Maria Arredondo，1985年7月6日降生于挪威的文内斯拉（Vennesla）小镇。从慢而深情的“Cross Every River”到疯狂有力的快歌如“Mad Summer”，Maria是个跨过古典和流行界的知名歌手，她的声音有着穿透人心的感染力，具磁性又很迷人，重要的是能带听众走进歌手的内心世界，感受真挚的情感。她的第一张同名专辑请来了诸如Jonas von Der Burg, Espen Lind, 这样的大牌制作人。作曲者也是水准很高，Christian Ingebrigtsen，Silje Nergaard等都为她操刀动笔。这张专辑甫一出世，就在挪威最大的报纸的音乐版上获得了最高的评价，成为白金销量的专辑。
