justice 英语作文

justice 英语作文

justice 英语作文Justice is a concept that is often debated and interpreted in various ways. Some people believe that justice is about fairness and equality, while others think it is about punishment and retribution. In my opinion, justice is about finding the right balance between these two ideas. When it comes to justice, it is important to consider the perspective of the victim. They have been wronged in some way, and justice should ensure that they are compensated for their suffering. This could mean receiving financial compensation, an apology, or some other form of restitution. On the other hand, justice should also take into account the perspective of the perpetrator. While they should face consequences for their actions, it is also important to consider rehabilitation and the opportunity for them to learn from their mistakes and become bettermembers of society. In the legal system, justice is often associated with the idea of "innocent until proven guilty." This means that everyone has the right to a fair trial and the opportunity to defend themselves against any accusations. This is an important aspect of justice that ensures that no one is unfairly punished. In some cases, justice may also involve forgiveness and reconciliation. This can be a difficult concept to grapple with, especially when the harm caused is significant. However, in some situations, it may be the best way to move forward and prevent further harm.In conclusion, justice is a complex and multifaceted concept that can be interpreted in many different ways. It is important to consider the perspectives of all parties involved and strive to find a balance that is fair and equitable.。

拒绝沉默为正义发声作文

拒绝沉默为正义发声作文

拒绝沉默为正义发声作文英文回答:As an individual, I firmly believe in the power of speaking up for justice. Remaining silent in the face of injustice not only perpetuates the problem, but it also allows the oppressors to continue their harmful actions unchecked. By refusing to stay silent, we can bringattention to important issues and work towards creating a more just society.Speaking up for justice is crucial because it gives a voice to the marginalized and oppressed. When we speak out against inequality, discrimination, and injustice, we are advocating for those who may not have the same platform or opportunity to do so themselves. For example, imagine a scenario where a group of individuals is being unfairly treated due to their race or ethnicity. By remaining silent, we are complicit in their mistreatment. However, byspeaking up and using our voice to raise awareness, we canhelp to dismantle systemic racism and promote equality.Speaking up for justice also holds those in power accountable for their actions. When we refuse to be silent, we are demanding that those responsible for injustice be held responsible for their actions. This can be seen in various instances, such as the #MeToo movement, where survivors of sexual assault and harassment spoke outagainst their perpetrators. By breaking the silence, these individuals not only brought attention to the issue butalso held those responsible accountable for their actions.Additionally, speaking up for justice can lead to positive change and societal progress. History has shown us that many significant advancements have been made as aresult of individuals refusing to stay silent. For instance, the civil rights movement in the United States was fueledby the voices and actions of countless individuals whospoke out against racial segregation and discrimination. Their bravery and determination led to the passing of important legislation that granted equal rights and protections to all citizens.中文回答:作为一个个体,我坚信发声为正义的力量。

正义捍卫公平的英语作文

正义捍卫公平的英语作文

Justice is a fundamental concept in society, embodying the principles of fairness, equality, and impartiality. It is the cornerstone of a wellfunctioning community, ensuring that every individual receives what they are rightfully due without bias or favoritism. The pursuit of justice is a continuous journey that requires the collective effort of all members of society, from the legal system to everyday citizens. In an essay on justice defending fairness, one might begin by defining the term justice and its various interpretations across different cultures and philosophies. For instance, the Greek philosopher Aristotle viewed justice as a form of fairness that treats equals equally and unequals unequally, according to their merits. The essay could then delve into the importance of justice in maintaining social order and harmony.Without justice, societies would be plagued by chaos,as individuals would be left to their own devices, potentially leading to the exploitation of the weak by the strong. Justice provides a framework for resolving disputes and conflicts in a manner that is perceived as equitable by all parties involved. The role of the legal system in upholding justice is paramount. The essay could discuss how laws are designed to protect the rights of individuals and to ensure that those who break the law face appropriate consequences. It is through the consistent application of these laws that fairness is maintained and the rule of law is preserved. However, the essay might also acknowledge that the pursuit of justice is not without its challenges. It could explore the various ways in which the justice system can fail to deliver fairness, such as through corruption, bias,or the unequal distribution of resources. In these cases,it is the responsibility of society to demand reform and to hold those in power accountable.Furthermore, the essay could touch upon the role of individuals in promoting justice. It is not solely the responsibility of the legal system every person has a part to play in advocating for fairness and standing up against injustice when they witness it.This could involve raising awareness, supporting organizations that fight for justice,or simply treating others with the respect and equality they deserve. In conclusion, the essay would emphasize that justice is an ongoing process that requires vigilance and dedication from all members of society. It is through our collective efforts to uphold fairness that we can build a more just and equitable world for everyone.。

沉默不总是金英语作文

沉默不总是金英语作文

沉默不总是金英语作文英文回答:Silence is often considered a virtue, a time to reflect and gather our thoughts before speaking. However, while silence can be beneficial in certain situations, it is not always the golden rule that it is often made out to be. There are times when we need to speak out, to stand up for what we believe in, or to defend ourselves. There are times when silence can be interpreted as weakness or as giving assent to something we do not agree with.In some cases, silence can be a form of passive aggression, a way of punishing someone without directly confronting them. It can be a way of avoiding difficult conversations or of shirking our responsibilities. In these situations, silence is not a positive force. It is a way of 逃避, and it can have negative consequences for both the individuals involved and for the relationship between them.Of course, there are also times when silence is the best course of action. When we are angry or upset, it can be better to take a moment to calm down before speaking. When we are in a situation where we might say something we regret, it can be better to remain silent. In these situations, silence can be a way of protecting ourselves and others.Ultimately, whether or not silence is golden depends on the situation. There are times when it is the best course of action, and there are times when it is not. It is important to be able to recognize the difference between these two situations and to act accordingly.中文回答:沉默并不总是一种美德,它可以是思考和整理思绪后再说话的时间。

沉默不总是金英语作文

沉默不总是金英语作文

沉默不总是金英语作文Silence is Not Always Golden。

Silence, often lauded for its calming and introspective qualities, has long been associated with wisdom and peace. The adage "Silence is golden" encapsulates the idea that restraint in speech can be beneficial, promoting reflection, avoiding conflict, and allowing others to express themselves. However, this notion does not hold universally true, as there are numerous contexts where silence can be damaging, leading to misunderstandings, perpetuating injustices, or allowing harm to continue unchecked.### The Power of Words。

Words are a powerful tool. They can inspire, inform, comfort, and heal. When used wisely, words can bridge gaps, create understanding, and promote change. History isreplete with examples of individuals who used their voicesto challenge the status quo and bring about social, political, or cultural revolutions. Figures like Martin Luther King Jr., Mahatma Gandhi, and Nelson Mandela spoke out against injustice, using their words to inspiremillions and bring about significant change. However, when people choose to remain silent in the face of wrongdoing, they inadvertently become complicit in the harm being inflicted. This is particularly true in cases of discrimination, abuse, or injustice, where silence can give tacit approval to the wrongdoings. By not speaking out, one might contribute to the perpetuation of harmful practices or ideologies.### Silence in Personal Relationships。

In certain situations, remaining silent can convey a message more effectively than any words. When faced with discrimination, prejudice, or injustice, silence can be a way to protest and challenge the status quo.Silence can be a form of resistance because it denies the oppressor the satisfaction of a reaction. Maybe many of you have a variety kinds of answers toward this question, just like “A thousand people eyes with 1,000 Hamlet.” As for justice, the author, Michael Sandel, once said: …It‟s how justice distributes what we value most that we judge the society is just or not.‟The priceless articles can be substantial, like welfare, as well as something immaterial, like opportunities. They are rare and desirable things. If we distribute all of them perfectly, making everyone deserves what they want, then this is the justice. The author lists three approaches toward the justice: utilitarianism, liberalism, virtue. For utilitarianism, the point of this view is …to seek the greatest happiness of the greatest people,‟as well as ensure the majority happiness of most people. For instance, the tobacco companies suggest that the promotion of smoking is not useless for it saves up a lot of money in medical expenditure because of the early death of these smokers, in contrast with the large amount of the public medical costs result from diseases such as cancers. For liberalism, they hold the view that everyone has their own liberty as long as they have on positive damages to other people. It has become the foundation of the theory of free market and speeches. They pay more attention to the practical justice and less to the moral aspect of justice. The people in favor of the liberalism try to get the most profit with the liberty, regarding this as their explanation of justice. The final opinion is about virtue. The virtue may derive from family education, common social customs and religion, which leads to the principle of “serve others well.”It may reflect in many dilemmas that make us start to ponder over the essence of the justice. Some condition, for example, the runaway trolley, that what you do might be correct from the aspect of the reality, but is wrong from the basis of virtue. There is no doubt that virtue is a considerable factor in justice. In my view of what is justice, I think I can explain it from the instance ofthe Runaway Trolley. Actually, everyone may get into this dilemma when he faces the decision to turn right to hit the one worker or go straight to hit the five workers. In fact, it‟s the driver‟s freedom to decide which sideway he should turn to. From the liberalism, we come up to the conclusion that if he follows his freedom to do, this is justice. But people support virtue may say: …What you do is out of morality; you cannot sacrifice five people to save only one people, for five is bigger than one!‟ The utilitarian maybe consider that the cost of one is less than the cost of five, in order to maintain the profit of the majority, we should choose to save the five people. In fact, each of them is correct, but not totally correct. The justice is compounded with factors like liberty, right and morality, so we cannot judge whether it fits to justice only from one aspect. What‟s more, the luck can also contribute to the justice. My failure is not because that the society is not just, it‟s my lack of luck to own the capability to succeed in the society. In a word, the justice is a complex definition.Justice should be a mirror, which reflects your inner thoughts. Your action cannot avoid being reflect by the mirror, as well as you can‟t do out of your mind. I think justice is not only the precise distribution but the correct evaluation of things. In essence, we must “follow your heart”, that‟s the true justice of yourself, to break the indefinite state of your mind. Maybe killing five or one is equal, for it eventually leads to death, but if you mind think it right, the comment of it produces in yourself. When each of us holds our own comment toward everything, the justice appears. However, if you do something not in a clear mind, you never feel satisfaction to what you do, how can you say you grasp the justice? We are now pursuing the true justice, but we should not neglect that we should also focus on those factors which shape ourselves. Only by them can we reach the stage of understanding what justice means to us. The justice cannot be researched in a solitary aspect but from different angles. When you finally make it clear in your mind, the justice is always there.Joseph WuYongcheng 吴永成0111126043。
