Recently Dr. Cleiman has proved that everyone has a daily energy cycle. During the hours when you labor (work) through your work, you may say that you are "hot". That is true, the time of day when you feel most energetic is when your cycle of body temperature is at its peak. For some
people the peak comes during the forenoon. For others it comes in the afternoon or evening. No one has discovered why this is so.
Much family quarrelling ends when husbands and wives realize what this energy cycle means and which cycle each member of the family has.
You cannot change your cycle, but you can learn to make your life fit it better. "Habits can help," Dr. Cleiman believes. If your energy cycle is low in the morning but you have an important job early in the day, rise before your usual hour, and then you will work better at your low point. Get off to a slow start which saves your energy. Get up with a lazy yawn (哈欠) and stretch (伸展). Sit on the edge of bed before putting your feet on the floor. Avoid the troublesome searching for clean clothes by laying them out the night before.

Love, success, happiness, family and freedom—how important these values to you? Here is one interview which explores the fundamental questions in life.
Question: Could you introduce yourself first?
Answer: My name is Misbah, 27 years old. I was born in a war-torn area. Right now I'm a web designer.
Q: What are your great memories?
A: My parents used to take us to hunt birds, climb trees, and play in the fields. For me it was like a holiday, because we were going to have fun all day long. Those are my great memories. Q: Does your childhood mean a lot to you?

Q: What changes would you like to make in your life?
A: If I could change something in my life, I'd change it so that my childhood could have taken place in another area. I would have loved to live with my family in freedom. Who cares whether
we have much money, or whether we have a beautiful house? It doesn't matter as long as I can live with my family and we are safe.
Q: How do you get along with your parents?
A: My parents supported me until I came of age. I want to give back what I've got. That's our way. But I am working in another city. Car sharing is another way to drive green that's gaining in popularity, especially in urban areas. People who may not drive every day but still want a car to run errands (办事) or drive on weekends benefit most from car sharing. Car sharing is usually run by a service like Zipcar, though there are nonprofit (非盈利的) and informal car sharing services. Members pay a monthly fee and have access (使用) to an entire fleet of cars when they need one. The cars are parked in fixed spots around the city, so members only need to make a reservation (预约), and then go to the pickup spot.
Car sharing has major environmental benefits because it lessens the number of cars on the road. Members don't drive just because they have a car. They plan trips, and if they don't need
a car, they don't use one. Still, a car is available to them if they need to make a big trip to the grocery store, pick someone up at the airport or if they want to go to the beach for the day. Members also benefit by having access to a car without any of the headaches of ownership. They usually don't have to pay for gas, insurance or maintenance (保养), and the monthly membership fee is less than a typical car payment. So if you really want to go green but aren't ready to totally give up a car yet, car sharing may be the way to go.
If you still need to get around, but want to go even greener than sharing a car, share a bus! On the next page, you'll learn about the green benefits of mass transit.
68. We learn from the passage that car sharing .
A. has become the most popular way to go to work
B. has become the best way to cut living costs
C. is becoming more and more popular in cities
D. is becoming popular both in urban and rural (农村的) areas
69. We can conclude that .
A. Zipcar can't help you if you are running errands
B. Zipcar is a company which supplies car sharing services
C. Zipcar, different from other services, aims green driving without profit (盈利).
D. Zipcar is a company providing informal car sharing services
70. The second paragraph mainly tells us .
A. why to share a car
B. why car sharing benefits the environment
C. why car sharing is cheaper than owning a car

Yours,
Li Qing 写作
Sir,
I'm writing to request a valuable chance to be one of the host families of the Australian students.
We have a large and clean house, which lies in a beautiful district of the city. What's more, I'm good at English and my parents are both English teachers. So I'm sure there shouldn't be any difficulty for us to communicate with our guests. In addition, last year, we hosted two students from New Zealand. We had great fun with each other and I got much experience as well. During their stay, I will show them around the places of interest in Ji'an. They will surely be fascinated by the beautiful scenery of Ji'an. Besides, my mother cooks well, so they can have a taste of local food. I'm sure they will have a good time here.
Looking forward to your reply.
Yours,
Li Qing。
