【教材分析】
本课是陕旅版小学英语六年级下学期第八册第七课，本课贴近生活，仍然谈论的是买东西的话题，但主要侧重于买衣服。
同时，也涉及到了衣服尺寸大小，衣服的颜色，衣服的价钱等等。
【学生分析】
通过上节课学习买东西的话题，学生已经有了一定的基础，因此这节课学生比较易于掌握。
【设计理念】
通过活动，让学生在轻松愉快的氛围中掌握知识，在快乐中学习。

1、通过这节课的教学，使学生学会运用的单词：size,expensive,

1）Greetings.

2）师生问答引出话题
T:What did you see ?
S: I saw …
T: Another one: What did you see ?
S: I saw …
（针对视频中出现的衣服提问学生，考察他们的观察和表达能力）T: Look at here! What ’s this?
S: It’s a dress.
T: Another one: What ’s this?
S: It’s cap. ..(pants、socks)
T:But today my mother is looking for a dress for me.Now today we will learn Lesson 7 my mother is looking for a dress for me. Please read it together.（板书课题并让学生齐读课题）Step2、New presentation词汇学习与句型表达：
1）情景教学look for
T:Listen to me!I can’t find my watch.But where’s my watch？
I am looking for my watch.“look for”Do you understand?
Ss: Yes!
板书单词，拼读拼写单词：look for ，领读、齐读。
2) T:Look at here! What ’s this?
Ss: This is a clothes shop!
教学短语a clothes shop并板书单词，拼读拼写单词。
领读、个别读。
T:In this clothes shop,there are many beautiful clothes.When you went to the clothes shop,maybe the saleswomen can say :Can I help you?In other words,what canyou say“What can I do for you?”（板书句型）And you can answer“I’m looking for…”3) 再次播放课件
T: Look at here! What ’s this?
Ss:slipper.引导学生拼读并板书单词,进而再问：What are they?
Ss:slippers.再次拼读，领读、个别读。
引出This is a pair of slippers.教学短语“a pair of”
4) 教学“sneakers、sunglasses”教法同上。
5）将所学“slippers、sneakers、sunglasses”运用到句型问答What can I do for you? I’m looking for…（个别回答以及互问互答）6）接着播放课件
T: Look at here! What ’s this？
Ss: It’s a dress.
T:This is a small dress.And another one,thia is a middle
dress,the last one is a large dress.so the three dresses have
different size.从而引出“size”领读并齐读。
If you wear different size,I can ask you“What size do you wear?”进而引出答语
“I wear…”(师生提问后引导学生互相提问，并个别回答)
7）跟读录音，学习升降调单词短语的发音，并引导学生记忆。
8) T:OK!Now Let’s listen a song again.（听歌曲找颜色单词）
T:What did you see ?
S: I saw …
T: Another one: What did you see ?
S: I saw …（听歌曲找颜色单词）
引出句型What colour do you like?I like…板书并操练。

1）Remember all of phrases
这是训练学生快速记忆单词及短语能力的游戏，当老师读一遍的时候，学生闭上眼睛读两遍；当老师读两遍的时候，学生闭上眼睛读三遍；当老师读三遍的时候，学生闭上眼睛读四遍…
2) Make a survey (情景模拟对话并完成表格)
