The packaging includes the 12 x1.5mL block as well as the convenient AccuRack, which is designed to allow quick loading or unloading of all sample tubes simultaneously. The rack fits onto the top of the unit and its self-standing design allows it to hold samples when they are being prepped or loaded.

For best results, keep doors and windows closed, when possible, for 10 minutes during spraying and after application.FLEAS AND MOSQUITOES ON DOGS: Do not apply to dogs less than 6 months old. Do not allow cats to have contact with treated dogs for 24 hours. Start spraying at the animal’s head, do not spray near the eyes or mouth. Make sure the animal’s entire body is covered including the legs, underbody and tail. While spraying, fluff the hair so that the spray will penetrate to the skin. Make sure spray wets thoroughly, but do not saturate dog. Do not allow dog to become chilled. Do not spray the animal’s genitalia. Reapply every 7-9 days.DOG RESTING AREAS: Not to be used for broadcast treatment. To kill fleas and repel mosquitoes in areas where dogs rest, use as a spot treatment on the following areas: infested areas, dog beds, resting quarters, nearby cracks and crevices, along and behind baseboards, moldings, window and door frames, and local areas of floor and floor covering. 通过实验分析不同的芯材厚度、弯曲加载跨距以及胞孔形状对三明治梁极限承载力以及结构失效模式的影响。
结果表明:三明治梁的抗弯极限承载能力随着芯材厚度的增加而增加;结构的失效模式与加载跨距及芯材的厚度有关,失效模式主要有压痕、芯材与面板断裂、面板皱褶及脱黏等形式;规则形状的胞孔芯材与不规则形状的胞孔芯材构成的同样尺寸的三明治梁相比:前者的极限承载力更大,能量吸收能力更高。
%Sandwich beams with aluminum alloy faces and aluminum alloy foam cores were tested in three-point bending to characterize their mechanical properties.Tests were performed on sandwich beams with varying geometries, loading span and cells shape of core to identify failure modes and ul-timate load.The experimental results show that the ultimate load increases as the growth of its thick-ness in core materials.The beam's failure modes vary with the thickness of the core and the loading span.The main failure modes include indentation, core and face yielding or crack, face wrinkling and delamination.It is also found that the ultimate load and energy absorption of aluminum sandwich beams are related to the cell shape of aluminum alloy foam core.Sandwich beams with foam core of 实验材料及方法采用金属熔体发泡法通过铝熔体的增黏、发泡和控制凝固等制备过程获得实验用泡沫铝.分别选取孔隙率为78.8%与87%左右的类球形胞孔及80.8%左右的随机多面形胞孔的闭孔泡沫铝作为芯材,泡沫铝线经电火花线切割加工成不同长度、宽度与厚度的芯层板共29块.全部采用厚度为1 mm的实心铝板作为前、后面板,面板和芯层板用AB胶黏合成三明治板,并在180℃的空气中养护24 h.将加工好的泡沫铝三明治板试样采用Instron®3367型电子试验机进行静态三点弯曲加载,测试其力学性能,同时利用CCD相机连续记录弯曲变形过程并对记录的图像进行图像处理,获得不同变形时刻的泡沫铝三明治变形行为.试样尺寸及实验时加载的支撑点跨距如表1所示,加载方式为位移控制方式,压头加载速率为1.5 200 80.8多面形2 实验结果与分析2.1 跨距相同、芯材厚度不同三明治板弯曲和变形特征图1为4组不同厚度闭孔泡沫铝芯材的三明治梁在跨距为200 mm时三点弯曲过程中的压力与压头位移(可近似为板中心处的弯曲挠度)曲线.其中孔隙率较高的A 组~C组的9个试样设定的压头最大位移为35 mm,孔隙率较低且芯材厚度较薄的H组,其4个试样在三点弯曲时的压头最大位移为20 mm.由图1中的压力-位移曲线可以看出,三明治板弯曲时在线性范围内的变形很小,大部分都是非线性或塑性弯曲.A,B两组试样的失效模式为压头局部压入式破坏,而C组试样中2个试样为面板屈服断裂式破坏,一个试样为面板与芯材层剪脱黏破坏.与A,B两组试样不同的是,C组3个试样均在压头位移压至35 mm前彻底失效,失去抗弯能力.图1 跨距为200 mm时的三点弯曲压力-位移曲线2.2 芯材厚度相同、跨距不同的三明治梁弯曲和变形特征图2为D组~G组芯材厚度相同的三明治梁在三点弯曲跨距为100~180 mm时的压力与压头位移曲线.每个试样三点弯曲加载时设定的压头最大位移为15 mm.由图可以看出,实验中D组和G组的离散性较大,而E组和F组的一致性较好.图2 芯材厚度相同、不同跨距的三点弯曲荷载下的压力-位移曲线2.3 多边形胞孔芯材的三明治梁弯曲和变形特征图3是5块芯材为多边形胞孔的三明治梁三点弯曲时的压力-位移曲线和卸载后的试样图像,所有梁的泡沫铝芯材的孔隙率及厚度、粘贴实心薄铝面板的厚度均相同.除试样D4为芯材层剪破坏外,E4~H4试样均为面板压入式失效,如图3所示,D4的压力-位移曲线分布与其他4个试样明显不同.图3 多边形胞孔芯材的三明治梁不同跨距下的变形特征2.4 结果分析与讨论尽管实验中三明治梁的芯材厚度、胞孔结构不同,但是静态弯曲载荷下的压力-位移曲线有类似的变化趋势.从加载起始至压力达到极限承载力之前均呈现较短的线性变形,然而进入弹塑性阶段,在达到极限承载力后,承载力先是在较小的位移内迅速下降,而后在较大的位移范围内缓慢下降.在图1跨距为200 mm的三点弯曲实验结果中,A组和B组试样在弯曲变形直至实验结束过程中,没有出现夹芯裂缝、面板断裂和面板与夹芯的脱落现象,泡沫铝夹芯板的破坏过程是面板局部屈服及其面板以下部分泡沫铝中的胞孔受压缓慢塌陷的塑性变形过程,因此在达到极限承载力后,结构的静态承载力没有发生突然下降.这说明面板与夹芯之间胶结很好,有较强的抗层剪力.由于实验中三明治梁截面高度(即板的厚度)远小于跨度,因此,横力弯曲时切应力影响可以忽略不计,将梁的弯曲理论应用于上、下表面面板厚度相同的夹心梁结构,可得其弯曲刚度D为[9]式中,Ef和Ec分别为面板和板芯材料的弹性模量;b为夹心梁的宽度;f为面板厚度;d为上、下面板中心距离;c为夹芯的厚度.式(1)右端的第一、二项分别对应于上、下面板的弯曲刚度,第三项对应于夹芯部分.根据式(1)夹芯的厚度对三明治梁的弯曲刚度影响可以忽略.事实上,芯材厚度的增加,对弯曲性能有一定的影响,但不是特别显著.对于A,B组试样芯材的孔隙率几乎相同,当芯层板的厚度增加了33%时,极限承载力增加18%.对C组试样,夹芯的厚度增加虽使得其极限承载力提高,但使得弯曲时结构中心层下半部分的层间拉应力随着压力的增加而增加,当应力超过面板的屈服应力时,三明治梁的下面板出现短暂屈服、硬化和撕裂,试样迅速失效.在黏结层抗剪切强度足够的情况下,三明治结构的破坏或失效形式主要有面板屈服断裂、芯材层剪或弯剪和压入屈服3种.而具体的破坏形式与结构的面板、芯材的抗拉、抗压强度有关.图2的厚度相同、跨距不同的三明治结构的三点弯曲实验表明,随着跨距的增加试样极限承载力逐渐减小.出现这种情况的原因,可以认为是D组~G组(包括图1中的H组)试样主要是弯剪变形.弯矩的大小等于跨距及压力乘积的一半,产生相同的弯矩,跨距越大,压力则越小.因为三点弯曲是横力弯曲,梁的横截面上不但有正应力还有剪应力.由于剪应力的存在,横截面不能再保持为平面,因此存在层剪.图2实验中试样的芯材孔隙率比图1中A组~C组试样芯材的孔隙率低,因此D组~H组试样芯材的抗拉、抗压能力较弱.如果面板与芯材胶结层抗剪强度不够,易出现纵向层剪引起的大部分或局部脱黏,导致面板屈曲起翘或芯材层剪断裂(见图4).另外,实验中D组和G组的离散性较大,其原因主要与试样个体芯材的孔隙率差异及胶结加工等因素有关.图4 试样失效模式(i=1,2,3)比较图2及图3的结果可见,芯材胞孔结构对于三明治结构的抗弯特性影响较为明显.尽管试样D4~H4的多边形胞孔芯材孔隙率比试样Di~Hi(i=1,2,3)类球形胞孔芯材的孔隙率高约2%,但多边形胞孔三明治结构极限承载力比同样尺寸的类球形胞孔三明治结构降低20% ~35%,试样D4~H4的失效模式除D4出现芯材纵向层剪破裂外,其他均为局部压入失效.而类球形胞孔芯材的试样Di~Hi(i=1,2,3)失效模式则较为复杂.3 结论1)泡沫铝三明治梁受三点弯曲荷载作用时,当跨距一定且试样其他几何参数相同的条件下,芯材厚度增加其弯曲极限承载力也增加,试样的失效模式与芯材厚度有关.芯材越厚,面板屈服断裂的可能性也越大.2)同尺寸三明治结构使用类球形胞孔泡沫铝芯材比使用随机多边形胞孔泡沫铝芯材具有更高的极限承载力和能量吸收力.参考文献(References)[1]Schwingel D,Seeliger INTRODUCTION
Lightweight materials such as aluminium alloys have become increasingly attractive in the automotive industry. The reason for this is twofold. First, the weight saving using lightweight materials can be considerable compared to conventional steel structures. This will reduce the fuel consumption of the vehicle, resulting in an environmental benefit. Secondly, some aluminium alloys are good energy absorbers during structural impact. Therefore, aluminium alloys are today frequently found in bumper beams and crash boxes to absorb the kinetic energy in accidental car crashes [1] [2]. The increased interest for automotive safety and crashworthiness has resulted in an extensive research into the structural response of thin-walled tubes subjected

foams in the explicit finite element code LS-DYNA [24]. The foam model is based on the model proposed by Deshpande and Fleck [25] and adopts, in addition, a statistical distribution of the material parameters to account for heterogeneity of the foam properties (Reyes et al. [26]). Simple failure criteria coupled with element erosion are used to model fracture in the foam when subjected to predominant tensile stresses. The material constants were determined for aluminium foam of different densities, and the foam model was validated against existing and new experimental data for foam specimens and structural components made of foam-filled aluminium extrusions. Finite element simulations by Reyes [2] showed that the model for both empty and foam-filled square extrusions was able to predict the loads with reasonably good accuracy. In this paper, an experimental programme on axial crushing and oblique loading of empty and foam-filled circular aluminium tubes has been completed, and the main results from this investigation are presented. The load angle was varied in the experiments, while the material and geometry of the tubes were held constant. The aluminium foam was of medium density. The response parameters were the peak force, the absorbed energy and the mean crush force, in addition to visual observations of the deformation mode and fracture. Finally, numerical results from LS-DYNA simulations of empty and foamfilled columns are presented, in which the DeshpandeFleck model has been adopted for the aluminium foam.

to various loading conditions [3]-[23]. While most of the earlier research focused on situations involving pure axial crushing or pure bending of empty extrusions, recent studies have indicated that the mean force and energy absorption may increase during quasi-static or dynamic axial crushing by adding aluminium foam in the structural element [1]. However, during a crash event the loading condition is neither pure axial nor pure bending, but rather a combination of the two. Reyes [2] and Reyes et al. [3] have carried out an extensive experimental and numerical study on the structural behaviour of both empty and foamfilled aluminium extrusions subjected to quasi-static oblique loading. It was found that only a small load angle decreased the energy absorption capability considerably. Only square extrusions were investigated by Reyes. The main objective of the present study is to extend this work by investigating the structural response of empty and foamfilled circular tubes subjected to axial and oblique quasistatic loading. quasi-static loading have been performed. The columns were fixed at one extremity, while a concentrated force was applied at the other through a rigid collar. Empty and foam-filled columns were tested for load angles equal to 0, 5, 15 and 30 degrees with respect to the longitudinal direction of the column. The column’s outer diameter was 80 mm and the thickness was 1.5 mm, while the distance from the point of load application to the fixed support was 245 mm. The aluminium foam density was about 0.3 g/cm3. The response parameters were the peak force, the absorbed energy and the mean crush force, in addition to visual observations of the deformation mode and fracture. Furthermore, LSDYNA simulations of the experiments were performed. The columns were modelled with shell elements, while brick elements were used to model the aluminium foam core. The aluminium alloy was modelled using an isotropic elastoplastic model with isotropic strain hardening. Fracture in the aluminium column was not considered in the simulations. The aluminium foam was modelled using the Deshpande-Fleck model. In selected simulations, fracture was assumed to occur at a critical value of the plastic volumetric strain. The agreement between the experimental and predicted results was in general good.
