一.测试背景
XX公司核心数据库采用AIX系统和ORACLE10G数据库;ERP数据库系统采用HP-UX 系统和ORACLE10G数据库,采用CommVault备份软件,结合LANfree备份方式将Oracle数据备份到ADIC Scalar i500磁带库中.
此次测试模拟CommVault备份服务器、数据库主机发生灾难后的数据恢复全过程, 为灾难恢复提供经验
二.测试概况

2009年11月16日~11月25日,XX公司
●测试主要目的
验证CommVault备份软件在主机发生灾难后的可恢复性
验证使用CommVault 软件备份到磁带上的数据的有效性。

●主要工作内容
1. 安装Win2003 Server sp2,建立CommVault 8.0备份服务器
2. 使用CommVault DR工具恢复备份软件的配置信息
3. 准备AIX5.3和HPUX 11.23 操作系统
4. 安装Oracle 10.0.2.0 for AIX和HP-UX 数据库
5. 使用磁带进行Oracle数据库的全库恢复

4.1 恢复环境准备
Commserver 服务器要求windows 2003sp2
AIX 主机要求和源主机操作系统一致,oracle 版本和以前一致。

HP 主机要求和源主机操作系统一致,oracle 版本和以前一致。

4.2 建立CommVault 8.0备份服务器
以下过程是安装CommServe的详细步骤:
1. 将CommServe安装光盘插入主机光驱
2. 在“我的电脑”中,右键选择“自动播放”或双击光驱图标
3. 出现如下安装界面:
4. 选择“中文”或“英文”均可,选择“下一步”开始安装软件,出现如下界
面:
5. 选择“Install QiNetix on this computer”,开始安装软件
6. 在“Welcome”界面中,选择“Next”,然后在接下来出现的界面中选择
“OK”确认即可
7. 在“License Agreement”中,选择“I accept the terms in the license
agreement”接受许可
8. 在“Select Platforms”中选择在CommServe上需要安装的模块
9. CommVault软件的安装需要一些特殊权限,软件安装中会提示你是否同意设置
这些权限,选择“Yes”确定即可
10. 在安装数据实例的提示界面中,选择“Yes”开始安装数据库实例
11. 在“Database Engine Installation Path”界面中,确定数据库引擎的安
装路径,选择“Browse”可以修改数据库引擎安装路径
12. 在“MSSQL Database Installation Path”界面中,确定MSSQL数据库安装
路径,选择“Browse”可以修改MSSQL数据库的安装路径
13. 开始安装数据库引擎
14. 在“SQL User Password”界面中设置SQL用户的口令
15. 如果你的系统中已经安装了其它版本的JRE,安装程序会推荐你安装一个高
版本的JRE
16. 如果接受推荐,软件开始安装Java环境
17. 在“Destination Folder”界面中选择软件的安装路径,选择“Browes”可
以修改软件的安装路径
18. 在“CommServe Database Path”界面中确定CommServe数据库的路径,选择
“Browse”可以修改CommServe数据库的安装路径
19. 在“CommServe Name”中指定CommServe的客户端名称和主机名
20. 在“CommServe Disaster Recovery Path”界面中指定灾难恢复文件的路
径,选择“Browse”指定灾难恢复文件的路径
21. 在“Firewall Configuration”界面中可以配置防火墙,通常选择不配置防
火墙
22. 在“Apply a License”中指定正式许可证文件的路径或选择使用Demo许可

23. 在“Administrator Account”中配置登录CommCell Console的“帐户”和
“口令”
24. 在“Media Password”中输入访问介质的口令
25. 选择“Yes”确认配置CommCell Console Web管理
26. 在“Web Administration”中输入一个别名
27. 在“MediaAgent Index Cache Path”中配置Index Cache的路径,选择
“Browse”可以修改Index Cache的存放路径
28. 在“Job Results Path”界面中配置客户端的作业结果存放路径,选择
“Browse”可以修改存放路进
29. 在“Snap Driver Default Volume”界面中配置存储snap位图的分区或卷
30. 在“Summary”界面中选择“Next”确认你的配置并继续安装
31. 软件安装到这个过程,系统会提示需要注销一次,选择“LogOff”确认注销
32. 系统注销完成后,软件的安装过程会自动进行,如如下界面所示:
33. 在“Automatic Updates schedule”界面中,如果需要配置自动更新的调度
计划,可以选中“Schedule FTP Download of Automatic Updates”并配置时间表,建议不要配置
34. 软件安装到这里,系统会提示你是否删除先前安装中设置的特殊权限,选择
“Yes”确认删除
35. 在“Install Updates schedule”界面中选择不配置“Schedule Install of
Automatic Updates”
36. 在系统提示软件安装后需要重启服务器界面中,选择“OK”确定
37. 在“Schedule Reminder”界面中选择“Next”即可
38. 在“Completion Report”界面出现后,选择“Reboot Now”或
“Finish”完成软件的安装
39. 软件安装完成,重启服务器。

Certain Simpana packages can be associated with a virtual IP, or in other
words, installed on a "virtual machine" belonging to some cluster. At any given time the virtual machine's services and IP address are active on only one of the cluster's servers. The virtual machine can "fail-over" from one server to another, which includes stopping services and deactivating IP address on the first server and activating the IP address/services on the other server.

Simpana <- postinstall -> CVGxIDA for AIX 5.3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Commcell Level Global Filters
Commcell Level Global Filters are set through Simpana GUI's Control Panel in order to filter out certain directories or files from backup Commcell-widely. If you turn on the Global filters, they will be effective to the default subclient. There are three options you can choose to set the filters.
1) Use Cell level policy
2) Always use Global filters
3) Do not use Global filters

IMPORTANT:
In addition to installing Simpana on this computer, you will also need to
create a Job Schedule for each iDataAgent that has been installed on this client computer.
Job Schedules are required to allow the Simpana iDataAgents to perform automated backup and restore operations.
Job Schedule creation can be accomplished through the Simpana CommCell Console administration interface.

If you are planning to use Simpana CVGxOrIDA with several instances of the database, each running on behalf of different UNIX users, you must make sure that:
1) All database users have been added to each of the database groups
involved. For example, if there is a "db2inst1" user from group "dba1"
and "db2inst2" user from group "dba2", then both "db2inst1" and
"db2inst2" should be included into "dba1" and "dba2" groups. On most
UNIXes this can be accomplished by editing the /etc/group file.
2) The .profile of each database user must contains a "umask 002" command
at the end, which will guarantee that all files created by one database user can be open for writing by other database users.
If all of the above requirements are not fulfilled, Simpana will run into various "Permission denied" errors, and backups will not work.

4.6使用磁带进行Oracle数据库的全库恢复
4.6.1对核心数据库(AIX)进行恢复
➢数据库的物理恢复(restore)
1. 启动Oracle数据库到nomount状态(新建pfile文件lisdbinit.ora)

2.restore控制文件 & SPFILE文件
●浏览原数据库的备份数据
●选择“目标客户端”、“恢复控制文件”和“恢复SP文件”,由于此数据库没
有catalog数据库,因此选择“无目册”;选择“高级”选项,确定恢复数据库的控制文件时间。

在恢复控制文件的时候需要先设置DBID
●点击高级,设置DBID
●点击ctrl和sp文件,选择从自动备份恢复到时间点
确定提交后,开始恢复控制文件和sp文件

3.修改pfile(由恢复回来的spfile生成)文件
由于核心数据库生产机是Oracle RAC,要恢复到的目的机是单机oracle,因此修改pfile文件SQL>create pfile=’/home/oracle/newlisdbinit.ora from spfile;
