I. 一般过去时的特殊疑问句的构成
(1) 疑问词 + was/ were + 主语 + 其他？
Where were they yesterday? 昨天他们在哪里？
Why was he late for school? 他为什么上学迟到了？
(2) 疑问词 + did + 主语 +实义动词 + 其他？
What did you do the day before yesterday? 前天你们做什么了？

II. 一般过去时常用的时间状语
