Unit1 单元教学目标【内容来源】人民教育出版社(一起点)四年级下册Unit1一、语言技能目标第一层次:1. 能够听懂、会说restaurant, post office, bank, grocery, crossroads等表示场所和地理位置的词汇,以及across from, next to, between等表示方位的词汇和turn left, turn right, go straight等表示行进方向的词汇;能够根据语境恰当使用,并能借助拼读规律认读和识记生词。

二、教学建议A. Listen and fill in the blanks.1. 复习本单元词汇。

可以通过游戏的形式进行复习,如:Bomb game, Guessing game等,增加活动的趣味性,也可以让学生迅速进入学习状态。

2. 请学生观察A项图片,先熟悉一下这个街区,然后再读一读图片右上角给出的四个单词,明确街区中空白处所缺少的都是哪些地方。

3. 播放A项录音。

学生先整体听一遍,了解听力材料的内容,然后再听并完成A项练习。

4. 订正答案。

教师可以通过提问的方式订正答案,如:Where is the bank? 还可以让学生用描述的方式说出四个地点的位置,如:The grocery is ...(答案:图框从上至下,从左至右为C、B、A、D)B. Read, draw the route and write.1. 请学生阅读短文,并要求他们在读懂短文后完成画路线的任务。

2. 学生带着问题阅读课文,然后独自完成任务。

然后可以同桌之间交流一下每人所画出的路线。

3. 教师请学生描述自己画出的路线。

每个学生所画的路线图不一定完全一样,只要路线可以达到目的地,又能用到许多本单元学到的目标词汇和功能句,教师就应给予奖励。

4. 请学生完成课文后面的书写练习,提醒他们注意书写规范。

C. Self-assessment.引导学生根据课本第77页评价描述,进行自我评价。

1. 学生如果能说出虚线框中的地点名称并能描述它们的位置,就可以把词汇外面的虚线框涂成自己喜欢的颜色。

2. 教师可以将儿歌中rain,away这两个单词写在黑板上,然后把A项活动中的六个单词也呈现给学生,学生仔细观察并尝试读一读这些单词,找出它们含有的共同字母组合,引入本课字母组合ai和ay的学习。

3. 教师播放A项录音两遍,学生听录音并指着相应的单词,感知字母组合ai和ay在单词中的发音。

4. 第三遍播放录音,学生边听边模仿跟读,体验字母组合ai和ay在单词中的发音。

5. 学生自己读单词,想一想字母组合ai和ay在单词中的发音。

学生总结出字母组合ai和ay的发音规律后,教师可以出示单词卡,请学生边读单词边将词卡贴到黑板上相应的位置。

注意要把含有ai和ay的单词分两列摆放。

6. 教师再次播放录音,学生指着相应的单词并大声跟读。

学生可以在小组内互相读一读A项单词。

二、教学建议
A. Look, listen and repeat.
1. 热身活动。

(1) 教师带领学生做TPR活动,如:Show me your left hand. Show me your right hand. Turn left. Turn right.等,让学生先初步感知一下左、右和左转、右转这些单词和短语的音与义。

(2) 复习表示地点的词汇。

教师可以利用本单元的主情境图,以听一听,猜一猜的方式进行,如教师说:We can send a letter there, and we can buy stamps there. It’s between the bookshop and the grocery. What place is it? 引导学生猜测出“post office”这个词。

2. 呈现新的学习内容。

(1) 教师可以出示“左转”“右转”和“直行”的交通标志,帮助学生说出本课核心词汇:turn left, turn right, go straight, 并在黑板上板书这三个短语。

在帮助学生理解这三个短语意义的基础上,特别要关注学生是否能正确读准straight的发音,并在字母组合ai下画线,为本单元的语音教学做好铺垫。

(2) 出示一个十字路口的照片或图片,自然引出生词crossroads,并板书在黑板上。

为了让学生更好地理解这个词,教师可以在图片或照片上画出互相垂直的十字线,引导说:People can go straight or turn left or turn right at the crossroads.然后引导学生注意生词的形。

这个词是由两个独立成词的部分组合而成,可以适当地向学生分别解释cross和roads的含义,就cross和第一课学过的across可以稍作辨析解释,因为十字路口包括了多条道路,所以roads用的是复数形式,这样对生词构成的适当引导有利于学生记忆与运用好该生词。

对学习程度好的学生,还可以让他们注意与crossroads搭配的介词是at,帮助学生在未来的学习中建立名词与介词搭配的意识,并将这个搭配作为词块整体记忆,正确使用。

(3) 教师也可以直接呈现单元主情境图,通过交流的方式复习第一课所学的内容并过渡到A项的新授课学习阶段。

如教师说:Look, this is Lily’s neighbourhood. What places can you see in her neighbourhood? Where is Star School? Who is talking with Lily? What are they talking about? 教师还可以通过复习词汇,利用课件动态呈现出A项主题图中的街区。

(4) 接续上一个教学步骤,教师引导学生回答问题。

S1: I can see a grocery in the neighbourhood.
S2: I can see a school.
S3: A young man is talking with Lily.
S4: They are talking about Lily’s neighbourhood.
S5: The young man is asking the way.

教师鼓励学生集思广益,并把学生说出的各种答案板书在黑板上,特别要把与本课要听的对话中的场所名词按照课本中呈现的方位上下左右地板书在黑板上,以供下面的教学步骤用。

(5) 教师提出第一遍听录音的要求:Now close your textbooks, let’s listen to a dialogue. What are they talking about?学生带着问题听第一遍录音。

(6) 听后教师和学生一起核对答案。

学生可能会有如下回答。

Ss: The young man wants to go to a post office.
Ss: He doesn’t know where the post office is.
Ss: He is asking Lily the way to the post office.
(7) 学生再次听录音,教师要求学生注意Lily是怎样告诉那个年轻人去邮局的路线的。

听后教师和学生一起复述Lily告诉年轻人到邮局的路线。

同时可以通过课件演示让学生重点关注那个年轻人是怎么到达邮局的。

3. 语言学习。

(1) 教师要求学生打开课本,核对对话录音内容,特别注意红色字部分。

(2) 学习对话中出现的新的指路短语和功能句。

让学生合上课本,可以用课件把这段对话展示出来,留出几分钟时间,要求学生继续看这段对话,并告诉学生,几分钟后对话的某些部分会消失,让学生补充所缺的部分。

第一次先把场所名词隐去,第二次可以把本课的核心词隐去,对程度好的学生,最后可以把功能句隐去。

然后可以把学生按照座位或男女生分成两大组,通过竞赛的方式补全对话。

(3) 全班再次听对话录音,跟读对话。

教师引导学生模仿对话的语音与语调。

4. 朗读对话。

(1) 师生分角色朗读对话,学生之间分角色朗读对话。

(2) 可以请几组学生展示朗读。

B. Let’s play.
1. 教师可利用黑板上的街区图进行对话操练。

教师提问:Excuse me. How can I get to the park?学生观察图片,按照两人小组尝试回答。

2. 也可以让学生利用场所单词小卡片,在自己与同桌两人的课桌上摆放一个模拟街区,然后两人一组进行问答操练。

3. 还可以将教室布置成街区的样子,如把全班分成若干个四人小组,在每个组的一张课桌上,插上或放上一面小旗子,旗面上贴上一个全班都能看见的场所名词。

学生利用课堂中桌椅的行与列作为街道,然后根据每个小组的具体位置,身临其境地进行问答练习,并要求组内一名学生把本组编制的对话写下来,鼓励学生尽量多地运用到本课新授词汇与功能句。

4. 教师可以请几组学生表演对话,选出对话编制优秀的组。

三、备选活动
教师可以要求学生做“社区小设计师”的游戏。

这个游戏还可以为下面的Fun Time 的教学作铺垫。

游戏要求每个学生把自己当作一个社区的设计师,按照自己的喜好和对环境的理解,自由地设计出自己生活的社区详图,并把自己的设想绘制在一张A4纸张上。

同时用简笔画画出并剪成一个可以自由移动小纸人。

同桌互换设计图纸,然后进行问答活动,例如学生A拿到同桌学生B的设计图,学生A把小纸人放在图中一个场所处,提出要从此处到图中另一个地点,学生B根据记忆告诉学生A线路图,学生A听从B的指引,移动小纸人,到指定处。

如果B指错路或A没听
清指令,还可以提出问题确认。

这个活动还可以拓展为提供去某场所的多条线路。

然后互换角色操练学生A的设计图。

设计图和小纸人要求学生利用课余时间制作,不要占用课堂时间。

教师还可以先和一位学生在全班示范后,再让其他学生模仿操练。

C. Let’s write.
1. 学生自己读一读C项所给的句子,并根据街区图,先尝试口头回答问题。

2. 教师在四线三格中示范书写,引导学生自主观察,然后能自己规范地书写答案。
