本单元教材分析
Body Parts是小学阶段一个主要的话题内容。本单元在一年级学习过的五官名称的基础上再现这一内容,将身体部位名称的学习与身体状况联系起来,注重对身体哪里不舒服、疼痛的询问与表达:What’s the matter? MY head hurts.
同时在学习中还渗透了解自己的身体,注意个人卫生、不乱吃东西的习惯和意识。

Homework
1.Listen and read the words on page52 then copy for 3 times.
2.Sing the song to students’ parents.
• Now point to the picture of thewords. Model the word and have the children repeat it after you.

Listen to the order and do: Touch your leg. Touch your arm.
Review the story picture by picture. Then point to the words in story:
Ask,“What's this word?”Elicit,“stomach”
• Repeat for arm .
•Now hold up the flashcard forhair. Ask,“Which part is this?”Elicit,“hair”.
•Replay the tape. Pause after each word. Have the children repeat the word each time.
3.Listen to this
Play the tape, stopping after each sentence.
Explain that this time you want the children to write the sentence number in the box next to the matching picture.

1.Review
• Review the flashcards for this Unit. Hold up the flashcard for body parts.
Now ask the question:How are you today? I’m not well.
Let the children guess:Your stomach hurts? Your head hurts?
Elicit the sentence:My head hurts.
• Play the tape and have the children touch the matching pictures as they hear them mentioned on the tape.
• Hold up the flashcard for arm and elicit the correct word for the children.
2.Words to learn
Student Book page 40
•Have the children open their books at page 52. Draw their attention to the pictures at the top of the page. Point to each picture in turn and elicit the words the children already know(hair face head arm hand stomach leg foot).
