All electricalproducts consisting of adapter, SMPS, charger,house appliance, information technology productand video products are required to performelectrical safety test.The 19032 series combines Hipot, InsulationResistance( IR), Ground Bond (GB), LeakageCurrent (LC)/AC LC/DC LC and Dynamic FunctionTest. Savings can be up to 50% of productionline space, by not purchasing several safetytest instruments. This allows the operator near theground terminal to avoid an electrical hazard. ELECTRICAL SAFETY ANALYZER MODEL 19032/19032 PPATENT NO. 254135The OSC function is used to check if the connection is open (bad contact) or short (DUT short) during the test procedure. When a circuit is open during EST testing, bad product can pass as good product. When a short occurs during testing, proper screening can reduce the damage on the DUT.DUT's have capacitive loads (Cx) from tens of pF to several uF, in a normal state. A micro capacitance will occur on an open circuit interface once the connection is interrupted (as Cc in gure 2). In general, the capacitance is lower than 10pF; thus the total capacitance is lower than normal product. The capacitance is far higher than normal when the DUT is short or close to a short. This allows users to judge the short issue by using high/low limit values of capacitance change.Manufactures apply Chroma's AC source as a power supply to increase the input voltage stability for dynamic leakage current test. US6504381The 19032 electrical safety tester has Twinport ™ Technology. This patent and unique feature allows both hipot and ground bond to be tested simultaneously. This is idea for production test, as it allows test time be reduced by 50%.The 19032 has Flashover Detection, as other Chroma test instruments. Flashover is electricity transient or non-sequential discharge generated by the inner or surface of insulation components, which causes DUT's to lose the original insulation feature. Electrically generated carbonation of conductive material can damage the product. Test voltages or shift rate of leakage current is required. Flashover cannot be detected by a leakage current test, which makes the Flashover Detection a valuable tool in High Voltage testing.To allow for operator safety, Chroma invented the Floating Circuit, which is based on leading technology. With Floating status, the grounding leakage current will not exceed 3.5mA, no matter what the withstand voltage is. This complies with EN50191 for outputting to ground terminal within current limit and for protecting the operator from electric shock.The High Limit of Hipot test currently ranges from 5 -10mA. However, there are other DUT's such as Safety Integrated Analyzer of EMI Filter or large motors requiring a large amount of power. The 19032-P enhances the power of the 19032 to equip the capabilities of outputting and measuring AC 100mA/DC 25mA.This is used to integrate the high charge current for other safety test, as any integrated analyzer for use with high leakage current or large-sized electrical safety equipment. This maximizes the e ciency of the production line and quality assurance.The design of the 500VA complies with the requirement of IEC/UL output power to add the selection function of no protection for trip circuit under short current 200mA and 100mA .The ultimate purpose of safety testing is to protect users for electrical hazard. The 19032-P has a GFI function to protect the operator. The GFI function can cut-o the power output immediately, while human body is experiencing electric shock. The GFI function detects the current from the Earth (operator) and LOW terminal (device). The voltage output will be cut-o , if the current is over 0.5mA.The current brimmed after ow through insulation resistance, is called Leakage Current. When the leakage current goes through the human body, the current flows to Earth via the human body. The leakage current is testing under an operating state. The human body RC network will be added to leakage current in real conditions.The leakage current has different testing modes and standards in accordance with the di erent safety test and test points. The most common test are Earth Leakage Current, Patient Leakage Current and Patient Slave Leakage Current. The 19032 is used with different dynamic leakage current modules and human body simulation, equivalent circuit for the requirements of various safety modules. It can apply to Electrical Safety Testing for Household Appliances, VideoProduct, Medical Equipment and etc.POWER SUPPLIES(SMPS), ADAPTER AND CHARGER SAFETY TESTINGInformation technology is a big part of our daily life. The equivalent stray capacitance will also be generated on an isolation transformer, even if it is a floating circuit. The stray capacitance results in leakage current and electric shock to the users. The 19032, along with the 6000-05/07/08 leakage current scanner, have P1/P2 measurement function which is able to measure dynamic leakage current on output terminals. The 19032 provides an isolation test point with high voltage which allow you not to change the xture or cable manually, but perform P-S Hipot test directly after P-G Hipot test.If there is danger in making contact with the output terminal (Secondary), dynamic leakage current test also need to be performed.LED in the lighting industry is widespread and are being used in a variety of products. EachLED and power product needs to be tested for withstand voltage, insulation, groundingresistance and leakage current , for protection from personnel electric shock.Chroma19032 with 4HV/4GC ScannerVideo products include DVD recorders, LCD's, TV's, audio amplifiers, stereos and etc. These products have mass power output with separate safety standards. The main circuit design of mass power is a signal output terminal, not to mention an increase in temperature and heat dissipation of electronic component. Open voltage of some video products are over 35Vac peak or 60Vdc peak; this allows for U1 dynamic leakage current test as required. Also, normal/reverse/single fault normal/single fault reverse four powers and earth switch, make the safety test difficult and complex. The basic measuring circuit for the enclosure leakage current is as in the figure. It shows here measurement Type BF and CF is a special requirement for medical equipment. DC leakage current should be isolated separately and limited within 50uA limited, which is mentioned in the medical safety standard. This function has already been added to the 6000-08 LC scanner. There is a specific technique to installing COM Express modules. It is highly recommended to follow your vendor’s documentation.There are also good instructional videos on YouTube on this subject. The fan speed is fixed by the voltage selected via the jumper.PowerDescriptionThe COM Express carriers are designed to be powered from a single +12V power supply. The carrier board features a 3.5mm screw terminal style connector.The COM Express carrier generates all of the necessary voltages on board.A Panasonic BR1225A/FA Lithium battery provides the VBAT for the COM Express module.COM Express Carrier Current Sourcing CapabilitiesThe following are the maximum current capabilities of the CCG0xx unit. These values cannot be exceeded.Current Consumption informationThe majority of the current consumption is from the COM Express module, the PCI-104 and PC104 Express cards. Other sources of current consumption are USB, SATA HDD drives, etc.The following table can be used to help estimate the total current consumption of you COM Express carrier solution. When building up your COM Express solution you should use your vendor provided datasheets to help create an more precise power estimate.These signals can be used with +12V power supplies that provide Power Good and can utilize a Power Good signal. Power Good is an open drain signal and is pulled up to +5V on the COM Express carrier.PCI-104 and PC/104 Express ExpansionDescriptionDepending on the model, CCG0xx Carrier Boards have PCI-104 expansion or PC/104 Express expansion or both.A PCI-104 interface is provided on the COM Express carrier. Refer to the COM Express module’s documentation for more details.HDMIAn HDMI connector is provided on the COM Express carrier.LVDS VideoDescriptionThe COM Express carrier provides dual 18 or 24 bit LVDS display channels via P4, which are connected directly from the COM Express module. LVDS panel supply power is selected with jumper J1 and backlight power is selected with jumper J2. Both are current limited to 500 mA with Raychem resettable ploy fuses.LVDS BacklightPins 1-2 marked with white lineVGAStandard 15 Pin VGA is available at P26. This header can be adapted to a standard DB15 female the CBG070 cable.USB 2.0DescriptionThe COM Express carrier implements four USB 2.0 connections via two USB connectors. Over current protection and power supply filtering is provided.Only the USB host features of the COM Express specification have been implemented, USB client features are not supported.Compact Flash InterfaceA Type I Compact Flash socket is available. The Compact Flash utilizes the COM Express Module IDE interface. Note that this Compact Flash interface is NOT a hot swappable interface. The Compact Flash is only detected at bootup by the BIOS. The unit should be powered off before installing or removing the Compact Flash card.Audio InterfaceThe COM Expres Carrier features two 3.5mm stereo audio jacks that function as follows:Audio ConnectorsInput Output1.The Microphone input is equipped with a Phantom Power circuit.2.The Headphone output is amplified by the CS4207 Codec.Audio Selection JumpersJ7J6J9J8J10* J10 Provides the CS4207 Audio Codec with the Sense input:The Sense input is used by Audio Codecs to detect the presence of an audio plug being installed into an audio jack, via a switch inside the jack. The Audio jacks on the COM Express carrier do NOT have this switch, so we have provided these jumpers to mimic that function.Not all operating systems require this sense input to be satisfied, for example audio under Ubuntu 10.04 LTS will function fine without the Jumpers, however audio under Windows XP will not.SATADescriptionThe COM Express carrier provides two SATA HDD connections and one mSATA socket. Port1 and Port2 are standard RS232 and Port3 and Port4 are RS485. The SMSC SCH3114 Super I/O chip is used to facilitate the serial I/O. Designed for high volume cassette-to-cassette wafer fab operations, the substrates are currently available in 150 mm and 200 mm diameters. In addition, we have the capability to manufacture 300 mm and 450 mm diameter material (contact factory).Our unique patent-pending manufacturing process enables large diameter, low cost substrates with a shape and finish ready for semiconductor processing. Typical manufacturing processes used for poly-AlN cannot consistently meet the SEMI shape and surface finish requirements for volume wafer production. Semiconductor applications that require matching thermal expansion coefficient, and require a high thermal conductivity, engineered poly-AlN wafers are a cost effective solution. Compared to sapphire substrates, the CTE match with GaN is improved by 10X. This will yield longer life and improved performance due to lower dislocation density.Standard material is double side polished (single-side and unpolished wafers are also available), and the standard thickness for 150 mm wafers is 635 +/- 15 um. Thicker or thinner wafers can also be available.ApplicationsLayer Transfer:With much of today’s research for LED’s, power conversion devices, and other devices aimed at advanced performance with improved substrates, poly-AlN offers an excellent platform for layer transfer technology where cost, device performance, and thermal management need to be critically balanced to lead the industry.Mechanical wafers: Polycrystalline AlN is well suited for mec hanical wafer applications as a lower cost substitute for sapphire, or where a thermal conductivity higher than sapphire would help improve device performance and cost. With a 200 mm and beyond wafer diameter, polycrystalline AlN can enable large diameter silicon processing where sapphire cannot go.Handle Wafers:With an electrical resistivity of over 1E14 Ohm-cm, polycrystalline AlN is also well suited as a handle wafer in SOI and SOS wafer applications, enabling CMOS and MEMS technologies to experience the cost and capacity benefits of 200 mm and beyond processing.Heat Spreaders: For device manufacturing where thermal management plays a pivotal role in device performance, poly-AlN is an ideal material for eliminating heat. With a thermal conductivity several times higher than sapphire, AlN can be used to transport thermal energy away from devices quickly.Selection of AlN Materials OfferedHP-AlN: High Purity Aluminum Nitride- this material contains no sintering aid and generally has impurities (excluding oxygen) in the PPM range. This is commonly used in semiconductor and military applications where purity is critical.HR-AlN: High Reflectivity (white) Aluminum Nitride- this material is very white, similar to alumina, and is used for optical applications where thermal conductivity needs to be much higher than alumina and material is required to be electrically insulating.ZP-AlN: Zero Porosity Aluminum Nitride- while most available AlN is considered ‘fully dense’, SEM and AFM can reveal porosity in the 2+ um range.
