2.奥运会每四年一届,分为夏季奥运会和冬季奥运会。

现代奥运会是全球影响最大的国际体育盛会,有一系列独特而鲜明的象征性标志,如奥林匹克标志、格言、奥运会会旗、会歌、会徽、奖牌、吉祥物等,这些标志有着丰富的文化含义,形象地体现了奥林匹克理想的价值取向和文化内涵。

PartA教学目标:◆语言知识目标.学习词汇:game,ring,answer,olympicGames,Summerolympics,winterolympics,takeplace等。

2.学习句型:Didyou…?yes,wedid.whatdoyouknowabouttheolympicGames?3.学习成节辅音/bl/,/pil/,/val/和/mal/的发音。

5.功能:讨论奥林匹克运动会。

◆语言技能目标.能用所学的语言描述奥运会的会旗及召开的时间。

2.能就奥运会的话题开展简单的讨论。

3.能说出自己喜欢的奥运会的运动项目。

◆文化意识.知道奥运会召开的时间。

2.知道奥运会会旗上五环的含义。

教学重点:词汇olympicGames,takeplace,ring以及句型Thereare…,wecansee…教学难点:主要谈论奥运会的一般情况,时态以一般现在时为主;教学策略:本节课采用的教学方法有:对比法、自主学习、合作学习法。

教学中综合运用了讲授式、启发式、自主学习、小组合作学习等各种策略,指导学生进行自主探索学习,让学生在学习语言的基础上学习并掌握运用语言的能力。

教具准备:.词组卡片:Summerolympics,winterolympics等。

2.一些有关奥运会运动项目的图片。

3.奥运会会旗(或图片)。

4.录音机或教学光盘。

教学过程:Step1warmingup.师生互致问候。

2.教师播放录音,全班学生一起欣赏歌曲:youandme。

3.通过歌曲,揭示并板书课题:Unit1TheolympicGames4.教学olympicGames。

根据课题,出示卡片教学game,games和olympicGames,告诉学生olympicGames是专有名词,它的首字母要大写,接着教师将课题上的两个单词的第一个字母用红色粉笔标识出来。

Step2Presentation(一)师生自由谈话,了解简单的奥运会情况。

.教师提出问题,了解简单的奥运会情况。

问题一:DidyouwatchtheolympicGamesonTV?(1)教师在黑板上出示问题,引导学生理解并熟读句子。

(2)请学生回答,教师板书答句:yes,I/wedid.(3)复习如何谈论过去发生的事情和活动。

问题二:whatdoyouknowabouttheolympicGames?(1)教师在黑板上出示问题,引导学生理解并熟读句子。

(2)请学生自由发言,可以用中文表述。

2.初读课文,了解简单的奥运会情况。

(1)教师说:“mrwangandhisstudentsaretalkingabouttheolympicGame s.whatdotheysay?Let’slistenandwatchthecD-Rom.”(2)教师播放课文录音或cD-Rom,学生边听边看课文对话。

(3)请个别学生说一说,课文中谈到哪些有关奥运会的信息。

(二)课文教学。

.请学生自读课文对话,画出不明白的地方,看看能否通过上下文推测出其含义或通过同桌同学互助解决难点。

2.学习句子Theytakeplaceeveryfouryears.(1)学习词组everyfouryears,当学生明白其发音和意义后,引导学生说些类似的词组,如:everyday,everytwodays,everythreeyears等。

(2)出示卡片,教学词组takeplace并举一些范例帮助学生巩固该词组的用法,如:ThepartywilltakeplaceonSunday.meetingstakeplaceeveryweek.(3)请全班或个别学生示范读句子。

3.学习句子ThereareSummerolympicsandwinterolympics.(1)出示Summerolympics和winterolympics的卡片,让学生读一读,然后将两张词组卡片贴在黑板上课题TheolympicGames的下方。

(2)教师提出问题:whatsportscanweseeatSummerolympics?whatsportscanweseeatwinterolympics?根据学生的回答,在卡片Summerolympics旁贴上“游泳”“划船”和“打篮球”等图片,在卡片winterolympics 旁贴上“滑冰”的图片。

请学生看图说出句子:wecanseeswimming,boatingandbasketballatSummerolympics.wecanseeskatin gatwinterolympics.4.学习句子TherearefiveringsontheolympicFlag.(1)教师出示一面奥运会会旗的图片,引导学生说出theolympicFlag。

(2)教师指着会旗上的五环说:“ontheolympicFlag,therearefive.”引出单词ring的教学。

(3)教师指着会旗上的五环问:“whatcolorarethey?”请几个学生来回答。

每个学生回答后,教师用Goodanswers/Verygoodanswers/youranswersareverygood等来评价。

(4)出示单词answer并教学。

(5)文化渗透,与学生共同说一说奥运五环的含义。

5.熟读课文。

(1)请学生翻开课本第2页,教师播放课文录音或cD-Rom 二至三遍,学生模仿跟读。

(2)请个别学生根据板书内容复述课文。

(三)巩固活动。

.完成课本第3页的Askandanswer.部分。

(1)教师播放录音,学生边听边默读。

(2)请学生自己读熟对话内容,然后教师问:“whatdoyouknowabouttheolympicGames?”请大家你一言我一语地完成老师的问题。

2.完成课本第6页的Learntowrite.部分。

(1)请学生独立完成练习,教师巡视,注意学生的书写习惯。

(2)请个别学生到黑板上完成练习。

(3)教师校对答案,学生订正。

(四)语音教学。

.学习成节辅音/bl/的发音。

(1)教师出示table和vegetable两个单词,请学生读一读。

(2)请学生找出两个单词在书写上的共同之处ble,并读一读。

(3)将单词table分为两个音节,请学生读出ta—/te I/,ble—/bl/。

2.学习成节辅音/pl/的发音。

(1)教师出示pupil和people两个单词,请学生读一读。

(2)请学生尝试将这两个单词划分一下音节,并分音节读一读。

(3)请学生总结出/pil/和/ple/的发音。

3.学习成节辅音/vl/和/ml/的发音。

(1)出示/ble/,/pil/和/ple/,请学生读一读,找出发音规律。

(2)出示/val/和/mal/,请学生尝试读出它们的发音。

(3)出示festival和animal两个单词,请学生读一读,看看自己是否读对了/val/和/mal/的发音。

4.教师播放课本第3页的ListenandlearntheEnglishsounds的录音,学生模仿跟读。

Step3Extension综合活动:myfavoritesports。

将学生分为四人一小组,教师准备几组小卡片,卡片里有奥运会运动项目的图片,学生可从中任意挑选自己喜欢的图片,然后根据自己所选择的图片编几个句子,在小组内交流。

Step4Homework.听录音跟读课文对话并背诵。

2.完成《活动手册》中本课的练习。
