在这里我就毛遂自荐一些学习方法吧：学习英语有捷径培养兴趣最重要在现今分秒必争，资讯发达的时代中，语文能力的培养将不仅是学校的一门功课而已，无论贸易、出国考察、外交、观光旅游，甚至考试、就业、升迁在在都需要外语。
近年来更由於国外贸易的频繁，科技的引进，学习英语的风气蔚为时尚。
据调查报告显示，国内十年来英语人口急增数十倍，学习人口已超过五百万人，且比例仍在激增当中;据专家表示，再五年时光，不懂英语将成为「文盲」，极易流为失业人口，因此学好外语乃现代人必修课程;但目前众多的学习人口中，有1/3的学习者，却因兴趣缺乏而放弃学习，以致说不出流利的英语。
国内著名的语文专家，台大外文系的颜元叔教授说过：要学好英文就要先克服「心理障碍」，学英文正像学其它任何东西一样，心态很重要。
绝不要有怨怼之心。
许多的青年一看到英语就皱眉头，他们让大脑告诉自己：「我不喜欢英文!」这种先入为主的成见，一开始就扼杀了学英文的生机。
一个人生下来直至死去，无时无刻不与语言为伍，英文跟中文同样是语言，你根本不会不喜欢;至少说，没什麼喜不喜欢。
语言就像饮水，你能不喝吗?所以，喜欢不喜欢英文，全是后天造成的。
譬喻说，一开始发因没搞好，看到英文字「不知从何说起」;或者英文老师你不喜欢，讨厌老师也就讨厌上英文课;如此等等的理由却教人掷英文课本而兴叹，但这都不是真正的理由，就算你把英文当作Necessary evil(必要的邪恶)，人生就是语言，若有人说：「我不喜欢中文」，这等於是说「我不欢活下去」。
这个邪恶你必须去学习它，因为这已是时代必定的趋势，会成功的人，就是擅於把「必要之事」化为「善欢之事」。
把不喜欢变成有兴趣。
故学习英语当务之急首在「培养兴趣」。
早期学英语，早已形成社会风气，早期学英语者无论在考试或谋职上便占尽了便宜，为了让您得到公平，赶上时代之趋势，以免被淘汰，在新年度起，拟定一套学好英语的计画，充实自己。
