经过实地调查走访以及与其他乡镇教师交流，对本县乡镇小学英语教学现状有了初步的了解。
现就几点突出问题提出自己的对策。
一、问题1、学校对英语教学不重视经了解，许多乡镇学校没有专职的英语老师，英语课全由本班的语数教师兼任。
由于在质量监测考试中，英语只占20分，就形成这样一个普遍观念－－英语是副科，不如语数重要。
所以，英语课几乎被语数老师占用，改上为语数课。
尽管有的学校有英语专业的教师，但这些老师却被学校安排上语数课，未实现专科专用。
有的学校甚至从未开设英语课，而是在临近考试前的两个月，才来给学生恶补英语。
以至于六年级这样的高年级学生连26个字母都不能完全认读，英语基础几乎为零。
2、师资短缺，教师工作量大农村小学英语教师一般都是兼职教师，任课量多，不仅要任语文、数学主考科目而且还有其它的副科。
一个教师平均要任三至四门的课且任多少课就得备多少课，导致备课量较大，教师工作负荷较重，无暇花费更多的精力来提高自己的英语教学水平。
例如，我校就只有我一位英语教师，三、四、五、六年级的英语课全由我一个人上。
每天我要备四堂课，写四份教案，制作四份课件，批改四个年级的作业，有时还要参加学校的听课活动。
我感到教学工作负担十分沉重，我每天都在疲于备课上课，很难有充分的时间钻研教材，提高自身的素质，提高教学技能。
同时由于专职英语教师少，各学校缺乏教学研究的氛围，领导对英语教研这一项工作也不是很重视，即使曾派英语教师出外学习，但回来后也只是个人写一写收获，很少组织集中讨论英语教学。
因此教学观念和方法得不到及时更新，教学只能停留在低层次水平上。

二、调查报告调研结果显示：学业成绩不错的学员有一定的学习方法，但在其中一部分孩子学习语汇时大量的是无意识记忆，处于被动熟记，缺乏目的性和既定目标，在一些怎样有效学习语汇的意识上，她们还存有一些模糊不清的了解，在如何把恰当的意识转换为相对应的行動上还存有很大的差别，缺乏实际的对策具体指导。
三、存在的不足及根本原因1、欠缺信心。
学员要非常好地记忆单词，自信心是确保。
当学员怀着信心和热情去做某事时，他便会做得非常好。
自信心必须自身的持续勤奋，另外也离不了教师的激励。
2、对记忆单词的趣味性欠缺充足的充分准备。
学员在一开始记忆单词的实际效果是非常好的，但伴随着学习任务的加剧和英语单词量的越来越大，其记忆力实际效果不如从前。
归根结底，学员对英语单词记忆的艰难估计不足，欠缺充分准备，当碰到一些艰难时非常容易缺失自信心。
3、记忆法不合理。
在学员的在潜意识中中，背英语单词就和中小学背诵古诗文一样，要靠“死记硬背的”，背诵古诗文虽然这般，但背英语单词却有不一样。
因此许多同学们便会培养光动口不动手能力的习惯性，却不知道，英文单词的记忆力要激发每个人体器官，尤其是嘴，手，眼，脑。
唯其如此，英语单词才可以较快记牢。
4、推进不及时。
非常一部分同学们觉得，英语单词记录下来了就相当于英语单词熟记了，它是一种不正确的了解，也是违反忘却的一般规律性的。

主要有国际贸易方向，旅游方向和师资方向。
其中，国际贸易方向提供国际贸易业务人员、商务翻译、商务助理等方面的职业。
旅游方向主要涉及英文导游及涉外宾馆的接待及管理人员、外企业高级文员、外向型企业一般管理员这样的工作岗位。
对于师资方向来说，幼儿园、小学、中学、职业高中的教师都是可选的。
针对这样的主题，我设计了一套问卷调查，通过在一定的范围内做了调查之后，我得出了一些结论。
不可否认的是，相当大的一部分比例的人都觉得英语在社会上的地位不是那么重要了，因为太多人会英语了。
英语因此成了一个弱势的专业。
而认为英语很重要的人则占一小部分，他们认为学好了英语很重要。
大部分的人认为现在人才市场上英语需求的是听说读写的综合能力，仅次于综合能力的是口语好，少数人认为读写，收发邮件,其中有25%的人认为翻译，包括笔头和口头是很需要的。
80%的学生认为英语人才需要的行业是外贸行业，次之的是酒店和旅游。
如果说使用英语，更多的时候是在做翻译，70%的人是同意的，完全同意的则占10%，当然不同意的也有少数。
在同学们找翻译公司的时候，很多人重视质量，质量好的才是第一，当然也有不少人重视速度还有方便，容易找到的跟快捷的也是一大优势。
随着近些年社会的进步和发展，特别是沿海城市和大城市的日益趋于国际化，大型企业，外资企业，日益成为毕业生向往的就业目标。

外贸企业的本土化，内资企业的国际化，需要一大批有较强外语沟通能力、熟悉现代化办公设备的商务英语人才。
国际商务公司、外资企业、三资企业、民营企业、金融机构、跨国公司中国分公司、境外中国公司、涉外机构、政府、行政事业单位从事国际贸易、进出口贸易、翻译、涉外文秘和管理等。
还有各外贸交易公司、商场、宾馆、企事业单位办公部门等也需要本专业人才。
在近几年我们当地的就业市场上，一些企业往往偏爱有理工科背景的英语专业学生。
单纯的英语人才市场需求已日趋饱和，因此，英语专业的学生既要对理工科的知识有所了解又要深入地学习几门其他的小语种。
还有就是近年一些英语专业的大学生高不成低不就，刚毕业就想找到一个工资好又轻松的职业，这还是相当困难的。
招聘人员告诉我，现在的大学生就业后需要有一个非常艰难的阶段来进行再学习，因为不管是从事翻译或其他行业的职位，因为本身专业的狭隘性，需要对于本身从事工作的背景知识和实际操作进行从零开始的学习，但一旦掌握了相关的专业知识，我们的专业素养就可以让它们充分发挥，并且会比其他的英语较弱的同事有更多接触工作高级层面的机会。

当前，高等学校在职业教育方面存在着一些突出问题，学校教育与学生就业及市场对人才的需求相脱节，教学实效性较差，教学工作处于尴尬局面。
在采用抽样调查法、问卷调查、走访等方法后，对商务英语专业市场人才需求的状况，对商务英语专业学生教学及课程开发的要求等情况进行了调查与分析，以有利于改革高职高专教育和教学工作。
就业市场商务英语人才需求
在国民教育体系中，职业教育是一个不可忽视的重要组成部分，因为它是促进经济、社会发展和劳动就业的重要途径。
职业教育就是就业教育，社会需求是职业教育的生产力。
只有坚持改革、创新，根据市场需求，及时调整专业，才是职业教育可持续发展的根本途径。
20**年8月至20**年9月，吉林省教育学院外语系《高职商务英语专业课程开发与课程设置改革的研究》课题组在吉林省、辽宁省、浙江省以及北京、上海、深圳、杭州、义乌、大连等地进行一次市场人
才需求社会问卷抽样调查，力图调查社会对商务英语专业人才的需求情况，了解一些基本情况及所占比例，为商务英语专业进一步发展提供依据，并按社会需求和就业导向进行课程开发和改革，重新制定以就业为导向，以学生职业生涯规划为主线的教学计划，使专业及其课程设置更趋完善、有效，并符合当代社会发展的需要，具有时效性。
一、关于调查问卷
1、问卷调查的问题
本次调查问卷是由课题组成员共同设计的。
由三部分组成，即调查单位基本情况、主体问卷以及对商务英语专业课程设置的情况调查，共设计问题35个，其中调研单位及被调查者个人基本情况5个，市场人才需求和课程设置调查具体问题30个。
2、问卷调查的途径
此次调查问卷发放采取的方式有两种，一是邮寄问卷，二是经过走访的方式，直接到调查单位发放问卷，与管理者进行面对面的交流和采访，并把答卷当场提交上来。
邮寄的调查问卷以及走访单位的范围包括全国5个省、12个市，共发放问卷500份，收回问卷156份，其中有效问卷128份。
二、基本情况
本次调查的单位主要涉及国营和事业单位、民营企业、中外合资企业、商贸和股份
制公司、个体及私营公司等。
从企业规模看，大型企业占22、0%、中型企业占31、5%、小型企业占46、5%。
从企业的经济类型看，国有企业占10、4%、民营企业占23、5%、中外合资企业占9、0%、商贸和股份合作制公司占25、5%、个体和私营公司占31、6%。
调查以公司和企业管理者为对象，其中企业经营者职务为董事长、总经理、厂长、企业高层副职占26、0%，市场部及人事部经理职务占38、5%，工程师和技术人员8、7%，公司职员17、5%，其它职务占9、3%。
受调查的128人中，男性占64、1%，女性占35、9%、
三、对商务英语专业人才需求情况
在本次调查中，在问到调查单位当前是否有引进商务英语人才计划时，有60、9%的单位选择了“有”；暂未考虑和没有的分别为23、4%和15、6%。
这说明市场对商务英语专业毕业生需求是比较大的，培养的前景是乐观的。
调查中，认为最受企业欢迎的商务英语专业毕业生类型是“学习成绩好，并具有较强的社交能力的”占60%，其次是“社交能力强”的占27、9%，而“学习成绩好”的占12、1%、可见综合素质高是最受欢迎的毕业生类型。
在问到对商务英语专业毕业生的具体要求（可多种）时，提出“英语口语好”的比例最多占61、6%，依次是“交际能力强”占53、8%，
“具有扎实的基本功，业务能力强”占42、6%，“有一定的商务实践能力”占40、5%，“英语+商务”占19%，毕业生“要过英语四级”的占18、5%，“有国家二级计算机证书”的占10、3%，“具有良好的职业道德和就业观念”占5、6%，“形象气质佳”的占3、1%。
对于职业资格证书对毕业生是否重要的问题上，调查单位表示重要的比例为45%，认为不太重要，重实际能力的占54、7%。
由此可看出用人单位已倾向于看重毕业生的实际能力和水平，但从统计的比例数也可看出当前不少单位还是重视毕业生是否拥有各种证书。
四、对商务英语专业学生教学及课程开发的要求调查
在本次调查中，调查单位对商务英语专业教学和课程设置的问题是比较关心的。
在问到商业英语专业的英语基础课是否需要以商务内容为学习材料时，有82、5%的单位选择了同意；不同意也不反对和不同意的分别占12、3%和5、2%。
这表明商务英语专业的英语基础课的教材以商务内容为学习英语技能的材料是符合市场需求的。
在商务英语专业的专业课教学应该用英语进行还是借助汉语讲授的问题上，同意借助汉语讲授商务知识的比例最高占45、3%，同意用英语讲述的比例占33、6%，不同意也不反正确比例是21、1%。
可见，赞成借助本族语学习商务知识的比重较大，说明专业知识的学习与英语技能的培养相关性不是十分大。
