《It’s big and light》教学设计

一、教学目标:
知识目标:
学会运用It’s big and light. It’s s got two pockets.来描述事物的特征。

学习并能口头运用“This blue one is big and light. It’ll be easy for you.”这类语句说明做出决定的原因。

掌握单词: light pocket heavy broken
能力目标:教给学生购物时要比较、选择适合自己的商品。

情感目标:使学生体验学习、参与、合作、竞争的乐趣。

二、教学重难点分析:
1、单词:light,broken,heavy,pocket
2、句型:This black bag is nice. It’s big. It’s big and light. It’ll be easy for her.
3、难点:难点是单词broken的学习,以及句型It’ll be easy(hard)for you(her, him)的运用.
三、教具准备:充分利用多媒体,实物等,创设英语学习的氛围,提高学生的学习兴趣。

四、教学过程
Step1、warming up
1.Greetings
2.T:What’s this?
S: Balloon.
T:What color is it?
S1:black.(S2:red…)
T:Which one is the biggest? Which one is the smallest?
(通过复习颜色单词,并比较,引出课文。

)
3.Game:
反义词示例:new-----old small-----big thin-----fat tall-----short(long)
Step2、lead-in
T:Yesterday I bought a new bag. My bag is broken.(新单词broken)Guess, what color is it? What color is your bag?
教师拿出两个提前准备好的包进行描述:
1. This is my bag. It’s green. But it is old and broken.(拿一个破旧的包进行描述;实物能够让学生充分理解broken的意思)
2.然后拿出一个新的包:This is my bag too. It’s red. It’s new. It’s got two pockets.(出示pocket这个单词,并指着包上的口袋让学生明白其意思.)
3. Let SS carry the two bags. Ask how they feel. (自己可先做示范,教授新单词:heavy,light)
There are three books in my new bag, so it’s heavy.
There is nothing in my old bag, so it’s light.
4.将新学的单词编成一首chant,便于学生记忆:
Pocket, pocket, pocket,
My bag has one pocket,
Light, Light, Light,
Her bag is Light.
Broken, broken, broken,
Your bag is broken.
Heavy, heavy, heavy
His bag is heavy.
