本班为初一(2)班,共48人,其中,成绩优秀的有12人,基础较差的有14人,成绩中等的有22人。

这些环节都是思维的过程。

一、教材概述该教材是根据教育部制定的全日制义务教育《英语课程标准》编写的。

共五册,供七年级到九年级的学生使用。

在编排上以单元为单位,每单元分为 Section A、Section B 和 Self—Check 三部分。

二、教材评价本文主要根据程晓棠《英语教材分析与设计》一书提供的教材评价方法对该教材进行系统评价中的内部评价,主要包括:评价教材的教学指导思想,采用的教学方法以及教材内容的选择和安排。

1.教材的指导思想和教学方法。

该教材以教育部制定的《全日制义务教育普通高级中学英语课程标准》 为指导思想。

主张以学生实际生活的话题为主教学,以学生为中心,促进学生的全面发展。

教材主要采用任务型教学法(task-based)进行教学,通过完成不同的任务,使学生掌握并消化当堂所学的知识。

指导学生在情景中通过实践、参与、合作交流的活动方式来学习。

2.教材内容的选择和安排。

这部分主要分析语言技能和语言知识二个方面。

(1)语言技能:包括听说读写四个方面。

听:该教材每单元在听前都会先给出一幅图片导入课文,根据图片设置听力活动,学生先看图片、听录音,然后完成图片后面的听力练习。

如:八年级上册 Unit1 What’s the matter?,先以一幅图导入学习内容,后续设置了连线、排序等听力活动。

练习多样,这对学生听力水平的提高有很大的帮助。

1.1 英语课程性质和课程目标义务阶段英语课程具有工具性和人文性双重性质。

工具性指英语课程承担着培养学生基本英语素质和发展学生思维能力的任务,即学生掌握基本的英语语言知识,发展基本的英语听说读写技能,初步形成用英语与他人交流的能力,进一步促进思维能力的发展,为今后进一步学习英语和用英语学习其他相关科学文化知识奠定基础。

人文性指英语课程承担着提高学生综合人文素养的任务,即学生通过英语课程能够开阔视野,丰富生活经历,形成跨文化意识,增强爱国主义精神,发展创新能力,形成良好的品格和正确的人生观与价值观。

工具性和人文性统一的英语课程。

英语课程的学习,既是学生通过英语学习和实践活动,逐步掌握英语知识和技能,提高语言实际运用能力的过程,又是有利于为学生的终身发展奠定基础。

他们磨砺意志、陶冶情操、拓展视野、丰富生活经历、开发思维能力、发展个性和提高人文素养的过程。

语言知识话题功能基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。

综合语言运用能力的形成建立在学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识等素养整体发展的基础上。

语言知识和语言技能是综合语言运用能力的基础,文化意识是得体运用语言的保证。

情感态度是影响学生学习和发展的重要因素。

学习策略是提高学习效率、发展自主学习能力的保证。

这五个方面共同促进综合语言运用能力的形成。

1.2 Go for it 教学目标《新目标英语》旨在通过循序渐进的学习程序、生活化的、开放的学习活动,激发学生学习英语的兴趣和学习动机,培养他们学习英语的积极态度,树立学生初步学习英语、运用英语的自信心;培养学生一定的语感和良好的语音、语调基础,养成良好的学习习惯,在运用英语有目的地做事情的过程中形成初步用英语进行简单日常交流的能力。

我对《Go For it》新目标初中英语教材的简要分析03班梁国生Go for it 教材作为我们一直使用的一部教材,已有了一些年头,期间,进行过一些小的修改和调整。

通过这几年我在农村边远山区中学教学的亲身体验,让我对于新目标教材有了进一步的认识,更深的理解和自己在教学实践中的体会,从教材的发展性、思想性、系统性、科学性、趣味性、前瞻性、实践性、可评价性、创造性和可拓展性等十个评价指标,谈谈对于现行教材的看法。

自教材使用以来,很多老师都认为这本教材变化大,对于广大农村学生来说,使用起来有较大的困难,除了单词量太大、知识面太广、所涉及的内容过于西化、知识体系繁杂零散且难度较大之外,它对教师的专业水平要求越来越高,把任务型教学的方法作为大力提出的主要做法,在一定程度上是影响了教学效果的达成。

其实我们应该辩证的客观的看待这本教材。

首先从教材的发展性来看。

毋庸置疑本教才是符合国家课程标准的,符合社会发展需要的。

也是符合学生身心发展规律的。

随着社会的发展进步,人类对各种文化之间交流愿望的加强,对语言工具性认识不断提高。

英语作为一种交流的工具,引起了教育届的广泛关注。

社会需要英语学科培养出一批具有交际能力的人才,而不仅仅是应试的外语学习者。

所以本教材从我国社会发展的现实状况,安排了大量的交际任务,以达成课程标准提出的目标。

从教材思想性方面来看。

这部教材同其他学科教材在跨培养文化意识的基础上,不失时机的包含了德育教育的因素。

常常把中国传统文化和其他一些有德育渗透点的内容与世界优秀文化放在同一教学活动中进行对比,让学生感受到中国文化是世界文化不可分割的一部分。

例如九年级一册中各个单元都不失时机的编排了思想教育性极强的内容,有对于Shen Nong的介绍,abacus的发明,table manners的介绍等的。

但是这样的德育因素,并不一定被教师充分的挖掘出来了。

我个人认为,教材中可以更多的加入中国元素,使其在教材,特别是文本教材中达到一定的数量。

(三) 注重交际,针对中国学生学英语普遍存在的聋哑病,教材设 计了大量听说读写材料。
(四) 词汇量大,第一册由词汇700个左右,第二册有词汇约450个, 第三册约450个,第四册约400个,第五册约500个,合计2500个, 这一点正好达到《英语课程标准》5级的要求。

在本单元中,主要出现的不定代词为由some,any,no,every构成的复合不定代词,因此主要详细讲解这部分不定代词的用法,在这些复合不定代词中,除no one以外,其他都要写成一个词。

由some, any, no, every构成的复合不定代词作主语时,谓语动词用第三人称单数形式。

形容词修饰复合不定代词时,形容词后置。

浅谈《Go For it》新目标英语教材——请对正在使用的教材做出简要分析自我们使用Go for it 《新目标教材》以来,很多老师都认为这本教材变化大,对于广大农村学生来说,使用起来有较大的困难。

自从认真听了刘道义老师对教师上课前对教材的分析和评价标准的要求讲座后,我启发很大。

它以任务型教学理念为编写理论,以“合理引进国外语言教学理念,适合我国英语教育实际情况”为宗旨。

分析研究了我国绝大部分地区初中英语教学实际情况,力图把基于生活的语言教学模式引进我国的英语教学领域中来,其整套教材编写思想是:以话题为主线,采取任务型语言学习教学模式,兼顾交际功能和语言知识相结合的学习。

它对教师的专业水平要求也越来越高,其实我们应该辩证的客观的看待这本教材。

现就我对该教材的编写特点,谈谈我对其中几点的肤浅分析和看法。

首先从教材的发展性来看。

教材编写的水准体系理论与实践活动与任务等方面适合和满足学生身心的需要,还注重了学生的发展,着重学生水平的培养,让学生学会学习的同时,还通过视、听、说、唱、说、读、写等有趣的活动,培养语感,养成良好的习惯,为学生的终身发展奠定了良好的基础。

随着社会的发展进步,人类对各种文化之间交流愿望的增强,对语言工具性理解持续提升,英语作为一种交流的工具,引起了教育界的广泛注重。

所以本教材的现实状况,即符合社会发展需要,也符合学生的发展规律。

从教材的思想性和创造性来看。

该教材的编写明显具有很强的思想性和创造性。

新目标注重创新精神,采用了先进教育教学理论和教育方法。

学生在对教材的逐步学习中,教材处处体现了其教育的思想性,它逐步教会学生怎样做人,渗透着思想教育,提升学生道德素养;外语教学要贯彻教育面向现代化、面向世界、面向未来的方针,同时具有爱国情怀和国际视野。

所以,Go for it 新目标教材是一本具有极大的思想教育的教材。

从教材的系统性和前瞻性来看。

教学大纲规定的各年级教学要求和教学内容的安排,Go for it 《新目标教材》英语教材的每个单元到整个教材的编写都凸显出了教材的循序渐进的系统性。

初中英语Go for it 2012版教材特点分析——以八年级上册为例邵川利(重庆三峡学院外国语学院,重庆万州404100)摘要::由于英语教材改革,使得人才培养机制逐渐出现了新的变化,这一变化也对英语教师的教学技能提出了更高的要求。

把Go for it 2012版教材和2002版教材内容进行比较可知,无论是在听、说还是在读、写上,前者都注重实际,特点和功能也较以往有了新的变化。

将八年级上册(以下称“八上”)作为研究主体对象,对其不同版本的教材内容和结构进行分析可知,不同版本的内容结构也不尽相同,使得教师能在教材的对比中加深对教材的理解和使用。

关键词::初中英语;2012版教材;分析比较一、前言就目前来说,在初中英语教材的使用上,Goforit 占据了较大的比重。

此教材最初的出版集团是美国圣智学习出版集团,在此基础上,中国的人民教育出版社结合汤姆森学习出版集团一起促成了此教材的出版和使用。

在本教材2012最新版中,就八年级上册来说,需要学习10个单元,其中除了学习主要课文内容之外,还需要了解听力原文、单词表、语法讲解和单词总结等。

在国家教育部颁发的《义务教育英语课程标准》(2011年版)的基础上,编者通过对原书里面的一些基本内容和结构进行了简单的调整,促进了新的策略学习和文化背景知识的讲解范围的增加。

而且,从原有基础出发,此教材还扩展了任务型学习模式和语篇输出的占比比例。

分析2012版教材的编写可知,其在编写过程中对学生的学习心理和认知水平都做了一定的观察思考,所以能够结合实际情况开展实际教学活动。

相比于2002版的英语教材,2012版英语教材不仅仅把关注点放在对学生英语语言的提高上,更希望通过自身的努力使得学生的语言运用能力能够得到充分的提高,从而使得学生学习英语的兴趣程度显著上升,使其英语能力不再局限于应对必要的英语考试,也能在实际生活中得到充分的应用,促使其交友范围的增加。

但是,就目前来说,国内的许多英语教师还没有领悟到2012版英语教材中的核心思想,对其内涵认识不够,导致其教学方法还是一成不变,从而和2012版的新课改的改革思想大相径庭。
