摘要：PURPOSE:To enhance the separability, pressure resistance and permeability of a column and to allow high-speed sepn. by using a specific packing material. CONSTITUTION:The packing material for liquid chromatograph consisting of a porous resin, the base material of which is a copolymer of a monovinyl monomer (e.g., styrene) and polyvinyl monomer (e.g., divinyl benzene), is packed in this column. The packing material formed by introducing functional groups into a porous resin having <=3mum grain size in a dry state, 100 to 400m<2>/g specific surface, 5 to 15nm pore size, and
<=1ml/g pore volume so as to attain 0.1 to 3meq/g exchange capacity is used. The production of the packing material by a method for forming the above-mentioned copolymer by pearl polymn., etc., and classifying the copolymer, then treating the copolymer with a sulfonating agent or treating the same with a chloromethylating agent to make amination is possible as well.
