Lesson 1 There is a river near the village.
一、教材分析
第五单元围绕Country Life 话题展开,主要学习谈论乡村的景色及生活,本课为第五单元第一课There is a river near the village,讲述了Guo Yang 带领Jenny、Danny 到达爷爷、奶奶所在的村庄后的所见、所闻,要求学生感受乡村生活的美丽以及学会运用There be 句型描述村庄里的景和物。

本课以学生为主体,借助现代信息技术,充分调动学生的感官参与、身心参与,创设各种情境使学生在真切的体验中感受乡村之美,引导学生自主开展全面、扎实的英语实践活动促进学生自主成长,提高学生的核心素养。

二、学情分析
学生知识基础分析:学生在五年级上册第四单元第二课:There is an old building in my school 中已经掌握了There be 句型。

五年级下册第四单元第二课:Is there a gym around?这一课中,学习过There be 的一般疑问句单数的问法及其回答,对如何描述小区公园,学校有了一定的学习基础。

学生对居住城市周边的公园非常熟悉,利于开展活动。

课前,学生使用一起作业平台实现自主预习,课堂上小组合作探究,互动创新,交流并分享学习成果,教学活动体现互动教学。

学生能力分析:
五年级的学生活泼好动,纯真可爱。

大部分学生都喜欢上英语课,上课时能够专心听讲,能够积极主动的发言,具备一定的认知能力,掌握了小组合作学习的学习方式,养成了听音模仿大声朗读的习惯,具备文本复述和自创新文本的能力。

学生生活经验分析:
现在的孩子大部分居住在城市,但对于农村,爷爷奶奶的村庄也并不陌生。

所以在拓展环节设计并介绍最美村庄,也是从学生的生活经验出发。

三、教学目标:
知识目标:
1、能听懂、会说,会读,会写单词village bird happily river any duck catch.
2、能听懂、会说并认读句型: There are... in the ... Are there any fish in the river?
Yes,they are./No,they aren’t.来询问某地是否有某物并回答。

能力目标:
1、能听懂、会说并认读单词village bird river duck happily any
catch. 2、能够熟练运用所学句型描述村庄。

情感目标:热爱乡村生活,保护自己家乡的环境。

四、教学重难点
1.教学重点:能熟练运用句型Are there any fish in the river? Yes,they are./No,they aren’t.来询问某地是否有某物并回答。

2.教学难点:句型的灵活运用及There is 和T here are 的正确运用。

3.教学方法:情景教学法

六、教学过程
Step1. Warm up
Let’s watch a video and think:What’s it about? 学生回答:Country Life ,引出本单
元的主题。

Step 2 Presentation
1.看着最后一张图片:问:What’s this?学生回答:It’s a village. 出示三张图片练习village:There is a beautiful/nice village. 出示一张图片问:Whose village is it? 生答:It’s Guo Yang’s grandparents’ village. 师:Jenny ,Danny and Guo Yang are in the village. What are there in the village? Watch the video and answer. 看完课文视频后,
学生回答:There are some trees and flowers in the village。

T here are some birds in the trees. There is a river near the village. There are some fish and ducks in the river.学生边说,教师边把这些图片贴在黑板上:树,花,房子按照固定位置贴好,其余的随意
贴在黑板上。

贴完后,教师描述:There are some trees in the village. What are
there in the trees? 出示图片,鸟儿飞进。

生答:birds. 领读生词bird,two birds.听:T here are some birds in the trees. 老师指着黑板问:What are there in the trees? 学生完整回答:There are some birds in the trees. 出示图片:What are the birds doing? 听鸟叫声,
生回答They’re singing happily. 领读单词:happily。

出示2 张图片练习:They’re dancing happily. She’s skipping happily.出示一幅图:学生2 人一组谈论:What can you see in the picture? ( 用T here is ...或There are ...谈论。

)
2.教师指着黑板:There are some birds in the trees. Where is the river? 领读单词river.出示2 张图片练习:It’s the Changjiang River. It’s the Yellow River.教师拿着河流图片,在黑板上演示:Where is the river? Here or here? 找一学生来黑板上贴上河流的位置:在房子附近。

如果学生贴不对,再找一个贴对位置,师说:There is a river near the village 。

出示幻灯片的图片:听并跟读。

同时板书句子。

几组学生读句子。

指着板书说:There is a river near the village 。

提问:Are there any fish in the river? 学习生词:any.板书这句话。

出示图片:鱼进入。

学生回答:Yes ,there are.领读并板书。

几组学生一问一答练习重点句型。

出示一条污染的河流图片,说:It’s a river,too. Guess:Are there any fish in the river? 生回答:No, there aren’t.领读并板书。

继续提问:Why?生答:Because it’s too dirty. 师:So we should protect the nature. Clear up the litter.进行思想教育:保护自然环境。

师指着黑板示范问:Are there any trees in the village?生答:Yes ,there are.问:Are there any sheept in the village?生答:No, there aren’t。

问:Is there any grass in the village?边问边贴草坪,生答:Yes,there is。

两人一组,看着板书问答。

练习后,找几组学生展示。

3.最后一组问答后,教师指着河流问:Are there any ducks in the river? 学习生词duck.让学生打开课本大声朗读第三段,找到答案。

出示图片:鸭子进入。

生回答:Yes
,there are.听并跟读:There are some ducks in the river.同时板书。

拿着鸭子图片问:What are there in the river?生答:There are some ducks in the river.把鸭子图片贴到河里。

出示图片问:W hat are the ducks doing? 鸭子捉鱼进入,生答:T hey are catching fish. 学习生词catch.出示2 组图片练习catch: Catch the ball. Don’t catch the bird. 师:Yes ,Let’s protect the animal.They’re our friends.进行思想教育:保护动物。

出示图片:D anny wants to catch fish,too.But he can’t. Why? Listen: We may do it tomorrow. Let’s go to my grandparents’ house. 生重复。

师:L ook !This is their house. There are some ducks in their yard. There is a goat . This is their vegetable garden.单元整合,由house 拓展第二课的内容,借助图片,学生了解奶奶的家。

师:It’s a beautiful village. Do you like it? 生答。

Step 3 Consolidation
看着板书,引导学生复述课文。

T his is a village. I like the village. There are some and in the village.
There are many in the trees .
They’re singing happily.
There is a near the village.
There are some in the river.
They are some in the river.
They are fish .
学生练习。

找几个学生展示。

然后齐读,边读边出答案。

Step 4 Production
1.出示课本第二部分,师介绍:It’s a beautiful village.Let’s talk about it.两人一组,根据提示,完成对话。

A: This is a village. There is a river near the village.
B:Are there any trees in the village?
A: Yes,there are. /No,there aren’t.
B: Is there a boy…near/ in/behind/next to…?
A:Yes, there is. ? No,there isn’t.
2.师:T he village is so beautiful. We have been building new villages in recent years. The new villages are becoming more and more beautiful. 学生观看图片:新农村的发展。

And you design more beautiful village. Now take out of your works .First discuss it in your group and then show us.找几个学生介绍自己设计的村庄,教师随时鼓励。

学生介绍完毕后,其余学生用:Are there any…? Is there…?来提问。

该学生根据自己的作品,做出回答。

师:You did a good job. So let’s enjoy the beauty of the village.进行德育渗透:The nature is so beautiful.
Protect and love the nature(保护,热爱自然)!
Enjoy the life(享受生活)!
Step 5 Sum up
What have you learnt today? 教师指着黑板,引领学生读单词和句型。

Step 6 Homework
1.Describe(描述) a village to your parents.
2.Make a picture book about your favourite village/city/school/park/home/neighbourhood(社区)(选个自己喜欢的地方,做绘本,图
文并茂)。

板书设计。
