Today, I want to tell you about something I really like - English essay writing! I know it might sound boring to some kids, but I find it super fun and interesting. Let me explain why!First of all, I love learning new English words and expressions. It's like going on a treasure hunt! Every time I write an essay, I get to explore the dictionary and discover cool new words to use. It makes me feel like a brave explorer uncovering hidden gems. Plus, using fancy words in my essays makes me feel really smart and grown-up.Another reason I enjoy English essay writing is that it allows me to express my thoughts and feelings. When I write, it's like my pen becomes a magic wand, and I can create any story or adventure I can imagine. I can write about my favorite superheroes, my dreams of becoming an astronaut, or even my silly pet dog's funny antics. The possibilities are endless! But you know what's really awesome? English essay writing helps me improve my language skills. When I write, I have to think carefully about grammar rules, sentence structure, and spelling. It's like going to the gym, but for my brain! The more I practice, the stronger my English abilities become. And who knows, maybe one day I'll become a famous author and write bestselling books!Of course, writing English essays can be challenging sometimes. Sometimes I get stuck and can't think of what to write next. Or I might make silly mistakes that my teacher has to point out. But that's okay! Every challenge is an opportunity to learn and grow. I just keep practicing, and little by little, I get better and better. One of my favorite things about English essay writing is the different types of essays we get to write. Sometimes we write narratives, which are like telling a story. Other times, we writepersuasive essays, where we have to convince the reader to agree with our opinion. We even get to write descriptive essays, where we use lots of colorful words to paint a picture with our writing.Speaking of different essay types, did you know that in Guizhou Province, there are special Undergraduate English Essay types for students who want to continue their studies after high school? From 2020 to 2023, some of the popular essay types included argumentative essays, research-based essays, and even creative writing pieces. Isn't that cool? It just shows how versatile and important English essay writing is, even for older students! In the end, I'm really grateful that my teachers introduce me to English essay writing at such a young age. It's not just about learning a language – it's about developing important skills like critical thinking, creativity, and self-expression. Who knows, maybe one day my love for English essay writing will lead me to become a famous writer, journalist, or even a diplomat representing my country! So, if you're an elementary school student like me, don't be afraid to pick up that pencil and start writing. English essay writing is a fun and rewarding adventure, and who knows whereit might take you? Just keep an open mind, practice regularly, and let your imagination soar!篇2The Guizhou Specialty Upgrade Tests from 2020 to 2023Hi everyone! My name is Xiaoming and I'm a 5th grader. My big brother took the Guizhou specialty upgrade tests to go from junior college to a bachelor's degree program. He studied really hard for the English writing section. I helped him practice by asking what kinds of essays he had to write. Let me tell you all about the different types!First up is argumentation. The test gave my brother a controversial topic, and he had to pick a side and try to convince the reader his opinion is right. He showed me one practice prompt about whether social media is good or bad for society. He made an outline with his main argument up top, then had three body paragraphs explaining different supporting reasons. The conclusion just restated his opinion. My brother said argumentation essays have to be very logical and use lots of facts and examples to back up your claims.Another type was exposition. For these essays, you don't argue - you just objectively explain a concept or process in aclear, easy to understand way. One practice prompt asked to explain the reasons why protecting the environment is important. My brother made an outline listing out all the key points he wanted to cover, like pollution, resource conservation, animal protection and so on. He used simple vocabulary so any reader could follow along. No giving opinions, just presenting the facts! Then there were narrative essays. These were fun because you got to make up a creative story! The prompts gave a situation to base your tale on. One was to write a story about overcoming a personal challenge. My brother's story was about struggling with a difficult math concept, but he kept studying until he mastered it. For narratives, you want to have an interesting plot with a beginning, middle, and end. Use lots of descriptive details to make the story come alive! The last type was reflective essays. For these, you had to think deeply about your feelings, beliefs or life experiences related to the prompt. One practice question asked my brother to reflect on the most important lesson he's learned in life so far. His essay was about the time he cheated on a test and got caught - he learned that being honest and ethical is way better than taking shortcuts. With reflections, you have to get really personal and analyze your own mind and emotions.Whew, that's a lot of different essays my brother practiced! He said argumentation and exposition were the hardest since they require very strong logical thinking and writing skills. Narratives were the most fun since you can get creative. And reflections pushed him to open up and write from the heart. No matter the type though, all the essays had to be super clear, well-organized, and flow smoothly from one idea to the next.English writing was definitely the section my brother worried about the most for the specialty upgrade tests. But he studied all the different essay types over and over again. He outlined, drafted, wrote, revised, you name it! All that hard work paid off because he did an amazing job on the real test. Now my brother is a college undergraduate living his dream! While the essay types sound kind of tricky, I know I'll be prepared when it's my turn in a few years. Thanks to my brother's practice, I've already gotten an early start learning the basics. Who knows, maybe I'll be an even better writer than him someday! For now though, us kids have bigger things to worry about - like making sure we get our daily servings of ice cream. Yum!篇3The Big Test for Older KidsHey there! My name is Lily and I'm going to tell you all about the super important test that my older brother Tommy had to take to get into a good university. It's called the Guizhou Higher Education Entrance Exam and it had a bunch of English writing parts that were really hard. But Tommy studied really really hard to get ready. In 2020, one of the English writing questions was about writing a letter to a friend. Tommy had to pretend he was writing to his best buddy telling him all about his summer vacation. He wrote about how we went to visit our grandparents in the countryside and all the fun things we did there like fishing in the stream and gathering vegetables from my grandma's garden. At the end he invited his friend to come along next year. I helped Tommy practice writing friendly letters so he'd be good at it for the test. The next year in 2021, there was a question where you had to write a short essay comparing two things. Tommy chose to compare cities and villages. He wrote all about how cities have tall buildings, lots of people, bars, malls, and museums. But villages are smaller with just houses, farms, and wide open spaces to run around. He said cities were more exciting withmore things to do, but villages were peaceful and quiet. I thought he did a good job showing the similarities and differences. In 2022, one of the questions was to write a narrative story about an experience you had. Tommy wrote about the time we got lost on a hiking trail in the mountains last year. He described how we took a wrong turn, got all turned around, ran out of snacks and water, and finally had to call Mom and Dad for help. It was a pretty scary adventure and Tommy made it sound really exciting and suspenseful in his story. He used a lot of descriptive words to set the scene.Just last year in 2023, Tommy had to write a persuasive essay for the test. The question was whether kids should have to go to school in the summer or have those months off like usual. Of course, Tommy argued for keeping summer vacation! He said kids need that break to relax, have fun with friends and family, and re-charge their brain batteries. School work is hard and everyone deserves a long summer break away from studying. I totally agreed with Tommy on that one.So those were the different types of writing questions Tommy had to do for his big Guizhou university entrance exam over the past few years. Doing all that practice for each kind ofessay - letters, comparisons, narratives, and persuasive writing - really prepared him well. With all his hard work and my help, he rocked those English writing sections! I'm super proud of my big bro for getting into such a good school. Maybe in a few years it will be my turn to follow in his footsteps and write those essays myself. But no rush, I'm just a kid still so I've got plenty of time before I need to worry about that!篇4The Guizhou Zhui Zhui English Writing TestHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm going to tell you all about the big English writing test that older students had to take in Guizhou from 2020 to 2023. It was called the Guizhou Specialized Undergraduate English Writing section. That's a really long name, so let's just call it the Zhui Zhui test! The Zhui Zhui test was super important for students who wanted to go to a good university after finishing their associate's degree. It was allllll about testing their English writing skills. Students had to write different kinds of essays and passages to show how well they could use English. Isn't that crazy? There were a few different types of writing assignments on the Zhui Zhui test. One was called "comprehensive writing"which sounds very fancy! For this part, the students had to write a long essay of between 400-500 words. They got a topic or question and had to make a full essay with an introduction, body paragraphs, examples, and a conclusion. Phew, that's a lot of writing!Another type was "practical writing" which was shorter pieces like emails, letters, advertisements and instructions. The students had to show they could write different kinds of real world texts clearly in English. I can barely write a letter to grandma in Chinese, let alone English! Then there was "translation" where the smart students had to translate something from Chinese into perfect English. Wow, I definitely couldn't do that! English is already so hard for me.But the craziest part was probably the "writing amendments" section. Get this - they actually gave the students a piece of writing that had errors in it, and they had to find and fix all the mistakes! Can you imagine having to edit and correct an entire essay or article? My teacher would go crazy if I made that many mistakes. The Zhui Zhui test was very difficult from what I've heard. The students had to prepare so much to get a high score. They took classes, read sample essays, practiced writing for hours, andlearned all kinds of fancy English writing rules and techniques. Some of them even went to special training schools just for the Zhui Zhui test!I'm so glad I don't have to take a huge test like that right now. I'll just keep working on my simple English sentences and essays for now. Who knows, maybe I'll be taking the Zhui Zhui test myself one day if I want to go to a really good university! But I'm just a little kid so I've got plenty of time before I need to start worrying about that.Anyways, that's the big scoop on the Guizhou Specialized Undergraduate English Writing section from a few years ago. It sounds intense but I'm sure all those hardworking students felt really accomplished when they finished it. Let me know if you have any other questions about it! I may be just a elementary student but I'll do my best to explain complicated English writing stuff. Thanks for reading, bye!篇5The Guizhou Zhuan Sheng Ben English Exam Writing ThingyHi there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm going to tell you all about this very important test called the Guizhou Zhuan Sheng Ben. It's a big English writing exam that students in Guizhouprovince have to take if they want to go from junior college to a four-year university. I'm still in elementary school, but my older cousin Jin has taken this exam, so I know a bit about it.From what Jin told me, the writing part of the test is super duper important. You have to write different types of essays and stuff to show how good you are at English writing. In 2020, one of the writing prompts was to write a letter to a foreign friend introducing Chinese traditional festivals. Jin said he wrote all about Spring Festival and how we set off firecrackers and get red envelopes with money inside. He said it was pretty easy because he just had to describe the traditions he's familiar with.In 2021, there was a prompt asking test takers to write an argumentative essay about whether middle school students should have daily homework or not. Jin's little brother was still in middle school then, so Jin argued that middle schoolers shouldn't have too much homework. He said kids that age need time to play and relax after being at school all day. I agree with Jin on that one for sure! The next year in 2022, one of the writing tasks was to look at a picture and write a story about what was happening. Jin showed me the picture and it looked like a family having a picnic in a park. His story was about how the family went to the park forthe little boy's birthday and they had a fun day playing games and eating yummy food. It sounded like a nice little story. Then just last year in 2023, Jin said he had to write an essay giving his opinion on an issue. The topic was whether schools should require students to do volunteer work or not. Jin argued that volunteer work is good because it teaches kids to care about their community and help others in need. He gave examples like volunteering at a nursing home or cleaning up litter in the park. Pretty cool ideas if you ask me!So those are some of the different writing tasks from the Guizhou Zhuan Sheng Ben English exam over the past few years. Jin said you really have to practice a lot to get ready. You need to learn how to organize an essay properly with clear paragraphs and topic sentences. You also gotta work on vocabulary, grammar, and just getting your English writing skills super solid.Jin worked really hard to prepare and he did great on the writing section. That helped him get admission to an awesome university where he's studying engineering now. I'm just a little kid but I can already tell how important English writing ability is. Who knows, maybe I'll have to take an exam just like the Guizhou Zhuan Sheng Ben one day when I'm in college too! I better start practicing my English essays now, heehee!Anyway, that's the low-down on this big important test from an elementary school kid's perspective. It's a pretty big deal and the writing part is crucial. You gotta show you can write all sorts of essays and stories in English about different topics. I'll be rooting for any older students taking the Guizhou Zhuan Sheng Ben exam in the future! Fighting篇6The Big Writing Test for Older StudentsHey there! My name is Little Lee and I'm going to tell you all about the writing part of a big test that students take when they are older called the Guizhou Academic Proficiency Test. This test is super important for students who finish their three-year college program and want to get a four-year bachelor's degree. The writing section can be pretty tricky, so let me break it down for you!In 2020, the writing part had two tasks that students had to complete. Task 1 was writing a letter of around 100 words. This could be anything from a letter to a friend telling them about your summer vacation to a formal letter complaining about a product you bought that was broken. The important thing wasusing the right type of language and format for that kind of letter.Task 2 was an essay of around 300 words. The topics could be all different kinds of things - like discussing an important event, talking about an area of interest, or giving your opinion on something. No matter the topic though, you had to organize your essay properly with clear paragraphs and transitions between ideas. The graders also wanted to see you use lots of fancy vocabulary and grammar structures to get higher points. In 2021, they mixed things up a bit! Task 1 stayed the same - writing a 100 word letter. But Task 2 changed to what they called "writing a composition." This was like a mix between telling a story and giving information. The length was still around 300 words. For example, one topic was "Describe a visit to a coastal city and explain its main attractions." So you'd need to narrate the story of your visit, but also give factual details about the tourist sites, history, culture, etc. It was a fun way to combine different writing skills!2022 looked a lot like 2021 for the writing tasks. They kept that combined story/informational "composition" format for Task 2. But one new thing they added was giving you somepictures or other prompt material related to the topic that you had to reference and analyze in your writing. For example, if the topic was about environmental protection, you might get some charts or photos of pollution that you'd have to describe and discuss. It helped guide your writing while also letting you show off those analytical skills! Finally, last year in 2023, they brought back a more traditional "write an essay" task for Part 2. The difference was that the prompts were quite open-ended. Instead of a specific question, you might just get a broad topic area like "technology" or "social media" and have to construct your own focused。

Exposition allows the writer to present information or explain a concept in a clear and concise manner. It helps the reader to understand the topic better. On the other hand, argumentation allows the writer to present their opinions or arguments on a particular issue. It helps to persuade the reader and make them see the writer's point of view. In the exposition part, I can provide factual information about the benefits of exercise, such as improved physical health, increased energy levels, and reduced risk of chronic diseases. This will help the reader to understand why exercise is important. In the argumentation part, I can present my ownopinions and arguments about the topic.
