例如,一则关于marketing management trainee和job requirement是这样写的:we are looking for a competent person to fill the captioned position:-university graduate major in marketing management. prepared to develop career in the commercial field-outgoing personality-able to communicate at different levels-good knowledge of pc operations-proficiency in written and spoken english/mandarin那么你相应地考虑自己的qualification的选择和表述,就可以这样写(与上列各项对应):-university graduate with major in marketing-having actively participated in business club's activities and learned accounting and management-good in communication with people and like a lot of out door activities, know how to tackle with people from all walks of life-skillful in operating words, excel, lotus1-2-3, etc-fluent in english and mandarin这个方法的好处是可让求职者清楚了解该职位是否适合自己,而本身资料又是否切合要求,而且,明白了各项要求后,就可依据每一点在履历表上重点提出自己在该方面的强项。

1. What IS a resume anyway?Remember: a Resume is a self-promotional document that presents you in the best possible light, for the purpose of getting invited to a job interview. It‘s not an official personnel document. It‘s not a job application. It‘s not a career obituary! An d it‘s not a confessional.2. What should the resume content be about? It‘s not just about past jobs! It‘s about YOU, and how you performed and what you accomplished in those past jobs--especially those accomplishments that are most relevant to the work you want to do next. A good resume predicts how you might perform in that desired future job.3. What‘s the fastest way to improve a resume?Remove everything that starts with responsibilities included and replace it with on-the-job accomplishments. (See Tip 11 for one way to write them.)4. What is the most common resume mistake made by job hunters?Leaving out their Job Objective! If you don‘t show a sense of direction, employers won‘t be interested. Having a clearl y stated goal doesn‘t have to confine you if it‘s statedwell.5. What‘s the first step in writing a resume?Decide on a job target (or job objective) that can be stated in about 5 or 6 words. Anything beyond that is probably fluff and indicates a lack of clarity and direction.6. How do you decide whether to use a Chronological resume or a Functional one?The Chronological format is widely preferred by employers, and works well if you‘re staying in the same field (especially if you‘ve been upwardly-mobile). Only use a Functional format if you‘re changing fields, and you‘re sure a skills-oriented format would show off your transferable skills to better advantage; and be sure to include a clear chronological work history!7. What if you don‘t have any experience in the kind of work you want to do?Get some! Find a place that will let you do some volunteer work right away. You only need a brief, concentrated period of volunteer training (for example, 1 day a week for a month) to have at least SOME experience to put on your resume. Also, look at some of the volunteer work you‘ve done in the past and see if any of THAT helps document some skills you‘ll need for yournew job.8. What do you do if you have gaps in your work experience? You could start by looking at it differently. General Rule: Tell what you WERE doing, as gracefully as possible--rather than leave a gap. If you were doing anything valuable (even if unpaid) during those so-called gaps you could just THAT into the work-history section of your resume to fill the hole. Here are some examples:1993-95 Full-time parent -- or1992-94 Maternity leave and family management -- orTravel and study -- or Full-time student -- orParenting plus community service9. What if you have several different job objectives you‘re working on at the same time? Or you haven‘t narrowed it down yet to just one job target? Then write a different resume for each different job target. A targeted resume is MUCH, much stronger than a generic resume.10. What if you have a fragmented, scrambled-up work history, with lots of short-term jobs?To minimize the job-hopper image, combine several similar jobs into one chunk, for example:1993-1995 Secretary/Receptionist; Jones Bakery, Micro Corp., Carter Jewelers -- or1993-95 Waiter/Busboy; McDougal‘s Restaurant, Burger King, Traders Coffee Shop. Also you can just drop some of the less important, briefest jobs. But don‘t drop a job, even when it lasted a short time, if that was where you acquired important skills or experience.11. What‘s the best way to impress an employer?Fill your resume with PAR statements. PAR stands for Problem-Action-Results; in other words, first you state the problem that existed in your workplace, then you describe what you did about it, and finally you point out the beneficial results. Here‘s an example: Transformed a disorganized, inefficient warehouse into a smooth-running operation by totally redesigning the layout; this saved the company thousands of dollars in recovered stock.Another example: Improved an engineering company‘s obsolete filing system by developing a simple but sophisticated functional-coding system. This saved time and money by recovering valuable, previously lost, project records.12. What if your job title doesn‘t reflect your actual level of responsibility? When you list it on the resume, either replace it with a more appropriate job title (say Office Manager instead of Administrative Assistant if that‘s more realistic) OR use their job title AND your fairer one together, i.e. Administrative Assistant (Office Manager)13. How can you avoid age discrimination? If you‘re over 40 or 50 or 60, remember that you don‘t have to present your entire work history! You can simply label THAT part of your resume Recent Work History or Relevant Work History and then describe only the last 10 or 15 years of your experience. Below your 10-15 year work history, you could add a paragraph headed Prior relevant experience and simply refer to any additional important (but ancient) jobs without mentioning dates.14. What if you never had any real paid jobs -- just self-employment or odd jobs?Give yourself credit, and create an accurate, fair job-title for yourself. For example:AS Hauling Cleaning (Self-employed) -- orHousehold Repairman, Self-employed -- orChild-Care, Self-employedBe sure to add Customer references available on request and then be prepared to provide some very good references of people you worked for.15. How far back should you go in your Work History? Far enough; and not too far! About 10 or 15 years is usually enough - unless your juiciest work experience is from farther back.16. How can a student list summer jobs?Students can make their resume look neater by listing seasonal jobs very simply, such as Spring 1996 or Summer 1996 rather than 6/96 to 9/96. (The word Spring can be in very tiny letters, say 8-point in size.)17. What if you don‘t quite have your degree or credentials yet?You can say something like:Eligible for U.S. credentials -- orGraduate studies in Instructional Design, in progress -- orMaster‘s Degree anticipated December 199718. What if you worked for only one employer for 20 or30 years? Then list separately each different position you held there, so your job progression within the company is more obvious.19. What about listing hobbies and interests?Don‘t include hobbies on a resume unless the activity is somehow relevant to your job objective, or clearly reveals a characteristic that supports your job objective. For example, a hobby of Sky Diving (adventure, courage) might seem relevant to some job objectives (Security Guard?) but not to others.20. What about revealing race or religion?Don‘t include ethnic or religious affiliations (inviting pre-interview discrimination) UNLESS you can see that including them will support your job objective. Get an opinion from a respected friend or colleague about when to reveal, and when to conceal, your affiliations.21. What if your name is Robin Williams?Don‘t mystify the reader about your gender; they‘ll go nuts until they know whether you‘re male or female. So if your name is Lee or Robin or Pat or anything else not clearly male or female, use a Mr. or Ms. prefix.22. What if you got your degree from a different country? You can say Degree equivalent to U.S. Bachelor‘s Degree in Economics-Teheran, Iran.23. What about fancy-schmancy paper?Employers tell me they HATE parchment paper and pretentious brochure-folded resume presentations. They think they‘re phony, and toss them right out. Use plain white or ivory, in a quality appropriate for your job objective. Never use colored paper unless there‘s a very good reason for it (like, you‘re an artist) becaus e if it gets photo-copied the results will be murky.24. Should you fold your resume?Don‘t fold a laser-printed resume right along a line of text. The ink could flake off along the fold.。

We’ve put together the ultimate resume checklist of what to put on a resume to score that “We’d love you to come for an interview” call – then hopefully, the job of your dreams!Your Contact DetailsDon’t list your home or postal address but do include your mobile number, email address and LinkedIn profile. Just stick with one email address and one contact number. If your usual address is something *********************************a new account with a simpler address for your job hunt. It’s great you love wine (don’t we all!) but it won’t leave a professional impression.Headline – The Chance To QUICKLY Showcase Your Awesomeness When you’ve only got about 7 seconds to grab a recruiter’s attention (yup, research shows that’s how long they spend scanning a CV) you want to make your credentials stand out quickly. The idea of a headline is to quickly condense your work experience and skills into a short sentence that will leave an impression.Think of it as your elevator pitch on paper – the one that’s going to make the hiring manager want to keep reading further along your CV.Here are a few examples –●Java Software Developer with 5+ Years of Experience and Teamwork Skills●Medical Sales Who Exceeds Targets by 25%●Impeccably Organised Personal Assistant with 7+ Years Supporting Senior Execs●Social Media Guru Who Doubles Community EngagementA Short, Attention-Grabbing ProfileNext on your resume checklist is your attention-grabbing profile.Like the headline, your profile should be quick and summarise your experience; calling out the highlights. Put it under the headline and use a bullet point format to make it snappy.Keep it to 3 or 4 bullet points or your most awesome skills and achievements, you can dive into more detail in the next resume checklist essential – your experience. Here’s an example –Impeccably Organised Personal Assistant with 7+ Years Supporting Senior Execs●Successfully implemented scheduling system to more efficiently coordinateschedules including travel and meetings of multiple senior execs.●Tech-savvy: Slack, Calend.ly, Evernote, Hootsuite, Salesforce●Diplomatic, problem-solver and impeccably organisedExperienceWhen it comes to what to put on a resume, you don’t want to get the ‘experience’element wrong – this could make or break your application!List your roles in reverse chronological order (ie – your most recent role first) and if you have a long career, focus on the last 10 – 15 years. For each role, include the name of the company, your role and how long you worked there.Break it down! List out your experience and skills in a way that is easy to skim read –that means more bullet points.Start each bullet point with a strong verb, for example –Handled…Managed…Responsible for…Established…Designed…There’s a saying that goes like this – duties tell, accomplishments sell. Make sure you’ve got your accomplishments on your resume checklist! While including the most relevant day-to-day duties in each role is important, focus on highlighting some things you achieved while working in each position. Education summaryThis is the section to list your academic accomplishments.Like your work experience this should be done in reverse chronological order. Include your qualification name, course provider and year you graduated.Tip – If you’ve just graduated or you recently went back to school to complete a new degree, you might consider putting the education section before your experience section.SkillsA well set out skills section can help a hiring manager decide whether you’ve got what it takes for the job— and decide quickly. You’ve got 7 seconds to make an impression, remember!?Pay attention to keywordsThis section will be scanned for relevant keywords –either by a human reader or machine scanner – so you want to focus on getting the wording right.Does the way you’ve written your skills align with wording in the job ad? We’re not suggesting you embellish your skills here, but it’s a smart move to tweak the wording to be a close or exact match to the job ad – if it doesn’t bend the truth!Hard (technical) skills and soft skillsNot all skills are created equal and you want to include a balance of hard and soft skills on your resume. You might be amazing and possess the technical skill of data analytics but your future employer also wants to know how well you can communicate with a team and stay cool under pressure – soft skills.Don’t underestimate the career edge soft skills can give you. Even when it comes to hard-to-fill positions, soft skills still play a big role in the hiring managers decision.。

Instead of using a generic resume for all applications, take the time to tweak your resume to match the requirements and qualifications listed in the job posting. This shows employers that you have taken the time to understand the position and can effectively communicate how your skills and experiences make you a strong fit.To tailor your resume, carefully review the job description and note the key skills and requirements mentioned. Then, in your resume, emphasize those skills and experiences that directly align with what the employer is looking for. This could involve rearranging your bullet points, adding or removing certain sections, or highlighting specific accomplishments that are most relevant. By tailoring your resume to each job, you demonstrate your attentiveness and commitment to the position.12. Highlight transferable skills:As a recent graduate, you may not have extensive work experience in your desired field. However, you likely have transferable skills from your education, internships, part-time jobs, or extracurricular activities that can be highly valuable to employers. These skills may include communication, problem-solving, teamwork, leadership, research, or project management. In your resume, highlight these transferable skills and provide examples of how you have demonstrated them. For instance, if you were the leader of a student club or organization, describe how you organized events, managed a team, or resolved conflicts. If you worked part-time while completing your degree, explain how youmultitasked, prioritized responsibilities, or interacted with customers.Demonstrating your transferable skills shows employers that you have the potential to excel in their organization, even if you don't have direct work experience.13. Showcase internships and relevant experiences:If you have completed internships or relevant experiences during your studies, make sure to showcase them in your resume. These experiences provide you with practical skills and industry knowledge that can set you apart from other candidates. In your resume, include the details of your internships or relevant experiences. Specify the company you worked for, your job title, the duration of the internship, and a description of your responsibilities and achievements. Focus on the tasks or projects that are most relevant to the job you are applying for.If you don't have any internships, consider including part-time jobs, volunteer work, or freelance projects that showcase your skills and work ethic.14. Quantify your achievements:When describing your work experience, internships, or projects, try to quantify your achievements whenever possible. Numbers and measurable results can provide concrete evidence of your abilities and impact. For example, instead of saying you "improved sales," you could say you "increased sales by 20% within six months."Similarly, if you worked on a project, mention the budget you managed or the number of team members you supervised. Quantifying your achievements adds credibility to your resume and helps potential employers understand the scope of your responsibilities.15. Use action verbs:To make your resume more dynamic and engaging, use action verbs when describing your experiences and accomplishments. Action verbs convey a sense of proactivity, competence, and leadership. Instead of using passive language, such as "was responsible for" or "assisted with," opt for more active and specific verbs, such as "led," "implemented," "analyzed," "collaborated," or "achieved."Using action verbs helps to keep your resume concise and focused while painting a picture of your accomplishments and abilities. 16. Keep it concise and focused:When writing your resume, it's important to keep it concise and focused. A one- to two-page resume is generally sufficient for most entry-level positions. Hiring managers often have limited time to review each application, so a clear and concise resume will be easier to scan and understand.Make sure your information is relevant to the job you're applying for and avoid unnecessary details. Focus on your most impressive accomplishments, relevant experiences, and skills that align with the position.17. Proofread and edit:Before submitting your resume, meticulously proofread and edit it to ensure there are no grammatical errors, typos, or formatting inconsistencies. These mistakes can create a negative impression and undermine your professionalism.Read your resume multiple times, use spell-check tools, and consider asking a friend or family member to review it as well. Often, a fresh pair of eyes can catch errors that you might have missed. Also, pay attention to formatting consistency throughout your resume. Ensure that headings, bullet points, font sizes, and spacing are consistent across all sections. A visually appealing and error-free resume reflects your attention to detail and professionalism.18. Include relevant keywords:Many companies use applicant tracking systems (ATS) to streamline the hiring process. These systems scan resumes for relevant keywords and determine their compatibility with the job requirements. To increase your chances of getting through the initial screening process, include relevant keywords in your resume.Identify industry-specific terms, technical skills, or desirable qualifications mentioned in the job description and incorporate them naturally into your resume. However, avoid keyword stuffing or using irrelevant keywords, as this can make your resume seem unnatural or forced.19. Utilize professional resources:If you're unsure about the content, formatting, or overall effectiveness of your resume, consider seeking guidance from professional resources. Career centers at your college or university often provide resume workshops and one-on-one resume review sessions. They can offer valuable advice tailored to your field of study and help you make the most of your resume.Additionally, there are numerous online resources, templates, and resume-writing services available. These resources can provide guidance on resume structure, language, and industry-specific best practices. However, it's important to adapt these resources to your individual experiences and tailor your resume accordingly.20. Maintain an online presence:In today's digital age, having an online presence can enhance your job search efforts. Create and maintain a professional online profile through platforms such as LinkedIn. A well-curated LinkedIn profile can complement your resume and allow employers to learn more about your professional background, skills, achievements, and interests.Ensure that your online presence is consistent with the information on your resume. Keep your profile up to date and engaging, and use this platform to network with professionals in your industry. Your resume is a vital tool in your job search as a graduate. By following these writing tips, you'll be well on your way to crafting a resume that effectively showcases your skills, experiences, and qualifications to potential employers. With a polished resume, you'll increase your chances of securing interviews and finding success in your chosen career path.。

Select the best format.1. While most resumes are written in a history chronological format, often a better technique is to evenly balance between skill-set description, achievements, and employment.

2. Make certain your document is error free.2. Since you are familiar with your own writing, you will "see" what you were thinking and not what is actually on the page. Do not rely on yourself to proofread your work and do not rely on spell-check. Find a friend who has strong grammar skills to check your work.

3. Find a balance between wordiness and lack of detail.3. Employers need to see details about your work history and experience, but they don't need to know everything. The fact that you were den leader in your Cub Scout troop is irrelevant. Keep information germane to the goal of attaining an interview. Eliminate information that is not related and will not have a directimpact on winning the interview.
