我对高考的看法(英文) -CAL-FENGHAI-(2020YEAR-YICAI)_JINGBIAN
My view on the college entrance examination --There is a will, there is a way.
Nowadays, the college entrance examination is quite popular among parents and students. They show great concern on improving grades and better ways to enter an excellent university. The entrance examination is usually considered to be the key to we students’ future development.
From a majority of people’s point of view, the college entrance examination is the unique way to get higher education and then get a well-paid job. Only in this way can we lead a happy life.
Contrary to what most people assume, some people think the college entrance examination should be canceled. It is because the grades is not the only standard to test one’s ability.
As far as I’m concerned, everything is a double-edged sword. On one hand, with the pressure put on us, we have to study hard and learn endless knowledge. During the process, we can improve ourselves. For instance, we gradually learn how to deal with pressure and communicate with others, which benefit our career life a lot. More importantly, it’s equal for every student from different families to compete, regardless of the basis of their families’ finance.
On the other hand, the entrance examination prevent we students’creation and imagination from developing. As a result, we can only
absorb knowledge from boring books instead of practice. Worse still, it’s a waste of time to learn the knowledge we are not interested in just for passing the examination. If so, it is definitely a pity. In other words, going abroad for better education, starting a business or anything we want to do are also good choices.
In conclusion, we should learn both advantages and disadvantages of the college entrance examination and make your own plan for your future. What is important is that you must figure out what your goal is and spare no efforts to achieve it. There is a will, there is a way. No matter which way you choose, believe yourself! You can make it!
