Play super fun games and do cool activities all in English. We play charades, do spelling bees, put on short plays, and more! It's a blast.

What Do We Do at Meetings?
Our club meets every Thursday after school from 3:30-5:00 in Room 112. Each meeting has a fun warm-up activity like an English tongue twister contest or a quick round of English Pictionary. Then we'll do a longer cultural activity where we learn about a new holiday, tradition or custom through stories, videos or even crafts and food tastings!
After that, we usually split up by grade level. The older kids often put on a short play or skit for everyone to watch and participate in. The younger ones play games like English Bingo, Around the World spelling contests, or Simon Says. We always leave time at the end for free conversation practice where you can chat with your friends in English about anything you'd like!

Join the Super Cool English Club!
Hi friends! Are you looking for a fun way to practice your English? Then the Super Cool English Club is the place for you! My name is Tommy and I'm the club president. Let me tell you all about our awesome club.
We meet every Wednesday after school from 3:30 to 5:00 in Room 12. At our meetings, we play lots of games and do activities that make learning English really fun. We never just sit around and do boring worksheets or textbook exercises. Nope, not in this club!
One of my favorite activities is English Charades. We split into teams and one person acts out a word, phrase, or scene from a book or movie in English. Their team has to guess what it is. It's hilarious watching my friends act out words like "kangaroo" or "rollercoaster"! We laugh so hard our bellies hurt.
Another cool thing we do is English Story Time. Each week, one of the club members reads an exciting story book to the group. They use funny voices for the different characters which cracks me up. After, we discuss the story and share our favorite parts. Sometimes we even act out scenes from the book!
We also play tons of word games like Hangman, Scrabble, Boggle, and Password. They help us learn new vocabulary words in a entertaining way. And we have English tongue twisters contests to see who can say super silly sentences without messing up. "She sells sea shells by the sea shore" - that one always gets me!
During our meetings, we only speak English too. At first, it felt a little weird not using our native language. But now I'm so used to it and my English has improved a ton. If you forget an English word, we help each other out. No one makes fun of anyone for mistakes.
Four times per year, we have an English Movie Night too! We all vote on the movie, make yummy English snacks like popcorn and nachos, and watch the film together. My favorite was the animated movie "The Secret Life of Pets" - I laughed so hard I thought I would pee my pants!
Once per semester, we also organize an English Talent Show. Club members can sing songs, perform skits, read poems, tell jokes, or showcase any other talents they have - all in English of course. We invite family and friends to come watch. I did a magic show last year and pulled a rabbit out of my hat. Pretty cool, right?
And the best part? The English Club is completely FREE to join! We just chip in 1 or 2 occasionally for snacks or activity supplies. The club is run by our school's English teacher, Mrs. Roberts, along with a few parent volunteers.
So what are you waiting for? Join the Super Cool English Club today! Just see Mrs. Roberts for a permission slip. You'll make new friends, improve your English skills, and have a total blast! We can't wait to welcome you to the club. English rocks!
Your Friend,
Tommy

Come One, Come All to the Cool English Club!
Hi friends! Are you looking for a fun way to learn English and make new friends? Then the Cool English Club is the place for you! We do all sorts of awesome activities to practice our English skills.
Every week, we play different games all in English. Sometimes we play charades where you have to act out words or phrases without talking. Other times, we play English board games or even video games in English. We once had an epic English video game tournament - it was so fun!
We also get to watch really neat movies and TV shows in English. Some of my favorites we've watched are Finding Nemo, The Lion King, and episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants. Watching them in English helps us learn new words and expressions. Plus, it's way more fun than just reading from a textbook!
Speaking of reading, in the Cool English Club we often read awesome stories and books together. We take turns reading parts out loud to practice our pronunciation. Then we discuss what happened and share our favorite parts. The club leaders pick really cool stories with brave heroes, magical adventures, and lots of humor to keep things interesting.
Once a month, we do a special English activity day. Sometimes it's an English culture day where we learn about holidays, food, games and traditions from English-speaking countries. We've made Easter eggs, played baseball, and even tried iconic snacks like s'mores! Other times, it's an English project day where we get creative making videos, posters, songs or skits all in English. My favorite was when we made a music video to "Baby Shark" but replaced some words with new vocab we learned.
The best part is, the Cool English Club has both younger kids like me and older kids too. That means there's always someone to help if you're struggling, and you can make friends with different ages. The older kids are super nice and make excellent English practice buddies. I've learned so many new words, idioms and expressions from them.
We have fun field trips around town too! We've visited the library, museums, parks, and other places to explore and use our English in the real world. One time, we went to the zoo and had to only use English to read the animal facts and ask the zookeepers questions. It was a great way to practice.
What I love most about the Cool English Club is that it's a super open, welcoming, and safe space to practice English
without any judgement. The leaders and all the kids are patient and encouraging. We cheer each other on and celebrate any progress, no matter how small. It's okay to make mistakes - that's how we learn! As long as you try your best, that's what matters.
I used to be really shy about speaking English because I was afraid I would say something wrong. But the Cool English Club helped me gain more confidence. Now, I'm way more willing to practice my English without feeling embarrassed or anxious. I've made so many new friends and improved my English skills too!
So what are you waiting for? The Cool English Club meets every Saturday from 10am to 12pm at the community center downtown. Just bring your enthusiasm to learn and have fun! Membership is free and you can join anytime. Don't miss out - come be cool with us at the Cool English Club!。
