The computers come with Linuxpre-installed. In addition, the UC-7101 has an internal SD socket for storage expansion to offer high performance communication with unlimited storage in a super-compact, palm-size box. All computers in the series come with RS-232/422/485 serial ports and 10/100 Mbps Ethernet LAN ports to provide users witha versatile communication platform.The UC-7101 series computers use the Moxa ART ARM9 192 MHz RISC CPU. Unlike the x86 CPU, which uses a CISC design, the ARM9’s RISC design architecture and modern semiconductor technology provide thesecomputers with a powerful computing engine and communication functions, but without generating too much heat. The built-in NOR Flash ROM (8 MB) and SDRAM (16 MB) give you plenty of storage capacity, and the SD socket provides greater flexibility for running various applications. The LAN ports built into the ARM9 allow the UC-7101 computers to be used as communication platforms for basic data acquisition and protocol conversion applications, and the RS-232/422/485 serial ports allow you to connect a variety of serial devices.The UC-7101 comes with the µClinux operating system pre-installed. Software written for desktop PCs is easily ported to the UC-7101 computers with a GNU cross complier, so that you will not need to spend time modifying existing software code. The SD 2.0 can be used to provide up to 32 GB of additional memory space. To install an SD card, first remove the outer cover of the embedded computer to access the SD slot. The internal SD slot is located on the top side of the UC-7101’s main board, in the slot on the right side of the UC-7101. Plug the SD card into the socket directly.The SD card slot is spring-loaded for convenient removal; simply depress the card slightly with your finger, and then quickly remove pressure to allow the card to pop out.Additional FunctionsReset ButtonPress the RESET button continuously and hold for more than 5 seconds to load the factory default configuration.After loading the factory defaults, the system will reboot automatically. The System Ready LED will blink for the first 5 seconds. We recommend that you only use this function if the software is not working properly. When using the µClinux system software, it is safest to always use the reboot command when doing a soft restart / system reset. This will protect the integrity of your system. The reset button is NOT designed as a hard reboot.Real Time ClockThe real time clock in the UC-7101 embedded computers is powered by a lithium battery. We stronglyrecommend that you get help from Moxa’s technical support team to replace the lithium battery. It requires only two bypass capacitors for complete CMOS/TTL compatibility.Basic building blocks of the HCPL-7100/7101 are a CMOS LED driver IC, an AlGaAs LED,and a CMOS detector IC. A CMOS or TTL logic input signal controls the LED driver IC which supplies current to the LED. The detector IC incorporates an integrated photodiode, a high-speed trans-impedance amplifier and a voltage comparator with hysteresis. The 3-state output is CMOS and TTLcompatible and is controlled by the output enable pin, V OE .The HCPL-7100/7101 consumes very little power, due to theCMOS IC technology and the light coupling system. Because the optocoupler uses high-speed CMOS IC technology, the inputs and output are fully compatible with all +5 V TTL and CMOS logic. TTL or CMOS logic can be connected directly to the inputs and output; no external interface circuitry is required.As shown in Figure 1, the only external components required for proper operation are two ceramic bypass capacitors. Capacitor values should be between 0.01 µF and 0.1 µF. For each capacitor, the total lead length between both ends of the capacitor and the power-supply pins should not exceed 20 mm. Figure 2 illustrates the recommended printed circuit board layout for the HCPL-7100/7101. Propagation Delay, Pulse-Width Distortion, and Propagation Delay Skew Propagation delay is a figure of merit which describes how quickly a logic signal propagates through a system. The propaga-tion delay from low to high (t PLH) is the amount of time required for an input signal to propagate to the output, causing the output to change from low to high. Similarly, the propagation delay from high to low (t PHL) is the amount of time required for the input signal to propagate to the output, causing the output to change from high to low (see Figure 7).Pulse-width distortion (PWD) results when t PLH and t PHL differ in value. PWD is defined as thedifference between t PLH and t PHLand often determines the maxi-mum data rate capability of atransmission system. PWD can beexpressed in percent by dividingthe PWD (in ns) by the minimumpulse width (in ns) beingtransmitted. Typically, PWD onthe order of 20-30% of theminimum pulse width is tolerable;the exact figure depends on theparticular application (RS232,RS422, T-1, etc.).Propagation delay skew, t PSK, isan important parameter to con-sider in parallel data applicationswhere synchronization of signalson parallel data lines is a concern.If the parallel data is being sentthrough a group of optocouplers,differences in propagation delayswill cause the data to arrive at theoutputs of the optocouplers atdifferent times. If this differencein propagation delays is largeenough, it will determine themaximum rate at which paralleldata can be sent through theoptocouplers.Propagation delay skew is definedas the difference between theminimum and maximum propaga-tion delays, either t PLH or t PHL, forany given group of optocouplerswhich are operating under thesame conditions (i.e., the samesupply voltage, output load, andoperating temperature). As illus-trated in Figure 10, if the inputsof a group of optocouplers areswitched either ON or OFF at thesame time, t PSK is the differencebetween the shortest propagationdelay, either t PLH or t PHL, and thelongest propagation delay, eithert PLH or t PHL.As mentioned earlier, t PSK candetermine the maximum paralleldata transmission rate. Figure 11is the timing diagram of a typicalparallel data application with boththe clock and the data lines beingsent through optocouplers. Thefigure shows data and clocksignals at the inputs and outputsof the optocouplers. To obtain themaximum data transmission rate,both edges of the clock signal arebeing used to clock the data; ifonly one edge were used, theclock signal would need to betwice as fast.Propagation delay skew repre-sents the uncertainty of where anedge might be after being sentthrough an optocoupler. Figure11 shows that there will beuncertainty in both the data andthe clock lines. It is importantthat these two areas of uncertaintynot overlap, otherwise the clocksignal might arrive before all ofthe data outputs have settled, orsome of the data outputs maystart to change before the clocksignal has arrived. From theseconsiderations, the absoluteminimum pulse width that can besent through optocouplers in aparallel application is twice t PSK. Acautious design should use aslightly longer pulse width toensure that any additionaluncertainty in the rest of thecircuit does not cause a problem.The HCPL-7101 optocoupler offersthe advantages of guaranteedspecifications for propagationdelays, pulse-width distortion andpropagation delay skew over therecommended temperature, andpower supply ranges.1-415。

To begin, remove the top screw.Step 4.Gently insert the SSD into the slot.Step 5.Refasten the screw to secure the SSD.Repeat Steps 3 to 5 to install the remaining SSDs. Step 6.Replace the front panel after installing all SSDsStep 7.On the rear of the SSD7101A-1, refasten the 6 screws that were removed in step 1.Setting up the SSD7101A-1 for a Windows operating system1.Verifying InstallationAfter booting Windows, open Device Manager, and expand Disk drives.The installed NVMe Samsung SSD 960 should be displayed:2.Driver Installation1)Download the Windows driver package from the HighPoint website:/USA_new/series-ssd7101a-1-download.htm2)Once downloaded, locate the folder you downloaded the driver to.Extract the driver package and double click the setup.exe file to startthe Driver Setup Wizard.3)Follow the wizard and reboot system to complete the driverinstallation.4)Rebooting. Download the HighPoint NVMe Manager Software package from the HighPoint website:/USA_new/series-ssd7101a-1-download.htm1)Extract the package and double-click the setup.exe program to installthe software.2)The HighPoint NVMe RAID Manager will configure the SSD7101A-1NVMe drive automatically after installation is complete.3)Open Windows Disk Management and check to make sure the SSDdrive is configured.4)Create and format the partition using Disk Management to start usingthe SSD7101A-1 drive.Setting up the SSD7101A-1 for a Linux Distribution Please download the Linux Software Package from the HighPoint Website:/USA_new/series-ssd7101a-1-download.htmPlease follow the Linux Installation guide included with the software package to install and setup the SSD7101A-1 drive.Using the HighPoint NVMe Manager1.Starting the HighPoint NVMe ManagerDouble click the Desktop ICON to start the Web browser. It willautomatically log-in to the HighPoint NVMe Manager using the defaultpassword.The password can be set after the first log-in. To change the password,select Setting>Security from the menu bar (see page 15 for moreinformation).2.Verify the SSD7101A-1 StatusThe Manage Tab will display the status of the installed SSD7101A-1.The Virtual Disk is listed under Logic Device Information. Theindividual M.2 SSDs are listed under Physical Device Information.3.Manage the RAID diskThe SSD7101A-1 only supports one RAID disk, and NVMe Manager will automatically configure this RAID disk after the software has beeninstalled. If you need to add another M.2 SSD, you must first delete theexisting RAID disk, and then re-create a new RAID disk using all of theM.2 SSDs.To delete an existing RAID disk:Under Logical Device Information, click the Maintenance link located to the right of the Status column. Click the Delete button from the pop-up Array Information Window:Warning:Deleting the RAID disk will destroy all data on the existing RAID array. Please make sure to back up important data before proceeding.Rename a RAID disk:The NVMe Manager will automatically name a RAID disk asRAID_NVME. It will display the disk name under the system device list. You may rename the RAID disk at any time, by clicking Maintenance and accessing the Array Information window.To create a new RAID disk:1)Click the Create Array link from the Manage page:2)Review the array settings and confirm RAID creation.The SSD7101A-1 supports variable RAID Block Sizes from 16K to 1024K. You may adjust the RAID Block size from the Create Array page. Click the Create Button to create the RAID disk.4.Product Information and SettingsThe Setting page includes Product Information, Email notification and Security settings.Product Information:This section reports the SSD7101A-1’s PCI Bus information and PCIeLink status.Email Notification:This feature allows you to configure email notification. DESCRIPTION The PS710A-1A and PS710AL-1A are solid state relays containing GaAs LEDs on the light emitting side (input
side) and MOS FETs on the output side. It is suitable for PLC, etc. because of its large continuous load current and low on-state resistance. The PS710AL-1A has a surface mount type lead.
