task preparation
Put up the word cards for the vocabulary items of this unit on the board. Invite students to draw the correct picture above each card.
Step2 While-task procedure
1. Open the student’s Book to page 41. Discuss with students what new
clothes they need and what colour they like.
2. Put up the wallchart for page 41. tell a story something like this
:
May’s birthday was near. She went shopping with her mum . She needed a new dress for her birthday party. May was looking through all the dress on the rack when M um found a pretty green dress for her. But she didn’t like it. She like pink dre sses. At last she found one herself . It was beautiful .she thanked mum for buying her the new dress she liked.
3. Tell the story in English by reading out the words in each speech bubble.
4. Play the cassette tape . Students listen carefully and follow the se quence of the story . When they listen again , have then say the expressions with the tape.
Step3 Post-task activities
Get students to pretend that they are going shopping to buy a new item of clothing . They should work in groups of three, one being the shopkeeper , the other two the customers.
