The left links on this page allow access to proprietary information stored in Capital IQ. The section includes shortcuts to the Capital IQ Excel Plug-In, Capital IQ Outlook Plug-In and Capital IQ Real-Time™. Please contact your Account Manager if you are interested in obtaining access any of these tools. Finally, the left links include administrative tools, which allow you to monitor your team’s usage of Capital IQ.
To search by exchange on which the company trades, you can use the exchange abbreviation to further limit your results. Enter the exchange abbreviation, followed by a colon and the ticker (e.g. ‘NasdaqGS:MSFT): Note: All exchange abbreviations in Capital IQ are the standard abbreviations.

Company Search Company Details
Enter the name and click the button. You may use partial spelling when searching by name. To Search By: Ticker Symbol ― Enter ‘t=’ and then the ticker symbol. CUSIP ― Enter ‘csp=’ and then the CUSIP identifier. Entering a CUSIP will return company matches, not individual securities. ISIN ― Enter ‘i=’ and then the ISIN identifier. SEDOL ― Enter ‘s=’ and then the SEDOL identifier. Note: When searching for people, you can search by last name only, ‘last name, first name’, or by ‘first name last name.’ Enter your search text in the format: ‘Smith,’ ‘Smith, John,’ or ‘John Smith’ respectively.
The My Capital IQ Page features shortcuts to reference materials and helpful resources to guide our users through the database. We offer our new users a Quick Tour and Training On Demand - online tutorials explaining and pointing out specific areas of interest.
