《淘气的小猫》教案
一、教学目标:
1.知识目标:
掌握生词:淘气,捉迷藏,玩耍,调皮,干净,乖巧。
能听懂、会说、会读、会写以下句型:小猫爱玩耍;小猫很淘气;小猫调皮极了。
2.能力目标:
培养学生的听、说、读、写的能力,提高学生的语言表达能力和创造力。
3.情感目标:
使学生了解小猫的特点,培养学生关心小动物的习惯,培养学生的责任感。
二、教学重点:
1.生词的掌握和理解。
2.句型的听、说、读、写。
三、教学难点:
理解句型的用法,灵活运用。
四、教学过程:
Step 1. Warm-up
1. Greetings.
2. Sing a song "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star".
Step 2. Presentation
1. Show a picture of a naughty cat and ask the students:
- What animal is this?
- Do you know the word "naughty"?
- Can you describe this cat using the word "naughty"?
2. Intro duce the new words “playful”, “hide and seek”, “naughty”, “tidy”, “obedient” and explain the meanings.
3. Use pictures and actions to help students understand the new words.
Step 3. Practice
1. Listen to the story "The Naughty Cat" and answer the questions:
- What did the cat like to do?
- Was the cat tidy?
- Was the cat obedient?
2. Read the story together and discuss the cat's behavior:
- Do you think the cat's behavior is good or bad? Why?
Step 4. Production
1. Role play:
- Divide the class into small groups and assign roles for each student.
- Let students act out a similar situation using the new words learned.
- Encourage students to use the sentence pattern "The cat is playful/ naughty." to describe the cat's behavior.
2. Writing activity:
- Ask students to write a short paragraph about a playful or naughty pet they know.
- Encourage students to use the new words learned in their writing.
Step 5. Extension
1. Show pictures of different animals and ask students to describe their behavior using the new words.
2. Play a game "Who's the Naughtiest?" where students have
to guess which animal is being described based on their behavior.
3. Give students a questionnaire to fill in about their own pets' behavior.
Step 6. Summary and Assessment
1. Sum up the key points of the lesson and review the new words and sentence patterns.
2. Assess students' understanding and participation throughout the lesson.
Step 7. Homework
1. Write a short passage about a naughty cat or a playful
pet using the new words learned.
2. Prepare a short presentation about their own pets' behavior for the next class.
