本单元以Could you please clean your room?为中心话题，围绕着描述家庭成员间的日常事物展开，学习和运用交际用语Could you please…?让学生学会谈论和分享家庭家务事。
教学内容与学生的实际生活密切相关，易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流。
在学习活动中，学生通过交换对家务事情的描述及看法，促进学生与家庭成员之间的感情。
本节课从整体上来说自己感觉是比较成功的一堂课，为了能更好地提高自己的授课水平，我将这节课的成功和不足之处做一详细分析：一、较为成功之处：1、我仍坚持以学生为中心，将听，说，读，写这四项技能综合地贯穿于课堂教学中。
对本节课的教学重点进行了系统的操练。
并能把握好一节课的时间。
2、教学导入以直观的图片入手，自然的引出本堂课要学习和复习的词和词组。
并带领学生进行跟读带读的练习进行巩固，为之后的句型练习打基础。
3、教学步骤衔接流畅，通过调查学生在家是否做家务过渡到课本人物做家务情况；通过Peter和妈妈之间的对话过渡到要学习的句型;通过学习句型过渡到练习句型;通过父母在家如何要求学生做家务过渡到在学校如何礼貌的向同学提出请求或要求，实现了层层递进，由重点向难点的过渡。
4、训练方式扎实有效。

最后归于的写作训练有了以上训练的铺垫在老师的提示下学生易于接受敢于下笔。
